I've met plenty of people who prefer this type of music.

RMR is essentially Pantera plus David Allen Coe. So it's a pretty hard hitting mix of metal and country.

I love listening to this song before I go out. Great pick me up and gives me a no fucks given attitude. As it states "a man with nothin' ain't got nothin' to lose."

It's interesting coming from a songwriter/musician/producer viewpoint.

I've been wanted to get more into country but modern country songs are so terrible, sappy, and rehash the same subjects over and over again. As a result, I've just been checking out some of the classics.

The Wheeler Walker Jr. stuff is funny but can't really get behind it because: a) mentions sucking dick too much b) the fact I know it is just a character and a ruse by a comedian c) too over the top and trying too hard.
