Vancouver or SF for a Thu/Fri/Sat fly back sunday trip? Middle of September

Ive never been to Vancouver so something new but felt rush on my past memorial day weekend trip to SF. Didnt try any of those food trucks, didnt see Alcatraz, didnt get a chance to hit the nightlife.

Lets go with things to see as #1, nightlife swooping#2, food #3

mid september might actually be pretty good for nightlife in vancouver. All the girls are back in school and people go hard for the first few weeks of school. If youre willing to hang out in a shitty bar watching sports highlights for a few hours you can get in on the drunken mess that is the first pit night at UBC.

But like wc said, should be good timing with all the school kids back in Kitsilano/ubc. I haven't figured out the student hang outs yet but I'll make sure to post em if I find em. Cheers

Leaving Vancouver sadly tomorrow morning after spending a week here under bluebird skies and perfect weather! This place is truly slept on and I saw nothing but tons of beautiful women everywhere and FIT as can be. No fat chicks really anywhere as the city has tons of outdoor activities to keep the body busy. The public transportation is great and even takes you to all the places outside the city to go hiking, nearby islands, etc.

I was here to really get away from the partying for a second and get my mind and body right, so I didn't hit the nightlife as hard as I normally would. However, cant keep this dog in the cage for long! Thanks for the recommendations from everyone who chimed in, I managed to go hiking in Lynn Canyon, biking all over the city the whole week including through and around Stanley Park, of course the Seawall, hiking/sightseeing Bowen Island, Kitsilano Beach, amongst a few others.

The talent was really out of this world during the day, and I'm not trying to hype. Fit, sexy chicks all over this fucking place. The parks on a sunny day, tons, the beaches (Kits, Third Beach, etc), abundant, riding around on the seawall it will sprain your neck. I'm definitely coming back. You could daygame the hell out of this place and I suspect its probably the strongest move for the hot white girls all over the city that I saw. I chatted up some cuties during the day, but my objective was more working out and enjoying all the outdoor activities this city and nearby geography offers.

I'm sure the # of chicks out is because its prime summer and the weather was great, but I dont go to places when the weather fucking sucks anyways. Gotta give props to Laner, who I linked up with and is a real cool cat. We went out a few nights/days, and he always pointed out great spots. Dude rolls with style too! Custom suits, pocket squares, the whole nine. My bag was packed more for beach destinations (where I'm headed directly next) so I couldn't even come close to him!

I really didn't put in a lot of work at all, only really going out two nights. The clubs in Granville and Yaletown seemed to be mostly filled with hot Asian chicks, who you dont see as much of during the day but they dominate the nightlife scene in those two areas I noticed. I like Asian girls and they tend to like me, so I'm all for it!

I had some family in town and met them one night and then on the walk home rolled into Killjoy and then Bar None for a nightcap. Was out for about 1 1/2 hours between both spots, and pulled two nice Asian girls. One was supposed to take a taxi to my place, and then flaked saying it was too far from where her friends took her. The other one met up with me and Laner the next day for a couple drinks before she bounced to some BBQ. I went with her to the beach the next day, brought a couple bottles of sangria and some beats, sushi, and back to my place. She was a hot little spinner who had done some modeling before (Chinese background), with a great body, and a freak. I had a lot of fun with her and she will go on the Vancouver roster for future visits.

Overall, for quality of a city overall it gets a FULL approval from me. Beautiful city, good food, hot fit chicks everywhere, tons of sports and outdoor activities, and decent to good nightlife. The nightlife may be even better, but I didn't dabble too much to proclaim to be the expert. I did pull though and the chicks were hot from what I saw.

The city is a little on the expensive side perhaps, but they offer a lot to me so its worth it. We popped bottles one night though at LED and it was only about $130/bottle which is not expensive at all. Other than that, cocktails were between $9-$12 for the most part.

Vancouver doesn't seem to get a lot of love, but its at or near the top of my favorite Canadian and even worldwide cities.

Great report Qwest, now that you've hit up all of the major Canadian cities are you gonna check out any second tier ones?

Certainly will, and will probably start with Quebec City or if winter rolls around before I get to it, will most likely be snowboarding at Whistler (more of an offshoot of Van I guess)

Good to meet ya Qwest. We had some good nights out for sure. Summer really does have a surreal quality to the lifestyle here. I swear a portal just opens up when the sun comes out and hot chicks just dive in and pop out here in Van.

You would not recognize the city in the winter. If you come for the skiing you will not be disappointed but goddamn where did all the fly girls go!

Visited Vancouver last weekend. First time in Canada and the environment felt different than I expected. We didn't check out too much beyond downtown but I'd say it's without a doubt much better than Seattle.

Saw many fly young asian girls, not much for white girls.

Will definitely return!

whats the street parking situation in / near downtown?

I plan on doing a Friday night-Sunday night stay. I wouldnt mind parking my car in a residential area friday night for free or super cheap and taking the train during weeknd and simply pick up car and head back to seattle airport sunday.

We paid $14 for parking from around 5pm til midnight. That lot wasn't overnight and when I asked "what if we don't come back by then", they said we'd have to wait til 5am to get the car...

There were parking garages that advertised being 24 hours but I'm sure they are much more than $14.

I'd say your plan is realistic but do some research for where you'll park. Probably best to pay for the cheap parking than take up some space in a residential area.

Would you be staying at a hotel downtown or something?

You could park along the Canada line somewhere, just make sure you're able to park there overnight and on all the days youre going sometimes residential spots have whack hours or rules.

I live in Seattle, Vancouver is a great city...but like Seattle filled to the brim with chest tattooed masculine women...sometimes they are even attractive underneath all of the sleeplike trendiness; sigh I just saw an attractive woman in a dress with a doorknocker septum piercing...blech. 2/3 women are tattooed and always feminists

Hey, the parking situation downtown is bleak (very expensive street pay parking until 10pm everyday of the week), but there are some streets that have free 2 hour parking. But this doesn't solve your problem, so I would suggest parking by Main Street Skytrain station (on Terminal street or surrounding streets), there should be no parking restrictions there (check first).

What are you doing in Vancouver? just visiting for partying or sightseeing?

sightseeing with little partying at night. I am getting a good rate at hyatt with company code. Also found Pacific Centre Shopping Mall 24 hour parking on the weekends for $6 which is about 2 blocks away from hotel

Hyatt is decent location actually. Burrard and Georgia. That would put you within one block of Robson street where all the shops are, it's basically an outdoor mall (great for daygame), and few blocks from Granville street (clubbing central). Also not far from the seawall and water.

Great you found parking. What dates will you be here? I live downtown and normally go out 2-3 times a week, although been taking a break recently. PM if you want some more detailed info or would like to meet up for a beer.

Tattoos on women are gross, makes me sick really. It's like they are trying to prove how unfeminine and trashy they really are, an outward sign of their rotten inside. Or maybe they are just following this stupid trend that's been going on. Luckily, in Vancouver, the large body tattoos are the mainstream of mostly just the hipsters, most girls still don't have them.

Yeah good location. Right across the street is a Cactus Club that has some hot women. 360 degree bar makes for some good logistics. Be sure to dress well though.

This doesn't sound like Vancouver at ALL. Most of that trash stays in Seattle, Thank God.

I just returned from a couple days in Van and I concur 100% with Qwest data sheet. There are plenty of slim feminine women in Van City during the summer time (the only time I've been). Whether these are tourists or not I can't say but downtown is full of attractive women.

The city has great logistics for strolling around downtown and doing daygame, hardly any sprawl like typical American cities. The skytrain has stops all over and makes the city easily accesible for a few bucks.

If anyone has been to SF before, how does Vancouver compare to SF? Do you guys have about the same number of East Asian women, or more?

I was thinking of going there one of these days for sightseeing and some day and club game, and I understand there are a shit ton of Korean and Chinese girls up there. I just happen to have a penchant for them, haha.

Also, I don't know if it was mentioned, but does anyone know any decently priced hotels to stay in near good spots for logistics, near clubs, malls, parks, bookstores, and things like that.

Any advice would be great.

reading vancouver threads to brush up for trip. A part of me is still so so on my hotel location
I plan on site seeing during day so dont care about day game. My night game will be mostly solo walk up caveman game as they are leaving bar/club.

Is granville street good for that ? (Bar/clubbing hopping) or do you walk right out and get a cab?
looking for an area where women walk from bar/club to home
If not then what area so I can do hotel/airbnb research
What are some good cougar bars/area's ? again solo

for those who are familiar with Chicago and Vancouver. looking for something like Rush/Wrigley

Most won't live downtown, so when they leave the bar/club it's going to get food somewhere on Granville St., or directly into a taxi and home.

It is possible to do some around food areas while girls are stuffing their faces with pizza or poutine. But just about every other drunk hockey bro that didn't meet any girls in the bar is also going to have the same plan. It can be kind of a shit show post 3AM downtown. You'd probably be better off between 1 and 3 chatting up girls and then dragging them for a quick drink in a pub or lounge if you don't want to be inside clubs.

Roxy is the standard busy cougar bar. Doolin's above the Cellar is kind of a crapshoot for who will be there.

I went to this place before I left a few months ago called fan club, lots of older people. Not sure what its like now you might wanna take a walk past that.

If I were you I'd take a quick walk through gastown and down Granville and get all the free tickets you can, get a bunch of stamps so you can go all over the place.
