how does taking birth control change a woman's personality

From my experience, it tends to make them more aggressive, assertive, and masculine. The most feminine women I've been with wouldn't touch the pill. It could be a matter of more masculine chicks wanting to take the pill, instead of the pill specifically exerting that change.

I have noticed this as well. I have talked to some old LTRs in the past and they said they cant stop, because they like having sex with out condoms, but that they dont like taking it because it makes them feel different.

Back when I was as beta as could be, I was in an LTR that was lasting wayyy to long and I had wanted it to end forever; but being beta, just couldnt seem to get out. I stopped sleeping with my ex, and after 3 or 4 weeks without sex; she told me she was going to stop taking her birth control because I wasnt fucking her. Man I seriously cant believe the shit I used to take or the crap I would put up with.

Makes you wonder why more betas arent gay.

Hormonal birth control puts the womans body in a state similar to pregnancy, minus the baby.

I've had a theory for a while that the reason we've seen a rise in feminine "metrosexual" guys in the past few years is due to the abundance of young girls on the pill.

With a girls hormones in a state similar to pregnancy what she looks for in a man changes. She no longer wants an alpha male to father strong children, she wants a gentler caring, more effeminate man, that would be good for raising children. The metrosexual trend was just a response to this. Guys still wanted to get laid so they changed the way they acted to achieve this end.

What Roosh said makes sense with this too. Think about the one assertive woman we've all met, mom. A girls hormones are in a state of "I've got a baby now" so they put aside the feminine traits that make them appealing to men because on a hormonal level thats not their prerogative anymore (whether they know it or not).

At the same time they're still fighting themselves inside, because part of them still does want the strong alpha male (its just nature) but their hormones are telling them to go for a beta male. Might be why the LJBF/Orbiter phenomenon has become more prevalent too. Girls fuck the alpha male, because their brain wants too, but keep the betas around because their ovaries want them.

I can back this up (to a degree)

Before I took the red pill and got my shit together, I relied mostly luck to get a girl, and I did okay, but all the girls who REALLY liked me, were really into the way I looked especially, were NOT on the pill. They liked that I was tall, broad, hairy, generally very masculine.

I did not see any changes at all. But I guess it depends on the personality and on the pill.

Girls who get cummed in regularly are happier than those who don't. Something in the semen.

There are low hormone pills which are to be preferred.

My current LTR is on the pill and is horny as hell.

I've only noticed craziness come out when their on the pill. Never any issues with the shot. But maybe that's just my limited experience.

Generally there are two important rules:

- The pill needs to be prescribed by the doctor. Preferably the one who knows her medical history, and has seen blood test results. Do not self-diagnose.

- If the prescribed pill leads to unusual side effects, call the doctor immediately! Typically alternatives exist for most prescribed drugs - exactly for this specific reason, the medicine which works well for 99% of the population may give you major headache. But you need to let your doctor know about it first. This is important for every kind of medicine.

Hold on, don't women prefer beta males even when their not on the pill except during their more fertile week? (5 days before and 2 days after they ovulate)
Therefore wouldn't women on the pill act like they would without the pill 75% of the time? Feel free to shoot me down in I'm wrong.

In addition to this, the pill tends to make women even more emotionally unstable than they already are. The pills plays with their natural chemical and hormonal balance. Women become crazy the same way they do when they are pregnant. If I were female, I would never, ever put that shit in my body.

Cracked.com had an article saying exactly this. And they backed it up with medical studies.

I'll dig it up later.

I wonder if it's something in the semen, or if it's just the fact that they're having sex regularly. Perhaps both.

It's something about the way that semen reacts to a woman's body. I noticed that with my ex. If I came in her, she was happy as a duck in water. If I didn't, no noticeable change other than the afterglow of fucking.

As for the pill, it makes bitches crazy. We all know that women think with their feelings and not with their brains. Now take that system and turn the knob to 11. That's what you get.

No it's the semen. They compared it to when the guy used rubbers. Girls who get their semen dosage on the regular are happier then girls who don't. They also spend less time in between boyfriends/lovers. Almost as if they're addicted to the semen...

The pill effects hormones, and behavior is controlled to a certain extent by hormones also.

Sort of, but it's not that simple. Being on birth control does prevent the hormone changes associated with ovulation, but it also sets hormones to levels more like those seen in pregnancy, rather than the non-ovulatory portion of the menstrual cycle.

What the research seems to indicate (although this definitely isn't conclusive yet) is that it does seem to make women less likely to prefer alpha male traits like a strong jawline and dominant behavior than they would if they were ovulating, so there might (or might not) be an overall shift toward preferring beta males, but it's not exactly like you just suppressed their ovulation and left the rest of their cycle intact. It's more likely that their personality would be altered in a way not seen during normal menstrual cycles, possibly something like what happens in pregnancy.

Adding yet another layer of complexity is that birth control comes in a number of different formulations that have different effects on hormone levels. So I wouldn't be too confident about making predictions about just how a woman's personality or mate preferences will change when she goes on BC, except to say that it's likely to be something other than the normal pattern of a spike in preference for alpha males 1 week out of every cycle that you see when she's not on BC. More likely, the mate preferences (whatever they are) will be fairly constant across time since BC pills stabilize hormone levels.
