In theory I agree with you, but college offers several perks that vanish into thin air once you leave it and enter the working world (if you can find a job).
- There are tons of sports to play, and to get almost anywhere requires you to walk. Also, there's almost always a gym nearby and their rates are cheaper (when I left my school it was about $24/month, that's about half the rate at Goodlife).
- You're surrounded by a group of your peers, and meat-market economics apply...I've always noticed that competition, in the form of hundreds of equally or greater desirability women will force women to keep things tight.
- And of course youth.
But once a girl gets a job and moves to the city, things change. Chances are her job is keeping her shackled to a chair in a cubicle for 8 hours a day, her friends are scattered so she has no metric to judge herself by and with the cost of an apartment, a gym membership and good, healthy food is an afterthought.
A girl that works at it (or rather, works at keeping it at bay) will look about as good at 25 as she did at 20, but not all of them do that. They think that men will value them for their careers and the money that they make instead of their looks.
Which is funny in a sad way, when you consider that all the tabloid journalism they devour almost bi-weekly shows some big shot with an aging wife stepping out with a younger, hotter, tighter package.

You might hand me two photos of the same girl at 25 and 20, and the difference would be small (though noticeable). But the difference in person is sizable. There's just something vibrant and electric about women aged ~16-21. You forget it because you don't see women that age that much - normal middle class girls are in high school or college at that age. Also, many of the cute girls that age talk like fucking retards.
School infantilizes. Work will masculinize. Unless she works in a feminine profession like as a kindergarten teacher in an upper class suburb, her job will masculinize her, independent of the vagaries of age.

Divide that number by 2 and we are getting closer to the truth lol. When I was in college I can say I would have fucked damn near 80% of the girls in my classes. Run into many of these girls a couple of years after they graduate? Completely different scenario. It really is crazy. As guys we are pretty lucky. Younger girls like older guys, and we do hold our looks much better than most women. Plus, looks are not as important for a guy as for a girl. Guys will rarely fuck a less than average looking girl just because she is super cool and fun to be around....if that even exists lol. Girls will often fuck a less than average looking guy if he is super cool and fun to be around.
