The feminists are clinging on to these superhero movies for two reasons (probably more, but two come to mind immediately).

1.) They have no original ideas. So the only way they can artistically create something is to appropriate a previous movie.

2.) Women are only physically equal to men in fantasy worlds. So they have to force-feed these movies down the public's throat in order to keep their equalist narrative alive.

Just wait until they make Batgirl a bigger badass than Batman ever was.

Yes, indeed. And of course, Bruce will fall madly in love with her emasculating ways. lol.

A little off topic but I caught some of the new Magnum PI show. There's a scene where this skinny bitch beats up 2 hardened mercenaries with her bare hands (and feet). Then they run away scared like they were just confronted by Little Dark.

Brie Larson lacks star power.

I haven't kept up with movies in the past decade or so, so I call bs immediately when I get presented these people they claim are stars now and are lackluster and over hyped.

Lacks star power & lacks any charisma or charm.

Here's the 2nd trailer & in being as honest & as objective as one may need to be. I still don't see how this is either an amazing looking movie, nor does the trailer seem all that enticing.
Seems to just be, "special" girl is enough to kick bad guy aliens arses & is guaranteed to do so...

Plus that it's essentially a prequel, means it's all a rather foregone conclusion from the outset. We know she'll make an appearance in the next Avengers film.
So any suspense in regards to her predicament is a moot point.

All the feminist issues aside, this Brie Larson is the most charmless actress since the Twilight one. This is the beginning of the end for MCU's commercial success, I reckon.

Yep, all they have left is an Avengers / X-Men conflict / coalition based film/s.
Yet fair bet they'll botch that at this rate.

The CGI at the end of that new trailer looks like an early video game cut scene. It's as bad as Black Panther. But that made over a billion so I guess no one cares...

They turned Samuel L Jackson's Fury into a sissy so that Brie could appear more gurl powah.

Talk about cutting your nose to spite your face.

Now, now. It demonstrates character growth.

I still have no desire to see Captain Sourpuss just because Brie Larson is not really convincing me, then again I think the MCU has ruined filmmaking. I'd love to open a beer to see an MCU film tank. MCU fans generally don't take bad news well for the fact that

1) A safe space was given to them for what happened at the end of Infinity War
2) They lost their shit over the DCEU film, Suicide Squad, winning an Academy Award for Hair and Make-up. I mean people swearing and sobbing FFS over a film winning an Academy Award
3) They attack any franchise that dares to do the shared universe concept differently and constantly, even against any Marvel film not part of the MCU claiming they "don't get it right" which is code for "it doesn't meet my expectations, so it's bad"

The film bloggers will slam anything different by writing Top 10 Lists of why films are terrible and are also like people at Rotten Tomatoes. It's really scary sometimes because these dicks (read: grown children fanboys) are making studios react too damn much. I wouldn't be surprised if some crazed fan from a franchise they hate gets tired of the crap and goes nuts on them. I'm talking about places like Collider.

Enough ranting for tonight.

Brie Larson may be the next example of a Mary Sue. If she is she can never compare to a Gary Stu.

Why Gary Stu's are superior to Mary Sue:

Once you hand over a movie to a fag director or SJW woman, you are guaranteed that the entire movie will be "bold" -- which means -- the director will trash EVERYBODY and everything. The goal is not to entertain people, but to flip the middle finger at every single person in the audience. The goal of every fag director is to say "fuck you" to the normies in the audience. Every normal entertainment technique, that makes the audience feel good and uplifted, will be subverted to make people feel low and creepy, then coated with a glossy paint of special effects so the unwary are lured into accepting it.

Satan uses every channel to beam poison and perversion into the minds of young men most especially.

By the way, I believe Wonder Woman did "not" do this. It was actually a pretty decent movie. It was still based on the love of a man and a woman, and the man was handsome and sacrificed himself to save others, standard healthy movie conventions. The woman was cute and lovable and heterosexual, she just had power. The director of WW is a pretty decent gal, married to a firefighter, so no surprise, she made a healthy movie.

Yet by undercutting the first Wonder Woman film in being a prequel, I'm surprised they'd so readily & willingly do the same thing to CM.

If the Skrulls are now a non-entity in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Why should I care, if it's a guarantee they're all dead / defeated?
If they retcon the MCU to feature Skrulls as a big thing all of a sudden post Thanos, I don't see how that helps matters either.

Not that I'd be surprised in the slightest if they begin to lose the plot with marketing & storytelling.

Even in the highly politized times we're in.
I wonder which version of this character would have been more popular & marketable...?

Imagine the meltdown if Marvel came on the screen looking like that first pic. You'd have feminazis screaming in the streets...and every young male lining up to buy a ticket.

As an aside, and speaking of something of a hobbyist artist myself, all those poor starving comic book artists must be holding a razor blade to their veins every night after being forced to produce work like that boy-chested dyke in the second pic.

That first pic though? Great love, care and attention went into every curve and detail, I guarantee it. And it shows in the final product, just like we'll see in this film when it comes out.

What's with the Captain title? The original Captain Marvel is a man

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Marvel_(Mar-Vell)

Bitch should be called Miss Marvel (or Mrs. if married)
Again, the original, unsubverted version:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ms._Marvel
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Danvers

PS you'll note searching for these on Google or Wikipedia gives you the current SJW versions. You have to actually search the history to find the good wholesome (or at least traditional, All-American) 60's versions of the characters.

Now even more oddly, in misguided Marvel marketing.
No sooner does the 2nd Captain Sourpuss trailer fail to set the world on fire, they've released the first trailer for Avengers 4: Endgame (Infinity War 2).

With Captain America rather prominent.

Captain Marvel who...?

not misguided...they know that Captain Soccermom is a dud. They are all groaning quietly and gritting their teeth as they watch it. they'll try to use A4 to pull it along.

For an actor Tom Holland is very athletic. He's posted videos of his training regime he did for the Spiderman films doing some impressive gymnastics moves.
