You've touched on something a bit deeper here, Cadders.

The heart of third wave feminism was rooted in the ideal that if they destroyed masculinity that the streets would be safe to walk and that the world would be cured of all aggression. In short, they seemed to truly believe that they would never need protectors again.

What they've achieved is to destroy masculinity in the men that used to protect them, but the traditional aggressors of the criminal underworld and 3rd world immigrants are (whodathunkit?) not getting with the program.

I think part of that terror, that rape hysteria so many of them seem to be suffering with is a primal realisation that they've banished their menfolk but the barbarians still roam the woods. Sadly most of them are too proud or stupid to turn back and repent. Their high priestesses (celebs) living in their sheltered and protected castles demand ever greater acts of faith (hold up those refugee welcome signs or you're dead to us!) when in reality what we're witnessing is something akin to the slow motion mass suicide of a huge cult.

I disagree with you that these women need to be reached. The last election in the US showed that these women aren't required, and reaching out to them only grants them the illusion of power that feeds their ego-driven movement. What we need is to bring men to masculinity, and accept only the penitent feminists that are willing to crawl back and beg for forgiveness.

There was a "solidarity" march in my City. I was on the way home with a trunk full of groceries and a girl who knew how to cook them. Stopped at the light there were marchers streaming back to their cars. The first one was a tranny in pink with a feather boa. I looked at my girl cocked and eyebrow and said "that's a woman". She looked back and repeated my words in disbelief. I had a good chuckle and continued back to my place.

You know, aside from the obvious hypocrisy, there is a latent, even more profound hypocrisy with this march.

Yesterday, I was shopping for a trimmer to trim my beard. I went to a shopping area with lot of big box stores like Target. Next door was a store called Ulta, which only sells beauty supplies. Well, i struck out finding any trimmers but it was eye opening to see an entire store dedicated to selling overpriced makeup. and it was in teh middle of a shopping district built mostly for women to buy other products, like clothes, all designed to enhance their appearance for me.

so when this protest is over, those women will go home, but the giant make up store will be doing a brisk business. a protest march can't change basic human biology and psychology (Bruce Jenner notwithstanding).

This was a massive march of Iranian women when the Islamists forced them to wear a Hijab in 1979.
