Actually, you have no clue.

Let's clarify things. "Advocating" means "to support or recommend publicly; plead for or speak in favour of". I don't see anything about advocating homosexuality in that bill. I really hope you're not one of those idiots who believe homosexuality is a choice which could be influenced?

Multiculturalism is just as problematic as the others. It consists of putting "nice" ideas about the way things are over the actual, unflattering truth. I don't want my sons to hate women, gays or foreigners, I just want him to see them as they are, not as leftists wish them to be.

Multiculturalism is exactly about it - accepting that everyone has a right to be different, and the people do not have to fit into the patterns. It is about telling your son that if someone has a different opinion about something, he is not supposed to kick his ass (or invade their country) because of it. It is about that just because someone is different from you doesn't make him wrong and it doesn't make you right.

It's impossible to discuss policy honestly nowadays, because there's always some harpy or sackless male who will shout "You can't say that!"

Ironically what you describe is a typical example of LACK of multiculturalism - someone just cannot accept that people may have different opinions about things. And once you hear that, just look into his eyes and calmly ask, "why"? I have done this multiple times, and this was always enough.

It's for the peers he'd find there. I'll take skydivers over D&D players and anime fans any day.

Well, I wouldn't be so sure. For example, I'd say much less anime fans do drugs or drink heavily.

Just a comment on the multiculturalism issue...

Multiculturalism has become a growing problem, particulary in Europe. Some of Europe's own leaders, including British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, have publicly denounced multiculturalism and spoken out against its dangers.

While learning about other cultures is essential for kids to understand the world, the multiculturalist policy direction in many countries is failing. This is not healthy for anyone.

How to raise a sexist son?

When this post was made, I was banging this absolutely crazy red head in my on campus apartment.

I was trying to end it with her and proceeded to go out a few weeks later for halloween. I ended up making out with this girl and got the whole thing recorded on some camera.

Long story short, some goober went and showed her the video [Image: tongue.gif]

How to raise a sexist son?

Some real rough comments in here and some theoretical.

Are we sure "sexist" doesn't mean hating women? I think there's a hate component that looms above not only this thread but many on the forum.

Do yourself a favor and teach the kid to appreciate and even respect true femininity and not hate women. Also not to settle for the opposite. Thin line but not enough said.

I praised his departure and one or two other respected forum members messaged me privately in agreement. Plus he didn't just leave the forum, he flounced - you have to be something of a real life prick or prima donna to flounce. My sentiment is based on more than just this thread. I don't remember clearly what he would say, but he seemed blue pill by omission, by taking a stand against common beliefs here, in an belligerent way.

It gets better - OldNem in his flounce post famously predicted that the manosphere was doomed! [Image: lol.gif]

My theory was that he wrote like a girl quite often - his wife found his account and posted under his name quite often to argue with us. Some of his viewpoints were too female for me to seriously believe there was a man on the other end. For example, he'd always advocate to marry older rich women so that way you wouldn't lose in a divorce! [Image: tard.gif]

Yeah, the title seems off. Although clearly Feminist are man-hating sexists for sure, so maybe OP was just trying to use it as an analogy equating like for like.

But the title should have been something like "How to raise a confident, Masculine Man" I think. Understanding true femininity and respecting it, while at the same time knowing what it is to be a man, is very important. But unfortunately most women in the Anglosphere don't know what it is to be "feminine" or even what they want, and that's a big part of the problem. So they run around acting like men and teaching their kids idiotic feminist dogma of some sort and generally screw up their kids.

Anyway, suprised that guy (or girl?) never got banned especially how his tone was (especially to Basil). In particular, I think he was looking at it the wrong way and from the inside-out i.e. trying to fit a dumbed-down, masculine-lite "modern" masculinity into the current messed up system, when you really can't do that for the most part and need to just work from outside the system a lot of the time. There are going to be hordes of feminists and manginas out there for the foreseeable future, most who don't even know they are, and we'll be dealing with them 24-7 for the rest of our lives so you need to figure out how to raise kids correctly from within the family unit and without.
