Do you use body wash?

I haven't used body wash or shampoo/ conditioner in the shower for about 4 months now. I have only used water and a washcloth. I noticed I smell fine and feel clean afterwards, has anyone else tried this?

I use body wash because i smell if i dont.
I sweat during my daily workouts so i'd rather not stink when i'm out and about for the day.
Even with plenty of water throughout the day.

I can understand no using shampoo for guys with longer hair. However, for myself i keep my hair very low so the oil from my head ends up in my eyes by the end of the day and it burns like crazy. I have naturally oily skin on my face and head so i need to keep on top of it or i'll get in grown hairs etc.

I use shampoo and shower gel liberally.

I have never really understood the reasons for not beyond contrarianism.

I mainly don't use body wash and shampoo because of the supposed harmful effects of xenoestrogens that are in these products. I'm not sure how much of an affect they have, but I figure if I can go without them, it's one less thing lowering my t levels

That's fair enough.

I think there are worse things to worry about though to be honest.

Yeah ever since discovering about xenoestrogens in all these products I have been put way to much effort into lowering my use of these products. I think improving my diet, exercising more consistently, and sleeping better will be much better uses of my effort to maintain healthy t levels

I can't stand body wash. I like a bar of soap. Sometimes I get stuck at a hotel with body wash, and if so, I'll buy a bar of soap if I have time.

Have you measured your T levels before and after to prove if any of this made a tangible difference?

Do you use body wash?

A long time ago I switched to just shampoo for head and body.

A couple years ago I stopped using soap all together. It wasn't a decision, so much as simply trying it a couple times and noticing no difference.

The only little difference is my hair looks and feels maybe a little healthier.

Nope, Nubian Heritage Black Soap. Absolutely best soap in the universe, I buy it by the palette:

African Black Bar Soap for body wash everyday. Cheap and smells better than anything else I've ever used.

Only shampoo and condition my hair once a week or before special occasions. Only use organic stuff.

Not using body wash nor shampoo for about 2-3 years now I think. It's been so long I cant even remember. Though, I do use an after-shave twice a week, antiperspirant; whenever I go to a social meeting (2-5 times a week).

In the summer 2018 I have used shampoo for about a week due to walls polishing; could not wash off the dust with just water. I didn't try soda but I think I should have.

Can not say it all contributed to my testosterone as I have not done any checks. Only thing I have is my skinny body with a bit of muscles, pointy cheekbones, and good mood and energy levels. Also, I am very good at nofapping; gone 1 full year without porn/fap and I am damn proud of it. Still slacking in other areas of life.

I lived in Vietnam for about 1 year and the water is terrible just to shower, dries your skin and hair can fall out after continues washing. I switched to an organic shampoo and body wash to help the skin, hair worked pretty good a product from South Africa called Earthsap

The chemical free lifestyle is the way to go. I use a coconut oil based soap, sometimes put it in my hair (I don’t use shampoo.) I was using baking soda for DO, lately I’ve been using magnesium oil/brine because it’s spray-on and thus easier. Haven’t delved into anything toothpaste-wise, I use Colgate. Like everything else it has chemicals in it but I don’t worry about it too much since I spit it out

I used to sweat profusely all the time, particularly my armpits, but the whole body in general. Even in the winter cold, while sitting still and completely calm and relaxed, I would still be sweating. Did not make sense at all.

I tried all kinds of deodorants and medicines to stop the sweating and none worked. I'd apply this cream in my armpits that literally blocks the sweat off and I'd just start sweating more on my forehead and back instead.

About 5 years ago I did a complete 180 and stopped using bodywash and shampoo altogether to see what would happen. The sweating decreased tremendously and the quality of my skin went up also. I've been on water-only ever since. I use baking soda for deodorant (thanks RVF) and organic coconut oil for shampoo (although I keep my hair very short so I don't need to use the oil a lot).

In the meantime I also stopped smoking, and to my surprise the sweating decreased even further. Not sure if there's a correlation there but I suspect it. I think my sweating levels are now close to normal, as in, I sweat when I work out or when it's hot.

If you stink, use a loufa. However the fuck it's spelt. Gotta scrape that stench out sometimes.

I use a cheap body wash on my ass and crotch a few times a week. I basically never wash the rest of my body.
