Hey everyone, excuse my super-noobness for a minute,

21 year old college student, virgin, never kissed a girl, been on a couple lame dates. I've kind of despaired of ever finding a person to have a lasting relationship with (not sure if my fear is justified, I won't get into my various worries/insecurities, valid or invalid here), so I've been thinking a lot about just dating girls and having sex. Obviously it will feel good physically, but finding a girl, going through all the trouble and time of gaming her and then cutting her loose after you sleep with her seems like such a sad, empty, and pointless thing. Am I correct in that assumption, or do I just need to get laid?

P.S. Given my extremely conservative and religious family and friends, I run the risk of being ostracized or even disowned and cut off financially by practicing game, so I need to make sure the risk is worth the reward.

Cut it off if you don't plan on using it. Waste of morning boner.

Unless you find a unicorn and sail off into the sunset you will need game to prepare you for what life will throw at you.

I've seen countless friends get ruined through child support / divorces / crazy broads.

Learning game is mandatory for any man in this day and age, the same as learning how to defend yourself and cooking.

Game doesn't have to mean just plowing through broad after broad, it could mean sticking to long term relationships or keeping a successful harem of women who are into you.

Regardless it is a skill that will pay off ten fold, not only in just your sex life.

Stick around and work on the things that you feel are holding you back, it will pay off.

It's also okay to want to have a lasting relationship, that's perfectly normal, albeit the success rate depends on alot of factors.

You've got to first start being able to communicate with girls properly in order to get dates to have sex.

Gaming her and the hunt is the fun part, figuring out if she's worthy of your time can be difficult.

You aren't correct in your assumption, it isn't sad, empty, or pointless. It also depends on what you're looking for.

Thanks for the responses! Well, of course there's all the more typical insecurities guys like me have, such as fear of failure, fear of not being good enough for a girl, rejection, not feeling very attractive blah blah blah.

As for religion, I'm Catholic. And not just Catholic, I was raised just about as traditional and strict Catholic as you can get. You gotta understand, if you get an erection and enjoy it, that's considered a sin worthy of hell (outside of marriage, of course). Naturally, this is something I've always been skeptical of. This is not to say I don't believe any of my religion at all (for example, I'm convinced God exists,) but I'm at the point in my life where I'm wondering if anything I've always believed in is true. This is not helped by the fact that my ridiculously strict and prudish parents have kind of made me want to rebel just to be different from them (they still have a lot of control over my life, though not as much as when I was younger). Anyway, I feel very unsure of matters of truth, spirituality, and morals, and I feel that girls will sense my unsureness and inconsistancy. This isn't bad for hookups of course, but I fear it would be poison for a relationship. I know that may sound retarded, but it's a very real concern of mine. If I didn't have to worry about repercussions from those close to me, it would be easier to sort out.

Afterthought: of course, it would be optimal to find another Catholic girl similar to myself, but they're extremely scarce where I live. Also I can't help but feel from my limited experience that it's really freakin hard to game really conservative religious girls because it's so hard to be alpha enough that they don't friend zone you, but not so bold that you scare them and make them go into autorejection. I feel like the fine line is very fine, and outside my capabilities at the moment.

Game is absolutely worth it. I learned game in my early 20's, then found religion and married.

Game is the art of self improvement, and increasing your SMV. Confidence, health, strength, all are increased. There is growing pains, but the day you ENJOY walking up to a woman, flirting with her a bit and asking her out, you are going to see success. Some men use game to get a quick lay, that doesn't have to be a necessary step though. After finding religion, I used game tactics to find that "unicorn". Sex was out of the picture, but I still batted away shit tests, dated lots of women, played them off of each other, and had a blast doing it. Even now being married for 14 years, I use things that I learned back then. I still have to deal with shit tests, I seduce my wife, I maintain control in a non-confrontational manner.

My grandpa was a lady's man, although faithful to his wife, he flirted with the waitress, teased, and razzed my grandma all his days. Life is short, have fun.

Game is NOT the practice of finding a girl to bang and then "cutting her loose after you sleep with her." Game is the skill set that can give you the option to do things like that. It's all about options. You can just as well use game to find a high quality wife. And if you do it well, it will be harmlessly perceived as your natural personality, rather than a deliberate attempt to practice game.

Other factors that determine whether "game is worth it.

your height, your weight, race/ethnicity, your looks, social skill, and the city you live in.

maybe your better off getting a girlfriend first and actually learning the nature of women. After that you have some experience you can decide what you want to do in terms of women. Gaining first hand experience is key, and getting your first girlfriend and having a healthy sex life is a start. Building some natural confidence and charisma will also be essential.

This is the red pill, to say that this factors don't matter is completely oblivious to reality. A man's height for example any man under 5 "9" in a western country will have a harder time then his counterparts that are 6 foot and above. But regardless you will still find short guys that are successful. Your weight: A healthy body weight will attract more women then being scrawny or overweight/obese. That's common sense. But regardless you can still find a few fat guys that have some confidence/charisma or are good looking that pull women.

Social skills: Is the individual a extrovert or introvert. What's the level of self confidence, and charisma of the individual. The rest yeah you already know.

Thanks for the responses. For anyone who wants to know, I'm 5'6", 140 pounds, white, good looking (i think), good social skills except when in comes to actually trying to get girls, and I live in West Chester PA.

First, InjunJoe, welcome to the forum.

Second, I sympathize with your religious misgivings, having grown up in a family with mixed Catholic and Protestant inclinations. It is not easy (maybe not even possible) to reconcile your interest in getting laid with the more prohibitive tenets of your faith. That said, I encourage you to read this thread started by Samseau in the Deep Forum, weigh the arguments being presented, and make up your own mind. Additionally, I remember enough of the Bible to encourage you to keep this in mind, should you ever feel too down on yourself when considering the subject:

Third, there is no reason you cannot have that fulfilling relationship you so desire. Game imparts you with the techniques and mindset you will need to fortify and strengthen that relationship. (Indeed, the great irony of our time is that game is more mindful of women as humans than the entire plenum of modern feminism is.)

Fourth, and finally:

Learn game.

InjunJoe, you are a young man and the path ahead of you is your own to decide. As you journey along that path, it would benefit you tremendously to know how to approach a woman with a spirit of playfulness and confidence rather than anxiety. You need to know how to charm, intrigue, and arouse a woman - how to make her laugh, how to capture and hold her attention as easily as breathing, how to interest her effortlessly and yet so deeply that thoughts of you waft around in her mind before she goes to sleep. You need to know how to give her the kind of kiss she will tell her girlfriends about, how to hold her in a way she, perhaps, hasn't realized (or admitted to herself) she wanted to be held. Basically, how to be the kind of man that cuts through the bullshit our poisoned society is telling her about real men, and speaks to her more instinctive understanding of what a man really is.

I can't tell you whether you should pursue beyond that. Should you go for the bang? Only you know the answer.

But I can tell you that running even a bare minimum of game has given me more success with women in two years than I ever knew listening to feminist pablum about "how a real man should act." The numbers I've pulled, the kisses I've held, the sex I've had - they aren't everyday occurrences by any means (life is sadly busier at 30 than it is at 21), but I look where I am in comparison to many other men I know and I'm a damned rock star. And I feel deeply, humbly indebted to Roosh and this community. You would be wise to heed what they tell you.

I don't regret a second of the time I've spent learning game, and if you set out on this path, I don't think you will either. I think you will come away from it with a more intimate understanding of yourself and a much improved awareness of female nature.

Far from a game denialist but im definitely a realist not a idealist. I have a understanding of human biology and I grew up around players that never needed a internet forum to "game women". Ive been talking to women since kindergarten, and Ive taking the advice of men that of done unbelievable things with women. Being a player was just the tip of the iceberg, I spoke with men that were pimpin women for real. I'm just pragmatic and believe in creating strategies that can increase the probability of success with women. I don't let my ego interfer with reality as well. If you read what I posted earlier I debunk the whole tall handsome only gets laid bullshit. But were all products up for grabs on the dating market, and we have to accurately market/sell ourselves to the opposite success. Ive seen some amazing things when people do things the right way.
