25 is longer than the kid has been alive. Even just the trauma of being a murderer and going to jail for 1 year I'm sure he would not make that mistake again.

One thing to keep in mind is how many Oxycodones she took. If she didn't have an opiate tolerance, and she took all 5 five with a bunch of crown royal, she could have easily stopped breathing. That's generally what happens when you OD on opiates.

Well, the whole point of the justice system is to remove the emotion of immediate families from punishments meted out.

So I'd hope nobody took my opinion into consideration.


American gaol sentences are so ridiculous. Have any of you considered that it was the justice system itself that made the mother and son attempt to wriggle out of punishment?

I'd do my damnedest to avoid prosecution if I knew that I was going to serve 25 years for some consensual sexual play, gone wrong.
