I use a cheap body wash on my ass and crotch a few times a week. I basically never wash the rest of my body.

Baking soda?

African Black Soap (I think Shea's). My ex put me on to it, and I haven't looked back.

I sport a shaved head and goatee so shampoo us not an issue. I prefer body wash to simple bar soap but honestly, given my sedentary lifestyle I could get away with plain water. The exceptions are 1) drinking alcohol and 2) eating curry or other spicy food. Another exception is that I like either sulphur soap or glycerine soap to wash my face. Most body washes I have tried leave a slight residue. That's fine for the body per se as it gives you the smell. However, it leaves my face feeling greasy.

I haven't used body wash or shampoo/ conditioner in the shower for about 4 months now. I have only used water and a washcloth. I noticed I smell fine and feel clean afterwards, has anyone else tried this?

I just use whatever shampoo / bodywash / conditioner is available. Then I was my face, hair and body with it. Have done it for 20 years. Skin is always soft, face clean and hair smells good.

I have begun shaving my head and beard entirely once every four to five days using a Gilette Razor. I would do so more often, but I need to save money and don't want to ruin my skin.

I am developing an ability to groom my beard and head slowly beginning with a razor to later learn how to become a barber for myself. I was experiencing hair loss so I started shaving my head and facial hair and I love it although I appear as a big adult baby unless I shave almost daily.

Since I have been doing this, I have used an Irish Spring (Aloe Vera) bar of soap to wash my entire body head to toe. It's great and the best for what I prefer.

What I was lacking before was the use of a wash cloth. Where I am from and currently live this is a serious necessity for other men and women to be calm and happy around me. One of my own monikers for the school district I am from using language blending is "A Wash Cloth," I just did not catch on until I got older. In the past I would wash my body and face with the bar of soap itself and use shampoo for my hair. Now I use the wash cloth after applying the Irish Spring to it and also use a brush for my back since I am just developing some flexibility in my back and arms to be able to wash my own back without needing to use the brush. Since I believe I am the only human using my wash cloth, I sometimes wash my genitals with it but wash between my ass cheeks using my hands.

I highly recommend using a wash cloth and back brush if you want to get with lots of women, it is important to them whether you use body wash or not and body wash and soap bars are different. Pay very close attention not just to scent but the feel of your skin with the type of soap you use. I prefer dry skin after a shower not smooth, so it makes a difference to me personally although women may prefer smooth skin or scented soap.

The great and best thing about wash cloths is you may be able to conserve water even if it cheap to use large amounts of water while showering. This is great for dealing with environmentally conscious women and women that travel. Also since their vaginas get wet it is a related skill to conserve water. Just soap up the wash cloth after soaking your body in water if you are not cold and shut off the water and apply the soap with the wash cloth and then turn the water back on. This is related to when many of us particularly in the United States of America were taught as children to shut off the sink water while brushing our teeth as in put the toothpaste on the tooth brush and start brushing with the water off and then turn the water on again to wash the toothpaste out of our mouths.

Also, do not think life is prison unless you are in prison, so bend down and wash those feet. Women feel less tension near men that have well stretched bodies and are physically flexible, so bending over to wash your legs and feet is a nice way to stretch your hamstrings out. This is a cheat code for men of the Manosphere, your feet get clean and you get to stretch out your hamstrings without having to learn to cook ham (yes cooking is also part of dating/sex ability although I believe most women do not want to taste my cooking I am a beginner).

No I do not use body wash unless forced or have few other choices.

I spent about nine months only using water and a wash cloth. The first two or three days I had very feint body odour, but after that I couldn't smell anything. Stopped getting swamp arse too. I'm assuming it was a change in bacteria type / production that altered my smell.

I tried no shampoo but couldn't get it to work. Maybe I didn't give it long enough. I also tried baking soda as deodorant, but it caused irritation so I stopped using it. I never really had bad body odour, so it wasn't needed anyway.

I'd be interested to see if there are any experiments where swabs are taken to check actual cleanliness / bacteria production to see if lack of odour = clean.

Yes, daily. Along with shampoo, conditioner and a facial scrub lol. I work a dirty job and then train jiu-jitsu in the evening. Don't want to risk getting a nasty skin infecting from sweaty mats.

Any truth to the alex jones-type theory that the fluoride in the water seeps into your skin during a shower and you need a special filter on the showerhead?

I've been using irish spring because it's cheap, recently bought their body wash and it's awful I can't wait to go bar to the bar soap.

Actually I just got my first Dollar Shave Club razor and shave butter, so far it's pretty damn good. I like traditional bar soap like Lever 2000, but I need plain baking soda for my face or I break out around my nose.
