I would normally think her apparent bad health meant she could be a ringer to get a VP with baggage into office, intending from the start to resign and let him take the presidency. Except Hillary is such a fucking shitty candidate that makes no sense.

She looks like a glitching robot in that gif. Maybe Marcobot isn't alone.

I wish I could've been there for this. Most of the supporters took his humor pretty well, even Alex Jones tolerated him to a point.

I'm a huge Eric Andre fan so I hope he's not involved in partisan politics and trolls the DNC just as hard

Half the time this guy was just being an obnoxious asshole. The tranny bathtub thing was funny but the rest was annoying.

What are the rules?

The rules are, they place the Hillary skin on a new lizard, zip it up and get the old lizard to a lizard hospital, pronto.

TLOZ made a great point about Trump's psychological anchoring. As perceptive as usual. With this relentlessly fierce speech, Trump has managed to overshadow all the recent crazy and exciting developments during the RNC to firmly anchor his serious candidacy and unfiltered platform in voters' mind. Some of them may remain undecided now, but they will see upcoming events in light of that anchor and start adjusting, and as an effect of anchoring-as-adjusting, they will gradually come closer to his position.

This is A+ persuasion that escaped Scott Adams. He thought the anchoring has finished long ago and now is purely time for the third act. But in reality due to media distortion and people's lack of care for the primary, many voters were not exposed, or exposed very limitedly, to the real Trump and his platform. With this speech they witness for the first time the full, unfiltered force of nature that is Trump - and Trump excellently took this opportunity to execute his anchoring.

I don't agree with TLOZ's use of the word "yelling" though. I'm not sure what is the right word for it, but Trump's powerful, high-energy, high-volume speech had a definite firmness to it, which distinguishes it from mere yelling. He uttered almost every word with a precise, definite pronunciation, correct to a T with every silent sound - and the pacing was for the most part unhurried, firm and tempered with very proper weighty stressing. He roared, relentlessly but firmly. This is an important point because it contributes massively in casting him as a serious, sane and measured candidate of law and order, rather than a raving maniac and a wild card. Just watch him declare "I am the law and order candidate" - it sounds utterly convincing!

Regarding Trump's chance, if we are to say that the polls indicate Trump's serious non-underdog status, then we should not say Clinton's lead in the poll is not real because the polls don't matter at this point. However, there are indeed other signs to rely on:

Yes. Even the liberals had to concede how the speech was a game-changer.

There is one article on Salon that made many accurate assessment outside of the casual dismissals. It confirms some of TLOZ's points too:
Quote:Quote:

After that diabolical, masterful performance, Donald Trump could easily end up president

It’s not OK that the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump as its presidential candidate. That clearly suggests that reality has stripped a gear and we have careened off into a deeply stupid alternate dimension that resembles a 1980s straight-to-cable sequel to “They Live.” It was definitely not OK to be inside Quicken Loans Arena as Trump accepted that nomination, giving a speech that was sometimes profoundly awkward and went on much too long but was also — it’s always better to face the truth — a masterful display of demagoguery and manipulation.

From the ashen, haunted faces around me in the press gallery, and the conversations over hastily guzzled drinks before and after, I feel sure I wasn’t the only person here who felt as if he were suffering from PTSD, sunstroke and a stomach virus, all at the same time. Still, it was an educational bout with the existential flu. Anybody who still thought Donald Trump was a joke and a dumbass who would humiliate himself and his party go down to Mondale-scale defeat now knows better. You can pick Trump’s speech apart and examine its flaws, of course, but from the point of view of performance and dynamics only one verdict is possible. He killed it. He. Killed. It.

Michael Moore said the other night on Bill Maher’s show that he now thought Trump would win the election, and that feeling has been sneaking up on me for months now. There are valid statistical and demographic arguments that suggest otherwise. My colleague Amanda Marcotte has been asking all week: What states, or what groups, does Trump win that Mitt Romney didn’t? That’s a conversation for another time. But if Hillary Clinton does indeed defeat this guy, it’s gonna be a nail-biter.

In a few different ways, Trump’s acceptance speech hinted at the traditional pivot toward the center expected of a nominee moving into the fall election. He said the word “wall” just once — it will be a “great wall,” of course — and alluded only indirectly to his infamous proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States. He made headlines by uttering the appellation LGBTQ twice, very carefully, and then congratulating the crowd for not booing at his assertion that citizens in that category had rights. He said “Latino” twice, instead of the more Republican-friendly English word “Hispanic.”

Trump described himself as a Republican just once, during an acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention. He never used the word “conservative” at all. Go ahead; pull up the transcript, hit control-F and type it in: 0 of 0. Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney would be spinning in their graves, if they were dead, and right now they wish they were.

Trump also signaled clearly that he knows where Hillary Clinton’s vulnerable spots are. He attacked “nation-building” and “regime change,” central elements of bipartisan foreign-policy dogma for the last 20 years that have been variously implemented by Bush-Cheney neoconservatives and Obama-Clinton liberals. He attacked free trade in general and Bill Clinton’s disastrous NAFTA deal in particular. Watching a Republican nominee vow to avoid overseas wars and shut down free-trade treaties is vivid proof that the membrane of history has been punctured and we’ve gone sloshing through it, covered in amniotic fluid, into some “Man in the High Castle” reality. As someone in my Twitter feed observed earlier in the day, we won’t hear those promises next week in Philadelphia.

But you don’t need me to tell you what Trump said, or how well it was calibrated. What you might not have felt on TV was the level of emotion flowing from the crowd to its Dear Leader and back again, which at certain moments hit a 7.5 on the Nuremberg scale. When he got the crowd wound up into chanting “Lock her up! Lock her up!” — which was about Clinton’s foreign-policy record, not the email scandal — and then smiled his Cheshire-cat smile and said, “Let’s defeat her in November,” it was like watching a maestro conduct an orchestra. OK, kind of a crappy pops orchestra in someplace less cosmopolitan than Cleveland, but still...

The rest of the article is mostly liberal masturbation based of Laurie Penny's recent review of her visit of Milo's Gay Conservatism party - which I have commented on here.

Man, you can just see the cognitive dissonance run in that pro-pedo Salon article.

You can see that the special snowflake agrees with many of Trump's policies - "disastrous NAFTA," "bipartisan foreign policy dogma."

Snowflake just can't get around to supporting Trump because he's like..."racist," and "Nazi."

That's why his voice tone is problematic for some, and why his children are so powerful, because they're going to be that "reason why" to support Trump.

It's off to everyone. If you watch it from the back angle, the woman with the curly hair pulls back in shock and asks "are you okay?"

I posted the video on a mostly liberal forum and a few (out of nearly 100 comments) pointed out that it probably wasn't a seizure, but even they thought it was an extremely weird thing for a person to do.

The second series of head movements looks like someone trying to be funny -- the initial movements look strange as fuck to anyone but the most biased Hillary shill.

People come away from that video thinking she either has a physical health issue or a mental health issue.

So the convention is done and the most insane thing that seems to have happened was Melania's speech

That my friends is a blessing. No violence, no black lives matter shootings, no police stompings, no false rape accusations, no lynchings (I'm sure democrats are flabbergasted)

All you have to do is remember trump's chicago and california rallies to realize that the potential for crazy shit in cleveland was very high but there was none.

Well done attendees, well done cops and a little Tim Tebow praising jesus in the endzone appreciation that it went so smoothly.

The upcoming Democratic Convention in Philadelphia will be very interesting to see what will happen due to the #DNCLeaks.

DNC is collaborating with the MSM, social media & search engines (i.e., Google) by trying to control the flow of information that is damaging the party's credibility. Voters will no longer trust them.

I'm sure there will be protests and riots at the DNC Convention in Philadelphia.

Is there a new thread created yet for the 2016 Democratic Convention?

Is it a blessing, though? A protest where the protesters come across like absolute cunts, caught on video assaulting innocents, waving Mexican flags... crazy shit, completely unprovoked, maybe a little looting and/or structural damage?

On one hand it would've taken away from the good vibes and messaging coming out from their convention. But on the other hand, it would have reinforced the lawlessness of these people and strengthened his claims as the desperately-needed "law and order" candidate.

I 100% believe the BLM leaders or whoever got orders, down from on high, to cut the shit out that week since it'd hurt more than it helped. So I'm a little disappointed; it would've been bad in the short term, surely, but in the long term I think it would've benefited Trump.

Well hopefully we get lots of Mexican flag-waving in Philadelphia.

Yes a blessing, violence isn't good for anyone on a moral level and on a political level if there were violent protests from the usual suspects it would have been the same response in the news

"trump caused this"
"trump is racist"

the news would have shown just the protest violence and zero of the actual speeches or goings on in the RNC.

DNC will be interesting though, if the bernouts show up.

edit: Cleveland chief of police also agrees on blessing

Trump, pure class on that call.

It doesn't matter what she was "trying" to do.

The point is that it looked weird to anyone that watches it. That's why the woman interviewing her jumped back in alarm and asked Hillary if she's okay. That's why there are at least a dozen copies of the video on Youtube.

We don't need Scott Adams to explain it to us. Simply look at the number of times the video has been posted around the internet and the overwhelmingly one sided reaction in the comments.

By the way, the videos are being aggressively taken down by Youtube. It also looks to be censored from every subreddit other than r/The_Donald and a few other fringe ones.

Again, it does not matter what the video IS. It matters how people PERCEIVE the video. And it's not positively.

I'm trying to remember. What are there, six different types of seizures? At a stretch, it resembles the one that hits motor movements but means it is only is evidenced in her neck, and she still retains enough control to hold it up, rather than it drooping to her chest. She's also strangely-lucid after the 'attack': not distressed, not confused, not stunned, not crying, still in complete command of what she is really doing: theatrically-avoiding a line of questioning she clearly doesn't want to answer by attempting to use humour.

I spent years working with women like her in the public serivce. That's just how they interact: everything is insincere and over-exaggerated, particularly niceness and gregariousness.

All that is happening: she's was surprised by a question from a reporter in her extreme peripheral version that she didn't previously-notice, and exaggerated that surprise to deflect the expectation of an answer. Not the immediate follow up with a trite diversion about the Chai Latte. All this is: No, I'm not answering your question.

Harping on this as 'evidence of her unsuitability for office' makes the Right look very, very stupid, and discredits the mountains of very real evidence the Right can present about her corruption and criminality in the minds of Moderates.

That's probably this meme's true intention.

I'd be very interested to see where this 'seizure' meme originally-originated, given that we know her camp has paid subversives working social media attempting to control the dialogue about her. Mostly likely it's from either of the Chans: the homes of disinformation and obsfucation, always making truth that much harder to detect.
