The hate on Toronto/Vancouver

First thread here.

After much lurking I've noticed that many Canadians seem to hate on Toronto and Vancouver, stating that the city sucks, the average girl is one that is a 6 behaving like a 9, pretentious, materialistic and shallow etc. Kinda reminds me of Australian girls which is what I have also gathered from this forum and my own experiences.

However when I was in Toronto I seemed to have an amazing time, all the girls I met seemed to be super friendly (even guys actually), talkative and responsive. I even managed to bang one girl a few times in the couple weeks I was there.

Is there more of an appreciation for Australians and foreigners from other Western countries in Canada or even North America as a whole? I'm curious to whether or not North Americans would get the same treatment here from Australian girls. Every one I've met here is always more interesting to talk to but I wonder what it would be like from a female perspective.

Anyone have any experiences as an Aussie in North America or a Canadian/American in Aus?

The bad times in Toronto for me outnumber the good.

But I'm at the stage in life and in experiences here where I don't get too high or low.

But from my experiences some guys just shoot themselves in the foot and leave themselves behind the 8 ball from the get go.

I was out Saturday night and this guy had a dance with a girl. She was done and wanted to walk away.....thirsty guy kept following her through the crowd and wouldn't leave her alone.

Then there was a a group of Indian guys.....geez do they ever do anything related to opening a girl at this particular club without rolling 5-6 deep? It's like a mob mentality from them. I constantly see girls get turned off fast and brush or even slap them away.

On the other hand there was this young white kid that shared the cab with me and 2 girls on the way back to their condo.

He like me rolled solo. Cheap ass mofo just walked out ....didn't even offer any $$ for the cab ride. Actually my girl was so polite she offered to e-transfer me the cab fare which I said no (your fine ass for the night is more than enough payment babes). I guess there are a few diamonds in the rough in t-dot.

I was like: "Damn thank goodness he's gonna have my girls friend for the night. .....I wouldn't wish her on my orst enemy much less have a friend be the wingman for her hideous looking ass while i take the better looking one lol. I guess taking her was his form of taxi payment. Ironically the girl I was with said he was ugly looking and said she'd tell her off in the morning.

A perfect match.....the gruesome twosome!

But what do you know? His reward from rolling solo...he ended up banging his first ever girl......he was actually a virgin, Lololol.

I respect him for getting out there alone.....I have better looking friends with all going for them that complain and whine about girls that wouldn't even fathom going out alone. One even last night he's in WAY better shape than me and like 15-20 yrs younger and was complaining about no matches of worth on tinder and bumble.

Genuinely curious to find out too. For all the divide they enjoy on the forum, the more I'm drawn to them. I've only been to Vancouver once when I was 16, but it felt like a northern version of my hometown (Melbourne).

I've done better with Anglo chicks than I'd give myself credit for, so Toronto should be fun. I'm rather tall for my race though, and of above average looks. I'm really not into Asian chicks, but even then, I think Van would have loads to offer. The white Canadians I've met while travelling have been on average better than Aussie birds.

Toronto sounds like one of those cities that really motivates you to become more than average, with hopefully a far greater ROI on that than Melbourne or Sydney.

Montréal would be promising too. I speak conversational French, and I've been told that with that, my background and style, I would clean up with Québecois sluts. [Image: banana.gif]

Most of the hate on threads are written by guys whose hate is actually self directed. It wouldn't matter which city they were in. (Sometimes an accurate description of a city can be found however with its +/-.)

As an example of whining hate on with no solutions offered, we had a guy called "Australia Sucks" pissing on Medellin women saying they were ugly.

As you may guess the bad attitude rides along with them in coach, and doesn't even chip in for the fare.

Welcome.

I think a Anglo guy can come to Toronto and have fun.

I'm older and not white. And the main thing with me I'm either too stubborn or just plain lazy to get on board with superficial attention whoring things like snapchat/IG.

And a lot of these broads are too lazy to commute any significant distance (in their minds) to see a man. Forget any hopes of a great sex life/ consistent steady stream of young pussy living in the burbs/905 land!

One broad recently I attempted to open after a friendly convo suddenly shunned me when I asked for her # with:

"You don't have IG....you must be 50 or something!" Lol.

I'll just have to live with once in a blue moon nights like Saturday.

Have all your bases covered here and there's hope.....these broads are mostly spoiled, pampered superficial. Especially downtown ones.

I don't care about race....I'll fuck any shade/nationality of women as long as they're 20 something and active at the gym. and I love Toronto for the diversity part here so it gets a +1 here from me.

Average to good looking white guys don't have as much of issue... if got the accent then you got a opportunity to do well.

No.....I've never closed a girl from there although made out with countless girls. It hasn't been good there lately. But I've seen some stunners there.

I remember one 30 year old blonde broad from Alberta opened me there a few months ago. Bimbo was rubbing her hands all over my dick on the dance floor. I was neither here nor there on her.

Tells me: "I find you hot.....but I've never been with a black guy"

Broad opens me and then has the audacity to tell me that bullshit. Heck i wouldnt have felt away if i was the one who approached her. Hilarious given I'd had one night fun with a hotter Albertan 10 years younger than her a few months earlier. She could hold that thought.....I surely ain't the one to help you overcome your racial insecurities.

Yeah..... its going so great yet your lonely ass is out here in the dead of winter seeking company, lol.

Most of these T.O. broads walk around here like they got holier than thou standards in men.

Extremely true.
I used to live there when i was younger.
Vancouver was good back in the 90's. Now certain areas of the lower mainland are majority Chinese/Asian (Richmond, Lougheed). Great if you like Chinese girls particularly but that's about it. The housing market is out of control and has been for 15 years because of the Chinese people buying up places and paying WAY above market value. Therefore the builders know they can get away with higher prices because of the over inflation.

Further east you have Surrey which is a shithole for all intents and purposes. It's is majority India/Pakistani and a bit or Arab/Persian mixed in. There is so much gang violence there, a lot of it doesn't make the news. If you aren't knowledgeable about the area, just don't go there. Especially if you're noticeably white, going after dark or looking for a place to party.

Never mind Toronto.
Every person not from Canada wants to live in there. Not to mention plenty of people i went to school with all wanted to live there.
It's attracts the lowest common denominator. That's why you see all the SJW/LGBT culture there in mass.
Avoid the place at all costs. Visit there if you're curious but living there will be a net negative for your life.
Montreal is a much better option.

“Alek Minassian was named by CBS News sources as the suspect who was arrested in connection with the horrific van accident. He is 25 years old. The suspect was previously known to law enforcement in Toronto, CNN reported. However, CTV has reported that Toronto police said Minassian was not previously known to them.

CBS sources later confirmed the photo of Minassian, as seen in the LinkedIn profile above. According to his LinkedIn, Minassian was a student at Seneca College in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada from 2011-2018.

Jonathan Dienst of NBC News reported that Minassian had allegedly researched and chatted online about the Isla Vista killings in California in 2014. The Isla Vista massacre occurred when 22-year-old Elliot Rodger killed six people and injured 14. He stabbed three men in his apartment, and then drove to a sorority house and shot three female students outside. Then Rodger drove to a deli and shot a male student, and then began driving through the city, shooting pedestrians and hitting some with his car. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Tom Winter of NBC News confirmed the report about his searching the Isla Vista massacre, saying that the report came from U.S. and Canadian law enforcement officials and was not based on any online postings.”

An incel who couldn’t get laid in Toronto just plowed down 9 people.

Maybe this will spark some sort of revolution in Toronto.

ausazn I found a similar thing visiting Toronto (didn't spend much time in there) but the vacation mentality is something that shines through...same shit when I first came to Vancouver....live there 5+ years and I DGAF how many Tony Robbins seminars (sarcasm) someone goes to your environment WILL change you.

The good news is there are plenty of foreign girls floating through these cities...just have to catch them

I think I did see that thread, honestly as an Aussie and specifically an Asian Aussie I must say I agree with alot of the Australia hate threads. Over the years its gotten much harder here to pull, atleast for me and my non-Caucasian friends. All my white Aussie friends have no problem, but thats because majority of Aussie girls are only into tall white dudes. If you plan to visit Australia don't waste my time with dating apps here, you're better off trying to meet girls out normally.

Also from Melbourne, Toronto gave me the same feeling.

Girls aside, Toronto seems to be a good city for food/nightlife like Melbourne, except for how they stop serving alcohol past 2am. I intend to go back this July/August for the summer, the reason I go is to see the my family there rather than to travel/game but that comes as a bonus. If I plan to visit Montreal how many weeks does anyone think is appropriate up there?

I've found that US and Canadian girls pretty much always love the Australian accent, like at an almost creepy level. Basically unless they've traveled enough to come across enough of us assholes to be put off they'll have this weird fascination. I've got layed on 3 different occasions in NA simply by saying "Car keys" for a girl and then not screwing it up (we say it like khaki shorts for them, of all the things). Can remember being in the Bahamas and we had a bunch of American girls literally ditch their trust fund babies that had brought them there and were paying for everything for them to come roll with us in the pleb sections instead.

The accent is a genuine +2 for us in that region. Like anything, it wont make up for a lack of game or other elements and you'll work as hard there as anywhere else because the women are just a lot of work compared to other cultures but it's always nice to have a head start.

Can't say anything for the Canadian cities, just not a place that has ever really appealed to me to be honest so it's very low on my destinations list but from everything I know about the place and everyone I've ever met who has lived in both, Canada is basically just cold Australia and Australia is basically hot Canada.

OP - being a tourist and from Australia, is not something girls run into everyday. So you passing through would be a good time.

Now if you moved here and lived here, well that is a different story.

I was intrigued to visit Vancouver to see what it's like in terms of girls, partying and fun given I've never been out West in Canada. A visiting girl a few years ago I met one night told me hardly any guy out there looks like me.

But it seems like a waste when the majority of women there are Oriental and Indian....the 2 groups I have a combined 1 lay in my entire life (and the one Oriental was because my friend literally served her to me on a platter lol).

Oriental women (Filipinas exempted) want status guys I find....they didn't go to University to end up dating a average blue collar Joe like me.

Indian women more than pretty much every other background generally do NOT mess around outside their diaspora. I see some real bad assed ones at the local gym....I think my only slimmer hope is there....when they aren't surrounded by 2 or 3 of their guys which is often.

And it sounds like vancouver life is even more expensive than here which is hard to believe as its pricey enough as it is already.

Yeah you could do more yoga, kombucha, kale, cryotherapy, coconut oil, chief hikes to fit in with a bunch of vapid trash that can't hold a conversation about anything other than the above or
a.stop trying to piss up a rope & focus on the non locals
b.travel to places or even leave & go where the rewards are much greater

I hear people say BS like "If you can make it in Van you can make it anywhere blah blah" and it isn't the truth at all. I've seen first hand places with way hotter women (plus less plastic looking) that respond to much more natural behavior........ie not acting like Patrick Bateman (or on the other spectrum some backwards cap/roid/tatt bro) to get laid.

Don't waste your life trying to "improve" to try to appeal to this shit! Follow what makes you happy

If by "there" you mean Australia, I think that poster in question either failed with basic white Aussie beach chicks, or just has contempt for them, or both.

N.B. I'm not white, neither is the OP.

Having said that, I've had a fair enough of receptiveness from Canadian birds of all races where I am currently (SEA), and ran into loads of them while backpacking Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam not too long ago.

Maybe Asian dudes with Australian/NZ/British/European accents are that much of a novelty in Canada that they particularly do well there?

I realised that I'd have zero exotic factor in Vancouver, it'd be a nice place to check out but I don't intend to live there and contribute to the insane gentrification.

Having ditched the Anglosphere lately, it might seem rather odd to set my sights on one of the apexes of Anglosphere locations that draws the manosphere's ire, but I'd see this as refreshing my game by jumping back into the deep end.
