I'm quite pleased at the size of these marches - they are likely to provide us with a litmus test of of how far and how fast the culture is changing and it's direction of travel.

Consider; we can make a very strong case that we are where we are as a society due to the influence of women. How did women exercise that influence? Firstly be influencing their menfolk to make changes to the laws and mores that benefited women over men, and then by using those laws and mores to influence politics to benefit women even more. All at a cost first to men, and then to children. I don't give men a free pass on this either - this would not have happened if men had not allowed it.

But they've overplayed their hand. The women on these marches are unhappy but they can't articulate why, they are angry but they can't agree about what, they 'feel' bad can't explain how.

The real reason underlying all this is that the cost of all their 'success' is now being passed on to women. In undermining men and masculinity they have ripped asunder everything that gives a women's life purpose - at least for most, healthy women; family, community, meaningful service to others. None of these things can happen if men are not on board to provide the frame for them to flourish in. Increasingly, sometimes intentionally, sometimes not, thanks to the world feminism has built, men as a group are are unable or unwilling to provide this frame - which makes men an easy target for feminists to attack but only serves to make more men scale back their provisioning.

In the past women would turn to their men, or the government for help. But now fewer and fewer women have, or are able to find, a man invested enough in them to care. And women's fallback provider for so, so long - Big Daddy Government - is now led by a man that understands how impoverished it really is, and has little time for any groups (men or women) that cannot add value, let alone any groups who look to come sucking at it's teat.

The size of these marches is, to me, indicative of the scale of the fear and uncertainty that women, as a group are now feeling. For all our mocking of the snowflakes who are in tears about Trump, I believe for many their fear is genuine. For the first time in decades, large numbers of women are finding they have no one to turn to.

Think about it - these marches are really all the liberal left has left, to use women - for decades their most useful idiots, the ones that they have used so many times to push their agenda - and to use them in huge numbers.

What happens next will be a signpost to the future. If these huge marches, using the most potent force the left has, fail to effect any meaningful change then we shall know. The liberal left will be spent - for now. And so far, I'm not getting a sense that these marches have changed anything. Rigby is right - we cannot rest on our laurals. These women are ours for the turning - they will flock to those who can give them what they really crave - proper guidance, a safe frame to women. We cannot waste this chance.

We already know that to a women, the sexiest word that a man can speak is 'no'. Well now we have a US president who is not afraid to use it. We need to do the same or all of Trumps sacrifices will have been for nothing.

Bottom line is, multiple generations of women have been surrounded by weak men, and don't know why they resent them for giving them everything they've asked for. Women, like children, need to hear no, and often. They just don't know that they need "no", nor do they understand why.
