What can replace chocolate if you love it too much?

I love chocolate too much. I want to make love to it. I wish there was a way that I could stuff my face every day but I know it's wrong. I wouldn't say I'm addicted but I do eat more than I should.

What could I replace it with? What can I eat every day instead of chocolate without having too much of a sugar intake?

Have a shot of this every day?

Ratios?

* Yogurt : 1 kg
* Cocoa powder : 12 tablespoons
* Orange & cinnamon : depends on how much sweetness you want. Be careful with the cinnamon, it's easy to put in too much. Start with half a teaspoon and go from there.

When I did it, I blended a whole orange (take out the seeds, they contain arsenic) with a small glass of water, and if I remember correctly I put in 6 or 8 tablespoons of the mixture.

When I mixed it all I put it in the fridge for a while. Then when I tasted it after a few hours, I believe it tasted a bit sweeter and more complete than it did when I was mixing it. Then I put it in a plastic box and froze it. Then I took it out, let it defrost slightly so that it wasn't rock hard, and I sliced it in half, then half again, and so on, until I had lot of little cubes of it.

So whenever I wanted some chocolate I just put about 4 cubes in a glass, let it melt, stirred it, and I had chocolate yogurt. It was very nice and it tasted like real chocolate.

Check the sugar content of the yogurt and cocoa powder. The yogurt should be about 3% sugar, and the cocoa powder should be a very tiny percent. Oranges don't contain much sugar, and cinnamon has practically none.

My point being, don't worry about sugar content, but do check the yogurt.

Most chocolate bars are about 50% sugar, or more. When I made my concoction I believe, based on a rough calculation, that it was about 5% roughly. So if you like chocolate, this will give you the taste and just enough sweetness to satisfy, but with a fraction of the sugar.

EDIT : I forgot to mention, I did also put in some shortbread biscuits (blended and stirred in). They contain a lot of sugar in themselves, but when mixed in with everything else it doesn't make too much difference. The end result is still about a tenth of the amount of sugar in normal chocolate.

That's not how we do things in Russia, comrade.

Pralus Le 100% is amazing and has no sugar. Kind of pricey but worth it.

Nothing. If you love chocolate - the sweet type, above 60-70% it gets too bitter to be really satisfying, even if it's still good and healthier - as much as I do you will always miss it, even if you manage to stop eating it or limit it to a level where it doesn't make you gain weight (I've fortunately managed the latter most of my life).

In the summer when it's hot ice cream - chocolate ice cream - can be a good, equally unhealthy substitute.

Like everybody says, dark chocolate is the way to go. When I try to watch what I eat, but want chocolate, I'll grab some chocolate protein bars or a chocolate protein shake. Just make sure they're not overloaded with sugar.

All desire for sweets is due to feeling for lack of love. This is well known in Ayurvedic medicine.

Only realization of God's love and meeting His love with your own can truly cure you.

Surely your post is a joke..

There were comments suggesting meth, blowjobs and various forms of alcohol as cure.

And you decided my post is a joke?

Tells a lot about yourself.

Drink 1L of water before you eat that chocolote. Trust me, you won't like it anymore since your stomach is full.

Meat can give you the savory and fatty fix without the sugar.

If the problem is sugar cravings, then I've found it helps to ramp down with fruit.

You can also substitute in healthier sweeteners like raw honey, coconut sugar, xylitol, and stevia (though most people find it gross, some people like it). These are lower GI than white sugar and tend to be less addictive. I make my own chocolate with coconut oil and sugar. Cheap here in SE Asia. Also love to mix peanut butter in.

You can also make really delicious truffles with blended frozen fruit which makes it healthier and keeps some chocolate in the mix. Blend the fruit with a bit of sweetener and coconut oil then freeze it enough that you can still scoop out spoonfuls. Then make a liquid chocolate mix and dip the spoonfuls of frozen truffle into it. Deeelicious and much healthier.

I made a mixture of peanut butter and milk. I made peanut butter by putting peanuts in a blender, then added the milk, then froze it. It's not bad.

Usually pussy works pretty well hehehe
But being serious i would advice you to try some protein powder together with some yogurt or milk, taste decent and do not have so much calories and so much shit on it.

You can try as well some fruits like strawberries, pretty good and really low calories, fresh for the summer...
And just control your mind bro, everything is up there
