Why don't more guys move/travel abroad?

Why don't more guys move/travel abroad?

America is the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD! Why would you ever want to leave? That's the mentality that's instilled in boys and girls at a very young age.

Are you fucking high? The vast majority of OECD countries kick America's ass in most of those categories, particularly education, healthcare and crime. That's a fact. Get your head out of your ass.

The newer generations have become lethargic. They'd rather stare in front of a screen and wait for the answer that actually go outside and discover it on their own. They learned from the baby boomers, who perfected the art of wasting away the evening in front of the t.v. eating a Hungry Man Dinner (which btw is 16 oz).

And why would they go abroad when no one tells them to? That's how kids are programmed nowadays. They think they are fighting the system but are slaves to it. I see these youngsters "fighting the man", but their so inside the box it's not even funny. It truly is like the Matrix. They aren't even close to seeing where they truly stand. These are the same knuckleheads that down the media for lies, but won't travel beyond borders to seek out the truth. They put their faith in another media outlet that some bullshit organization they joined told them to.

And if their that ate up, do you really think they'll have the gumption to actually get a passport and travel? No.

And for the record, beach resorts like Cancun and Bali don't count.

Who talked about OECD? We talk about comparison to 2nd and 3rd world countries.
High end OECD country = similar type of girls with high feminism rates. Like Germany or Britain- no reason to move there because of girls.
Also, the lower end OECD countries like Poland, Estonia and Czech Rep. are far behind US in any aspect.

Maybe you are the tipsy one [Image: wink.gif]

No. 1, Canadian (except Toronto), French, Spanish Scandinavian and even German girls are far better than American girls.
Even Cuba has better healthcare than America hell you two have the same life expectancy, and that's Cuba for fucks sake. Don't even get me started on your appaling tertiary education and its astronomical fees, where a similar or better education elsewhere is far cheaper, even free in some parts of Europe.

And the murder rate in Poland and the Czech Republic is less then the USA's. Your "democratic liberal culture" has led to a bankrupt feminist controlled state which is soon going to become China's bitch.

And I never called you tipsy, I said you were high. It's either that or you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

I realised today that a lot of people don't think it's humanely possible to save up a few grand to go travelling. They are so short sighted they can't see past getting drunk at the weekend, buying the newest gadget, wearing the latest trend and spending every bit of their wage that isn't going on bills on absolute shit they don't really need. I work with a fair few people (aged from 18 to 28ish) who live at home still so no rent or major expenses, they have minimal bills (just phone), none drive so no car expenses. They can't understand how I can possibly have saved up a few grand in the past 6-7 months and aim to have another £2k or so by the start of next year. I ask them what they spend their money on and they honestly don't know, they are always broke despite having minimal expenses and can't save even if they wanted to. They tell me my travelling sounds amazing and would love to do it but when I tell them they should it's usually the same response "I couldn't afford it" which is strange as I have higher monthly expenses than them and I've been all over the world in recent years.

I guess I don't see the problem with saying America is a great place to live. Even if someone thinks it is the best, it is the best for them. From all my travels, I still think it is one of the best places to live.

Most people only have a week or two of vacation. That isn't a lot of time to travel overseas and really enjoy it. With all the different climates in America, it is just easier for them to vacation at home.

Americans are mainly focused on themselves. Hell, I doubt most Americans know what is happening outside of their own city or state let alone other countries. I think they do themselves a major injustice with this narrow line of thinking.

It just isn't part of our culture. I know that it is sort of tradition for Aussies to travel the world. I wish we had something similar but we focus more on work and buying stuff we don't need. Why travel, expand our knowledge when we can be looking for a 80 hour a week job, a woman that will balloon up to twice her weight, have 2.5 kids that will be oblivious to everything around a television, and a house that we will continue borrowing against. After all, that is the American dream.

I'm my biggest impediment to travel - not knowing how I will take care of my credit card and student loan debts worries the hell out've me. This is pretty much why I'm stuck in this retail slave position right now but I know that the longer I stay here, the less likely it is that I will leave and that bothers me greatly. I know that I have to take the leap of faith and go to England in 2 months to get my CELTA.

I have credit card bills and other debts too, I just make sure that I've saved enough on top of what I need for travelling to cover them whilst I'm away. Takes a bit longer as I go away for 5-6 months at a time but means I don't have to worry about them when on the road....when I get back however!
