I was in Tallin early last year and had full intentions on taking the 4 hr. bus ride to St. Pete. EVERY Estonian that I talked to advised against. I mentioned it to the bartenders at the Nimeta pub. One chick was a 10 and hadn't been social to me at all. Her demeanor completely changed, grabbing my hand and begging me not to go. She had sincerity in her eyes. The other girls were quick to agree. I told them I wouldn't go. She asked me 3 other times about it. Crazy shit. I'm blond w/ blue eyes and was warned to stay away. It was more that I'm from the U.S. but still. No pussy is worth and ass beating.....or worse.

Ukraine is also cheaper than Russia city-by-city (what is the proper word?) meaning Kiev is cheaper than Moscow, Lviv is cheaper than Novosibirsk, etc. It is also closer, meaning shorter (and often cheaper) flights, and the vibe in Kiev is more laid-back than Moscow; think Miami versus NYC.

Honestly I have no idea why tourists still go to Russia except when you really want to see Red Square and Bolshoy Theater. Visa thing alone would turn me off completely.

The impression I've gotten of Russia is that it is a mob-infested country where the most important thing is who you know and how much money you have. I can only handle corruption to a certain degree...

While some of you may be down for that sort of adventure, I think I'll stick to Western & Central Europe, and maybe the Balkans. Not really down to worry about having my head chopped off on video and have that posted on Youtube so that Russia can stay for Russians. Fuck that. If that's what Russia is the Russians can keep it!

You could try Belarus. Equivalent (or even higher quality) than Russia without the risk of decapitation. Say what you want about dictatorships with a secret police, but they do manage to keep things fairly peaceful and orderly.

Russia sounds like hell on earth to me. I'd rather go to the poorest country in Africa before I'd go to Russia. I read one guy's tale that he simply said "hi" to some guy in the street in Moscow and the dude cold cocked him. I guess being boisterous with random strangers in Russia is a big no-no. At least in Mali, people would be waving and happy that I came to visit their country. Fuck Russia. And it's a joke that they were given the world cup given all the skinheads and hooligans that show up at the games there. I feel sorry for non-whites who go there for the games not knowing what awaits them. I will definitely not be attending that one.

There is no comparison dude. Jesus. Africa compared to Russia? Fucking hell, spoken like someone who has never been to either.

If you are dark skinned or African, Russia is a dangerous place to be going. Just like Africa is a dangerous place for a white man to be going unless you are a white native and you know the place. Comparing Russia to Africa is like comparing the earth to the moon. The levels of poverty, corruption, crime and violence in Africa make Russia look like it might as well be heaven on earth.

I have been to Russia enough times to know that you need to be street smart if you want to avoid trouble. Loud, brash Yanks and Poms are asking for trouble there. At the same time, they are not going to take kindly to black men or dark skinned men hitting on their women. They have a habit of beating them senseless and then leaving them in the snow. I know a bunch of englishmen who were befriended by locals, only to be drugged, robbed and woken up on a shipping container that docked at a Finish port.

At the same time, I fucked my lungs out in that country and other than Latvia and Estonia, I have never seen hotter women in my life. Their women cannot be topped in either looks or their ways. Untouchable. Its an awesome place to travel too. You could spend 10 years there and not scratch the surface.

If you went there as a tourist and you are black, you wont have many problems. Go there as some mack daddy hitting up the bars and trying to fuck everything in a skirt and you are going to get your arse handed to you big time. You go there you show respect for their culture and you be tolerant of their outlook on life or you can expect to find trouble there.

If you cant handle yourself in Russia, I suggest you avoid Africa. Egypt, Morroco, South Africa if you are very careful, Botswana maybe. Kenya and Tanzania are stable at the moment? The rest of Africa? Make sure you have your will sorted out if you have any intentions of going off the beaten path

People ask about race because race does matter.

Blacks have a chip on our shoulder because we are generally unwanted by other races and we are at the bottom. There is a larger genetic and social rift between Blacks and non-Blacks. Asians are very open about this, which is why the number one rule for getting Asian chicks is "don't be Black".

I spent a couple of weeks in St Petersburg and really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful city and there are loads of gorgeous women all over the place who are generally quite friendly to foreigners - I also found the guys very friendly too. I didn't see any skinheads and didn't have any major problems there.

I did see a few fights at the bars, seems to be something of a national pastime, and one guy wanted to fight my friend but we managed to diffuse him.

Somebody mentioned the visa as a reason not to go, I think the opposite, most Eastern European cities are over-run with tourists on cheap Easyjet and Ryanair flights from Europe so the novelty of being foreign has diminished.

In Russia this is not the case, non of the budget airlines fly there and you have the additional time and expense of applying for a visa, the result is there are far fewer tourists and you're much more of a novelty.

I can't really comment on the racism as I'm white but I did recently meet a friend of a friend who is Indian and was living in Moscow for work. He loved it and was talking about all the gorgeous women he knew and was getting with whilst over there, he didn't make any mention about racism.

Really man? Are you implying that the "black contingent" is a detriment to the forum? We have been over this many times. Everybody's experience is different. It would be very ignorant to not realise that race is (SOMETIMES) a factor depending on what part of the world you travel to. There are many threads on how blacks, whites, latinos, and asians would do in a particular place.

Every Time I see a post like yours or someone black or supposedly black behind the computer I get sick. My main goal, and I am sure of many others, is to help each other focus on how to best game women from around the world. Whatever details that may help are welcome!
