So you honestly think we should start a nuclear war just because they captured (and released right after) soldiers who were in Iran's waters? Think about that. I would absolutely Court Marshall the officers in charge for hazarding combat armed vessels and ordering their surrender - horrendous pictures and videos but to be expected from a Marxist Militant Feminist Administration doing everything in their power to turn our once proud Military into a socially engineered laughing stock.

The Officers in Charge of the Op should be Court Marshaled for putting these combat armed vessels and their crews in harms way without proper backup contingencies (A few F-18s Combat Air Patrol at the minimum). I would conduct a full Senate Armed Services committee review of this debacle as well.

Lastly I would seize this rock of an island and any more like it as a clear hazard to 5th fleet operations. I would become very aggressive to any Iranians operating in the Persian Gulf - their Supertankers are as vulnerable as everyone else's operating in the Gulf. At a minimum every one of their vessels small and large would be inspected for treaty sanctioned Nuclear materials and parts at a bare minimum.
