I wanna rock my custom suit, but...

Months ago I got a Custom Suit made for myself, it's hella baddass.

However, I have not used it yet, because I just don't know where to. I'm only 21 years old and I have that feeling that CSs are for older-people venues?

Having recently read G's post on the pocket squares makes me even more excited, I want to test the power that CS + pocket square has to pull quality ass, adding my game of course.

I've seen dudes rocking a suit in places where its very casual, and the dude always gets the weird looks and comments, I haven't seen how the girls actually react to it though.

Any help?

There's really never a bad time to wear a custom suit, IMO.

Business events basically require one. As for casual stuff...

I'll usually rock one when I'm out on a more formal date with a girl (dinner/drinks) or even if I'm just out with friends. You'll be surprised what you can get away with. Try and think of places where the crowd will be more relaxed. If you can go to a place, post up and chill -- it's probably a good spot for a suit.

When I bought my first suit, I almost never wore it out because I always had some excuse about the venue not being formal enough or that I wouldn't blend in.

The weird looks and comments are part of the game. Always be classier than everyone around you. You'll stand out and make an instant impression.

Only place I'd feel weird is a dive bar. I know G himself reps up HOTEL bars as a great place to roll suited and booted.

Got a dope wedding coming up?

Perfect spot to get your feet wet (so to speak).

Yeah, I agree with above.

The only place I wouldn't wear a suit is a hard core biker bar. And I am talking only patched in members of the Hells Angels or Mongols etc.

That being said, I have wore Custom Suits in Gentleman's Clubs with HA or Mongols present and did fine.

Although, it is prudent to exit stage left when that happens.

I also wouldn't wear one in a 3rd world ghetto.

Other than that, you should be fine (even though 21 is pretty young...this is more 27 till the casket closes type Game.)

Not sure what city your in but hit up some charity functions.

Yes many cost money but if you contact the person putting on the charity function and say "you always enjoyed X charity and would like to spend sometime with like minded people and can only make a X donation for the ticket"

You will have to call more than one charity.

Custom suits KILL at charity function and almost there is always an after party at a lounge or a fully rented club.

Also consider your local chamber of commerce monthly event, I am ways able to pull a Pharm. sales rep, real estate agent or wealth manager( code of insurance sales woman at a bank) at one of those. Also you can get your name out in the local business community.

Another great tip. You are killing it on here.

Also:

Hit up art gallery openings or art parties.

Lots of fly girls, minimal comp (generally speaking), and people sophisticated enough to appreciate the well dress, dashing, mysterious playboy.

Also:

Hit up Polo matches in summer.

The racetrack.

But if you read what I write you know this already.

Yeah the charity thing is a great idea for a 21 year old. I would also target charity events put on by the "Junior" group, “Young” group, or the “Early professional” group. Those things are full of 24 year old chicks that might like his style. I go to a lot of these for work, so make sure to avoid the 50+ year old crowd with the money that all charities want. The "Junior" crowd does it more to play dress up than raise cash. Check out Modern Luxury's Charity and Social issue in your town; the bonus is there are pictures of past events (i.e. women) so you'll know exactly what will be there.

If you're already in a custom suit at 21, you can probably afford the events. But if not, don't worry. The great thing about high end suits is that they're an All-Access Pass to wherever you want to go. Go to any non-seated event about an hour late, and just walk in (women will be buzzed and chattier anyway). If your suit is tight, no one will question you because you look like you belong, better dressed than anyone already there. In the rare event anyone asks, you went out to make a call/friend with your ticket didn't show. Works everytime.

this is a great thing to do. i have been doing this for a few years now, and each time i have come away with new girls. shields are down and you always have an easy way to talk to girls and introduce yourself. that you're at this thing is already DHV and the suit will only add to your flare.

So I see theres alot of suggestions regarding the charity events. How do you come by across these events? Newspaper? Online? Im really ignorant and indifferent regarding these type of things.

Ha.

When you get a little older, these events find you.

But yeah, look online.

Most big groups, (an example) The Boys and Girls Club for instance, usually have a annual party for young people.

These are to recruit new volunteers and raise money. And also a place to network, dress up, and have fun.

Some heavy hitters go to these gigs.

Art society's many times have "quarterly socials".

I turn down more of these gigs these days than I attend.

They can also been goldmines of high quality rich girls in high heels and skirts.

I love these types of gigs. Tailor made for my Game.

Plus, for straight up game, try to figure out what industries attend/sponsor the event. I would recommend PR, Design, and Retail. The shallower the industry, the hotter the women. Don't go to Berkley Physicists Against World Hunger.

Someone should make a data sheet for charity events. I've considered doing charity work to help people and also fuck some girls but never a charity event like that.

I don't think any 21 yr old can pull off a suit unless you look a lot older.

I asked this on another style thread: I'm 17, what the fuck do I do? Right now I dress hipsterish.

I've started one, but it's still a work in progress.

I'm at alot of these things too, so I'll add to your sheet. Thanks for getting it started. People don't realize they're gold mines...but maybe that's why they're gold mines.

And about the 21 year old, I'd disagree somewhat; he's already custom so his gear won't look oversized and baggy and dumb like Hi, I'm Here for Interview Training and I Have my Dad's suit. The suit will look natural on him, the first obstacle overcome. Then, especially at a charity event, he's selling the sleek, well-dressed fellow fantasy to women 2-5 years older who are happy to be outside the traditional bar scene (who spent hours getting dressed up in stuff they don't get to wear often and paid to be there), so the venue is right.

Jeans, black or white v-neck, cool hair.

works really well with young girls/when you look young from my experience. Really short hair (1-5mm) works as well.
