Where do you want to go in 2012?

My job is ending this summer and I'll be taking a year off to travel everywhere. I'll create a separate thread as we get closer, but I'll be looking for dirty souls (like Ali) who want to team up for a few weeks at a time in places like Prague and DR to eat, drink and fuck women.

or if that doesn't work out I want to explore Canada, road trip through BC/Alberta or a Washington/Oregon/Cali trip.

In the summer I drove from Toronto to Vancouver. Getting out of Ontario took 2 days (I was principled about making it a Canada trip and not taking a short cut through the US). The Calgary to Vancouver portion (stopped a night in Kelowna) was one of the nicest scenary's I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing. I can imagine taking a longer trip in the interior would be great, and finding female tourists in the Okanagan's.

Also the girls in the Praries, Manitoba to Alberta (esp Saskatchewan) have a reputation for a reason about being freaks.

Kool kat, and he left with MANY good memories.

Brazilian guys will do well with local Colombian girls, just make sure you speak Spanish with a very thick Portuguese accent...Portunol..you know the drill.

Oh yeah, when asked why you are there, say you are there to visit a local soccer team that is inviting you to visit the country.....then be amazed as panties start to drop immediately!

I was considering Medellin myself during the winter in Brazil... but I was 'worried' that I had no Spanish, wouldn't be able to talk etc. And now Mixx says that it is BETTER to speak "Portunhol"... geez, that sounds amazing...

MR.GM: Let's talk about it, let me know your plans.

Yeah guys, sounds great.
Lets talk Amour, maybe we can plan something and meet Mixx to hit some hot Colombianas in Medellin..I want to finally know if they are really hotter than Brasileiras

Chicks need to be on rotation like a Netflix queue

I have been putting out "feelers" to my security-related employment folks about going to Colombia. It's looking like I can make the request and without jumping through extra hoops so I WILL make a Colombia visit. I will also make a Montreal visit.

Also on the radar is Cape Verde.

I'm down Smitty. I can't return to the states for the next 10 months due to taxes. By the end of March a year long trip will be economically viable, according to my bank account.

Ali-B always has, well, a plan B.[Image: dodgy.gif] Here is the travel forecast based on financial tiers:

Jan----->Straight to the DR
Feb---->live cheap and aggressively see employment

March----->Trip to Asmara, 3 months in China,
April------->then to the DR

May-----3 month warrior culture tour,2 weeks in Germany
June-----3 months in China, then to the DR

Everything after is financial bliss. After June Ill reemerge as RICK JAMES BITCH!!!!!Ill be able to do and go as I please, for a year and still have stake money to land somewhere and set up camp.

I came up with this forecast due to the volatile nature of my profession. My company just got bought out and the winds of change are sweeping across the desert.

All this of course is out the window if I can land a job in the OZ, Brazil,SE Asia, ect. I prefer to work and make and not party and spend.

After I graduate this summer, I've got my plans set on going over to the West Coast of the US for a few months. On the face of it, that sort of way of life over there appeals to a Brit like me, more realistically it is probably the change of scenery and climate from grey UK.

Argentina.

All the reviews about the histericas and the bad reviews they get makes me want to try it for myself. And put my game to the ultimate test.

If I can succeed in the trenches, then I can anywhere. I used to fuck one and they're drop dead gorgeous, bring it on!

Avoid the Northwest part of the West coast i.e. Oregon (Portland)/Washington (Seattle) until July if you want to avoid the grey...

In regards to this thread though, I am moving to Budapest on the 11th of this month. It will be my first time living outside of the US, not my first time traveling but first time living abroad...

I plan on hitting up most of the surrounding countries for 4 days max (most of my work will be done remotely)... in the spring/summer I will hit Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Czech Repub, Poland, and perhaps Norway/Sweden/Finland/Lithuania/Estonia??

Thanks HC. I've not been to Ethopia yet. Bought a ticket in August but got sick in Dubai and had to cancel. A lot of tourists go to Addis Ababa and I was wanting to play up the exotic angle to the max. Asmara doesn't seem to have as much going on but looked cleaner. Is there enough to do to cover down on a two week trip? How do the girls compare between the two as far as approach? Also, was language barrier an issue? Let me know the basics, so I can make a better decision. If Eritrea doesn't play out then Ethiopia would be the alternate.

All I'm looking for is to hook up with a couple hotties, have a few drinks, eat good food, and experience the culture.

Well, it seems that you are a white guy from the US, so you would do well with the women, I think. People are generally conservative, but Addis Ababa is such a huge city, so you will find women who are looking for foreigner guys like you.

Asmara is cleaner than AA, but it only has like 500K people. Addis Ababa alone has more people than all of Eritrea. There are no ATM machines in Eritrea and really no civil society. The currency exchange is a racket. I had contacts there so I was able to exchange funds on the black market for a MUCH better rate. Just about everything in Eritrea is run by the government. It feels pretty dead, but there are some decent women walking around in Asmara, and the climate is nice. Socially, I would liken it to a country like Belarus. I haven't been there, but the two countries, especially their capitals, are uncannily similar from what I've read (even down to the expresso bars found all throughout both).

I think you would get bored spending two weeks in Asmara, but it's a safe and manageable city to get around. AA will be hectic and chaotic, but as one of the largest cities in Sub-Saharan Africa, it's much more open to foreigners than Asmara. You'll find many more of them in Ethiopia, and lots more restaurants and bars catering to westerners. The society is just more open, but aesthetically, it's not as nice as Asmara, which is said to be the safest and cleanest capital in all of Africa.

Hotels in Addis Ababa charge a higher rate for foreigners fyi. I think Asmara has a higher concentration of attractive girls, but AA has both hot and ugly ones, since there's so many people.

If you do go to Asmara, I would recommend staying in Asmara Palace. You'll find the best looking girls there as it's the country's only five-star hotel. The girls that are looking for foreigners will be there.

When are you aiming to make that visit?

I'm scheduled for the trip in March. The Asmara Palace looks a little pricey, compared to other hotels. As long as they let me in the bars at night to chase the girls it'll be aight.

What's the nightlife like? There's not much online. Also, did you do any daygame?

Yeah. Asmara Palace is super pricey by local standards. A decent hotel--by Asmara standards--would be Ambassador Hotel or Khartoum Hotel. Both of them have a restaurant bar. I stayed in Ambassador for one night before switching over to a villa that belonged to a family friend.

I only spent a week in Eritrea and four of those days were in other parts of the country; a couple of days in Tesenay (countryside) and a couple in Massawa (coastal city on the Red Sea).

I was with family almost all of the time so I didn't even bother with getting a flag. I also couldn't help but feel depressed by the state of the country, especially since I have family members who still live there, so game just wasn't on my mind sadly enough.

However, you do have options for nightlife. Expo has a lot of different things going on each week, even salsa music. Stop through Asmara Palace even just to hang out as there are chicks in there. Harnet (independence) Avenue is the main drag in Asmara that's lined with palm trees. There's quite a few bars, but it can feel like a ghost town at night during the week. For day game, though, Harnet Avenue is your best bet. There are little side streets that hit Harnet where you can find nondescript bars and restaurants. The two alternative hotels I mentioned are right on Harnet.

I'm really interested to hear about your trip and hope you can drop a report when you get back. I don't really come across westerners who go to Asmara for leisure, so I would value your opinion.

I recommend you check out Massawa on the coast if you have some time. It's only a 2-hour bus ride from Asmara and has some of the best nightlife in the country, which isn't really saying much, but still...

PM me if you have any further questions and I'll try my best to help you out.

Looks like I will be based in Makati, VP.

They have a martial arts classes that run 4 days a week that I am interested in. I will probably probably add some one on one coaching on top of that.

I want to also look into creating an outsource team. I heard some of the calling centers closed down from some people I spoke with. I also believe a US law passed to disallow tax breaks for companies outsourcing their call centers. I suspect this will lead to some more closing and possibly free up more talent.
