Australia's highest paid rugby player refuses to retract "homophobic" statement

Rugby Australia faces a potential mutiny from its Pacific Island players after Reds and Wallabies prop Taniela Tupou stated they “might as well” sack them over their religious beliefs.

https://www.planetrugby.com/news/might-a...mu-kerevi/

"The tighthead posted a message on Facebook, which has since been deleted, defending team-mate Samu Kerevi, who felt the need to apologise after publicly expressing his beliefs on Instagram.

Kerevi put up a passage from the Bible around Easter before adding: “Thank You Jesus for dying on the cross for me. I love you Jesus.”

However, Tupou leapt to his defence, writing: “Seriously? Might as well sack me and all the other Pacific Islands rugby players around the world because we have the same Christian beliefs?

“I will never apologise for my faith and what I believe in, religion had nothing to do with rugby anyways?”"

Tupou isnt a particularly well known member of the Australian team but Kerevi is.. A long standing fixture in the team's midfield.

Kerevi put up another Biblical screed on Easter Weekend, having previously liked Folau's controversial tweet.

Last weekend Billy Vunipola was 'confronted' by an Irish fan who ran onto the pitch to yell abuse at him.

There are five previous instances of this happening that I can recall.

1. A South African fan ran onto the pitch to attack the referee during an SA-New Zealand game. It took the players by surprise but when they realised they battered the fan.

2. A drunk fan during the Oxford Cambridge University match tried to join in play and was punched several times by both sides.

3. A drunk fan ran up to Ollie Barkley the then England player during a Bath Rugby game. Barkley picked him up and dumped him on his back in an outlawed 'spear' tackle.

4. A drunk pitch invader at the Hong Kong international sevens was shepherded toward the touchline by Gurkha soldiers doing security who held his arms before another Gurkha hurdled in and stiff armed him in the face.

5. A 10 year old tried to get near to New Zealand's """""Muslim"""" rugby player Sonny Bill Williams at the last World Cup final. Security tackled him to the ground before he even got close. It was all smoothed over and Sonny Bill the Attention Hound gave him his match jersey on the spot.

Pitch invasion used to be something that was discouraged, all those pitch invaders above apart from 5. received touchline bans and faced criminal proceedings ...

The players never received any censure for their actions in response..

but as far as anyone can make out the Munster fan who had a go at Vunipola was described as 'confronting' Vunipola over his terrible views and has faced no action whatsoever.

Meanwhile the Gays and Dykes running Australian rugby and its sponsors may be facing a Tongan/ Polynesian rebellion.

So the brown/black Pacific Islander players are defending Christianity and tradition to the hilt, and white leftist maggots are trying to confront/fire them over it.

Don't know what to say to that.

Character crosses ethnic lines. Its better to have comrades of good character than someone who looks like you that screw you over.

That's why this thing isn't as simple as skin shade. That culture is one where they are far more "redpill" than white culture is by nature.

The Jury's still out after their meeting but ..

GET WOKE, GO BROKE..

"According to a report in The Daily Telegraph on Saturday, the future of rugby in Australia could be decided if Folau is successful in his challenge of RA’s move to rip up his contract.

The report claims Rugby Australia is privately bracing for a $12 million financial loss for the upcoming season — pushing the code to the brink of collapsing.

RA would face “financial ruin” if it is forced to face a projected $8 million loss and pay out the full $4 million owed to Folau in his long-term contract.

According to The Australian, the legal fees and costs associated with fighting Folau in a conduct hearing and expected follow-up legal challenges through the courts will also cost RA at least $100,000.

A full $12 million hit would leave RA “on the precipice of insolvency,” according to The Daily Telegraph’s Jamie Pandaram."

Remains to be seen what happens.

Apparently the Australian coach, Michael Cheika, was a surprise appearance at the hearing. I presume in an attempt to make Folau feel that he is on his side and to get him to play ball more with the 'committee'.

The truth and the verdict will slowly come out, we hope..

The guy gave a sermon yesterday at a Pentecostal church about the incident

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...FgBcMJiMXE

Quote:Quote:

He told The Truth of Jesus Christ church service that there had been several opportunities to save his $4 million Wallabies contract, but he ultimately refused the 'temptation' to take down his homophobic social media post.

'The way Satan works is he offers you stuff that could look good to the eye and makes you feel comfortable, and if you follow that path all the worries and troubles will go away. (But) it is always the will of God that comes first.'

...

Folau said he faces the prospect that his lucrative salary could soon go out the window, after more than 13 years of playing professionally.

'It would be the first time it has happened to me in my life. All the materialistic things I have been able to have over the last number of years are slowly being taken away from me,' he said.

The highest Super Rugby try-scorer of all time ended his sermon by quoting a bible passage about losing his soul to gain the world.

I hope he takes it all the way to our High Court and bankrupt Rugby Australia. This case is now essentially Commie Australia vs Christianity and Freedom of Speech.

Not even the Australian Prime Minister is safe from the Spandex Inquistion.

Scott Morisson, who is a devout Pentacostal was attacked for “[refusing] to say that LGBTI Australians don’t go to hell”.

Note how I no longer whinge about China's religious restrictions anymore.

It's official: he lost his contract.

Quote:Quote:

Israel Folau was today officially sacked from the Australia rugby union team for a homophobic Instagram post.

The decision makes the devout Christian the first Australian athlete dismissed for expressing religious beliefs.

Folau, 30, has the right to appeal and have his case heard at a second code of conduct hearing by a new panel.

But he will reportedly skip that process and head straight to court to argue that he is being persecuted for his religion.

In a press conference this afternoon, Rugby Australia CEO Raelene Castle said Folau was a 'great player' but that everyone has the right to be respected regardless of sexuality, race, gender or religion.

After Folau was sacked, former Wallabies coach Alan Jones said Rugby Australia had 'internationally destroyed his name for quoting a passage from the bible'.

This guy is a fucking hero, has stones like watermelons and is an immigrant, showing Australia an example of what our national integrity used to be like.

exactly.
Can't be overstated.

Meanwhile similar chads in sport are too busy doing coke off women's beasts and supporting LGBTXYZ and feminism because they know it won't affect them- they'll be good anyway.

No different to the rich in third world countries exploiting the poor, rather than seeking to better the overall living standards of their people.

They have the degenerate gene, whereas Folau has the civilization gene
