Bang Denmark comments and reviews

I personally find Scandinavian women to be physically attractive, much more so than North American women. A few Danes have rolled through my city on travel, and they all were very bangable. But I really like blondes, so maybe I'm biased.

Can someone in Denmark post what an average (5) and typical pretty (7) Dane looks like?

In the delicate art of evaluating female attractiveness, it's important to first outline assumptions and to determine what exactly is being analyzed.

In this case, we are only looking at 5 and 7 face-wise.

The 7

and the 5

Btw... there are loads of Mercedes driving around Copenhagen and having a car is DEFINITELY a status symbol among ordinary folk. Only politicians, who lie and deceive, will insist on smart cars being signs of success - as you already know from America, they live in a fantasy-world decoupled from the rest of us.

Easy test to measure a countries attractiveness:

Find a girl from your target country on Facebook and scour her friends list to see the density of hotgirls on her friends list. torontokid showed me a cute Norwegian and I went through her friends list. All I can say is: quality in Norway is higher than Australia. I did the same with my Finnish ex's friends from her homeland and reached the same conclusion about Finland. Make of that what you will.

ElJefe: The 7 you post is more like a Denmark 8. Not many girls like her walking around in Copenhagen.

Not in Vesterbro for sure!

Nah, her smile brings out the best, is all. She's a definite seven.

No way, her nose is cruder and rounder, and she doesn't have the rarer, more Nordic looking, elegant, inset nose bridge.

Also, her eyes are slightly smaller (height-wise).

That said, I'd genially slobber all over both of them. More than once.

I don't see a difference in attractiveness between your 7 and your 8. That shit doesn't matter anyway what does is the per capita amount of bangable women.

Roosh was gracious enough to give an advance copy of Don't Bang Denmark (DBD), and here is my review.

Don't Bang Denmark, like most of Roosh's books, is a gem. It has enough information to give you a good idea as to what to expect, from a player's perspective, if you are thinking of going there.

Firstly, Roosh makes a pretty good case as to why you should not go to Denmark. And to be honest, unless I have a real good reason, I most likely will never go to Denmark, now that I have read Roosh's book. DBD makes Denmark seems very unappealing indeed. It is true that Denmark could still be worth it and my experience would probably be different from Roosh's. But since I cannot go to all the countries in the world and spend two or more weeks in each, I must rely on reports from fellow travelers who have gone before me to pare down the places I should visit. And I trust Roosh's accounts more than most. So even if Denmark may be a good place, it would not make game sense for me to go there, when I could go to Brazil, Colombia, Croatia, Poland, Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, etc. instead. So on that score, DBD did a good job in ruling out Denmark for me.

Secondly, Roosh again displays how great he is at adapting his game depending on what the facts on the ground warrants. If you've read most of his bang books, you quickly learn different countries favor different type of games in maximizing one's chance in getting a flag in that country. BDB is a great example of that. After several unsuccessful nights out, Roosh had to adapt and figure what type of game maximizes his chance of getting poon in Denmark. As usual, he figured it out. So, one very good thing about DBD is learning a type of game--the one that maximizes one's chance in getting poon in Denmark--that could be used if the one you are using in a foreign country is not working. Thus to sum up, DBD reinforces the truth that different countries may require different game and that you have to be willing and ready to adapt accordingly to increase your efficiency ratio in the pursuit of poon in the relevant country.

Lastly, as you know, Roosh is a great writer and reading this book was really enjoyable.

The only complaint I have of Roosh, not of the book, is that I wish he did not end his friendship with his friend from Denmark over what seems to me to be trivial matters. People are not perfect and life is not black and white. So sometime one have to be a little bit more accommodating and tolerant toward others.

In any event, I highly recommend Don't Bang Denmark. It is A+++. It is money and time well spent.

THIS is how a review should be. Not some [deleted] who pretends to know everything and just mindlessly says "Roosh is SOOOOOO right"... he acknowledges his limitations and in that context you can appreciate what he has to say.

I was offered an e-book review copy of Don't Bang Denmark. Here's my review, it contains a bit of personal narration and discussion that should generally not be present in a review. However, as it is written with the forum in mind as the publishing platform I believe that the ensuing exchanges that can spring from a review in this format are just as valuable as the review itself.

---

Don’t Bang Denmark (DBD) must be something of a unique “guide” on the Game scene. While most books will encourage you to adhere to a certain process, mentality or course of action DBD is trying to warn you of its main topic, namely the nation of Denmark.

Written in an anecdotal style this 60 page book pulls no punches when it comes to declaring Denmark as an ultra-liberal hippie state made up of unattractive women, submissive men and the toxic dynamics between them. It’s a book that is at times hilariously witty in its vivisection of Denmark to the point of being so venomous that it can feel somewhat bitter in its prose.

For those that didn’t know I’m a Swede, with a Swedish address (though I consider myself a citizen of the world). Being a Scandinavian country as well, Denmark and Sweden have large chunks of overlapping culture but not so much as the casual foreign observer might think. Early in the book the author, Roosh V explains that his stay in Denmark was largely limited to Copenhagen but consider his advise to apply to all of Denmark due to the diminutive size of the country. Yet at other parts in the book Roosh notes that girls from the city of Åhus were so much better and regrets not spending equal time there. While this is inconsistent on Roosh’s part I think it’s more of a testament to how localized an unattractive mentality can be. Maybe Don’t Bang Copenhagen would have been a better name for this publication?

Yet this is not to say that DBD does not offer good insights to the female mind at times on a larger scale. I found myself surprised reading certain paragraphs where the outside perspective of the author has trumped my far more detailed knowledge of the culture with gleaming insights to Scandinavian women in general. Jante law is covered in great detail and is pointed out as the main culprit for the unattractivness of Danish women. Personally I would say that too much is made of Jante Law but that might also be due to the counter-culture against it in Sweden were it is sneered at by entrepreneurs, the educated, the beautiful and the ambitious (ie the people you generally want to surround yourself with).

The one moment I knew that Roosh was the real deal about this place and not just mouthing of was when he identified the prospect of hitting up non-Danish women in Denmark which would be a chore in their native countries. This has been a nugget I’ve selfishly guarded myself (my secret bullet point on my Gothenburg data sheet). That Scandinavia is probably one of the easiest places in the world to get an Indian or middle eastern flag. Something that can be very elusive elsewhere.

After reading DBD I can safely say that my type of game and view on women in general is very different from the author’s. Roosh doesn’t really like women as much as he desires them (or the moist relief they provide). Roosh spends a couple of pages lining out tricks on how to screw with a Danish girl's head, not in order to get laid but with the intent to make her feel bad. This is not doing Roosh any favors, which he’s quick to point out himself interestingly enough. At times he’s mentioning an estranged friend, Henrik. It almost sounds as if the regret for losing this friend is taken out in frustration on the locale. No matter the truth to this observation Roosh is being surprisingly candid about the chain of events leading up to the “break up” and he’s not afraid to portray himself in a not-altogether positive view.

Is Roosh’s swagger killing his possibilities to score where a more empathic approach would have served him? I have no idea.
Neither of these approaches to game are right nor wrong, they are merely different means to an end. What is clear is that mine and Roosh experience of Danish women are completely unlike my experience of Scandinavian women as a whole. Still, for the purposes of marketing and acting as a general guide to where to go and where not to go when picking a destination of where to find desirable local women DBD makes a compelling case for eschewing Denmark altogether.

Nice review Vicious. I understand the weaknesses of the book, but I am still flattered when Scandinavians say I've accurately described at least some parts of the culture.

This is a new Danish political drama that is getting quite a lot of attention in the UK.
Although it's fiction it might give some insights into the Danish psyche and gender roles:

You might need to hide your i.p. address to watch or you'll need to subscribe.

Par for the course. Danish women can't get enough of gender equality (to a player's advantage). It's a total inferiority complex.

The system (via high marginal taxation and generous benefits) is built up around each partner working equally much at the office and at home - in practice it doesn't quite work out like that. The realities of the labor market still mean most women take the lion's share of the 52 weeks joint maternity leave when they give birth. Most men take only a couple.

Danish women also have one of the highest fertility levels in Western Europe, interestingly enough.

Their Scandinavian neighbours and the French do too. Seems there's a link between strong welfare states and high fertility rates.

Just read DBD on my kindle. For anyone who is wondering about visiting Denmark or even Scandinavia, especially an American, it is well worth the price. I would like to say that I am cured of the desire to visit Copenhagen, but I now have a morbid desire to visit. It is almost as if I have just read an 70 page booklet about the bearded lady at a freak show and now I have to see if it's true.

Roosh - I would have paid quite a bit more to witness you run the hypocrite routine. Hamster nuke. You don't by chance happen to have any video you shot while in Denmark do you? I'd love to see it.

This is obviously not a proper review of any kind, but damn, for a libertarian leaning American who dislikes masculine contentious female behavior, cold weather, overcast skies, lack of light in the winter (a huge pet peeve), costly travel expenses, small apartments, lack of female fashion, and pretty much every fiber of Jante law - Denmark sounds like hell on Earth. I could probably not describe a worse scene - I could only imagine it would be worse if there was a constant threat of physical violence in addition to all the other bullshit. I have no idea how you stomached living there for as long as you did. I have to admit, I was laughing pretty hard at just how bleak the description became. I now cannot wait to read Bang Poland.

To all the Danish men on this forum, I appreciate the level headed reviews that you wrote of the book. Despite my dislike of the dating scene, socialism, and Jante law (which to me amounts to total suppression of the individual), I do have a respect for you guys for not getting upset. It shows your pretty cool.

Roosh, keep em coming!

I read do not bang Denmark it is pretty accurate from American perspective. From southern European perspective Denmark is the worst Scandinavian country and one of the worst European countries to be for girls. If you happen to be in Copenhagen just skip it and travel to Malmo which is only 45 minutes away.Difference between Danish and Swedish girls in terms of appearance and approachability are day and night.Swedish are top in Europe Danish girls are the ugliest in Scandinavia.

If you travel to Jutland and Funen ( even Sealand ) you can find enough decent looking girls in Denmark, the trashy and alternative look that Roosh has shown is not the norm with girls there.

[Image: attachment.jpg4488]   [Image: attachment.jpg4487]   [Image: attachment.jpg4486]

I can see though why coming to Denmark can be such a culture shock to an American because the culture seems to be the total opposite of American culture. And while feminism is certainly strong in the States, compared to Northern Europe, it is still benign in many ways.

Even American women complain about the different gender roles in Scandinavia and experience a culture shock after moving ... I've heard several American girls complain about not being approached by guys in DK , that no one flirts, and that they don't get any looks ("I've never felt so unattractive in my whole life, the guys here just ignore me").

Also, that they have to buy their own when on a date apparently is a new experience for some. And of course the date doesn't feel like a date because Scandinavian guys try to become friends with the girl first and try very hard not to show any sexual interest or signs of affection towards the woman.

Back home an American woman can simply can lay back and let the guys do all the work and pay the bills etc. whereas in Scandinavia the game is played very differently.

Too bad this expat's blog seems to be deleted as she had a lot of interesting material concerning the relations between the sexes in Denmark, even if from a female perspective...this is from the cache:

Of course, little does this blogger write about what happens if a man turns out his alpha side in DK. There is a reason why things are the way they are in the State of Denmark.
