You should live by the motto:

"30 is the new 20!"

Your in-slaved and imprisoned by this idealogy that a man at a certain age should live his life a certain way. I understand that your trying to recapture your youth, and what you've missed during your younger years. The truth is you can recapture it, and fulfill your heart's desires. Your looking to create memories and experiences that will last a lifetime. Well I have good news for you, you can still do it!

The only person getting in the way is you!

Stop being a pussy, and quit whining on this forum. It's great you've recognized your problems, but start implementing solutions.

Majority of men haven't lived a vivid and euphoric party life during the years of 18 - 25. So many men struggle just to get by, or to get laid. You believe the grass is greener on the other side. Start appreciating how green the grass is on your side.

Stop caring about what others think. So many forum members are in there 30s and 40s and have no plans on settling down. I think LINUX is in his late 30's and from what I've read he's living his 30's like it's his 20's. Your goals are possible if your pragmatic and willing to work towards them. Have greater gratitude for your situation, and have faith everything will work out.

It all comes back to you!

Beer, You are overthinking too much. Sorry for the hard words, but The forum doesn’t give a fuck about your life.

People can give you advices, but You are the one who decide. You can drink alcohol, travel wherevere you want, bang 1000 white girls and other things. At the end, it is your life and just be happy.

Maybe the Americans who make it over to the European party spots are the rich daddy's money kids you are talking about but Americans are a very small proportion of who is there. There are plenty of spots in Greece, Spain etc filled with working class and middle class people from England. I think the Germans, Scandinavians etc have their own resorts too which I imagine again are mainly working class and middle class. Your illusion of these places being filled with rich kids is totally wrong.

Book yourself a flight now to Magaluf or Kavos this coming July, on a credit card if you must, save up a few thousand dollars, step on the plane with an open mind, don't open RVF for the whole trip, then report back!

TBH I could give less fucks if I don't get laid, that be great, I just want my wild party stories with loud music and oceans of alcohol involved.

If this is true and all you want to do is have an "experience" like everybody else, then here is very simple advice. Here is what you do.

Step 1: Book a flight or whatever other transportation (ferry) to [insert party destination X]. Take a few weeks off work and try to go for ~5 days in several different spots.

Step 2: Google "party hostel in [party destination X]", or just do some research on this forum. Book yourself a dorm room for those nights. You can perhaps do a dorm 2 nights and a private 2 nights (this is what I will be doing) but if you really want to do it like the young kids, then just do dorms.

Step 3: Get your look together - buy some cool clothes, get into decent shape, fresh haircut, etc. Get onto the plane with an open mind (this may be the most important thing tbh).

Step 4: When checked-into the hostel and at your dorm, just talk to people. Best place is usually the hostel bar. Grab a beer and talk to whoever. Chances are people will approach you but if they don't, this approach never fails.

A beer is enough [to a guy next to him in bar]: Where are you from man?

Hostel mate: I'm from Germany.

A beer is enough: That's awesome man always wanted to visit Berlin.

Hostel mate: No shit, that's cool. I'm Heinrich. Where are you from?

A beer is enough: My name is [beer], I'm from flyover country in the US but live in NYC now

Hostel mate: Oh fuck, that's sick, New York is paradise. What are you doing out here?

A beer is enough: Just got some days off work so came out to visit [country of party destination X], it's awesome so far! What are you guys doing later?

Hostel mate: Hitting up [club at party destination X], come join man its gonna be sick.

Step 5: Rinse and repeat.

You may think that I am being facetious. I assure you that I am not. Obviously not every group will be cool with having a random join, but it is remarkable how easy it is to meet people in that environment.

I know this works because I've done this. I traveled through Europe solo for almost a month, and met more people than I could imagine. After a few weeks, I had stay at a cheap hotel for a few days because I got too exhausted from constantly having people inviting me to join their group. Not even joking.

It is truly this easy if you have the right attitude bro.

RDF my man you are such a fucking savior sometimes and undoubtedly one of my favorites on this forum. I think there may as well be some companies that sponsor these kinds of tour groups or something along the like, think Contiki was one of them but maybe a younger version of that.

I have it on my bucket list that a year from now once I have enough in my bank account, I am going to try and do one of these. Think a friend did something similar to it in college, not a school study abroad but independent company, he made some of his best friends to date from it moreso than he did at the college itself. A lot of these kids were going to college in other parts of the country itself.

Hey man, when you are young and already know a bit of game and like some culture and are open-minded in terms of eating, go as far ass possible. Go to a totally different continent, ALONE. Trust me it feels really good to be far away from your typical environment. I went all the way from Europe to South America and never regretted it. Just make sure you are into some of the stuff in there and not just for the girls. Remember, you travel for yourself and not for someone else.

Yeah I'd agree with that. Even from the age of 20 to 25, I progressively became a lot less open minded. Immersing yourself in a culture opposite to everything you know whilst you're still young and curious is a great thing to do and will put you more at ease mentally for the rest of your life.

A Beer Is Enough, dude, you have got to stop overthinking this stuff. I have seen other threads and posts of yours and I can tell by your writing style that you're a very analytical person. Nothing wrong with that at all, sometimes I think to much too. But you've got to stop overthinking this.

You're in your late 20's, not your late 50's. If you're on RVF, I bet you workout and are in reasonable shape. That means you don't look like a fat, out of shape 30 year old man.

Here's a little secret while traveling: Most people do not give a shit what your age is. Most will not ask. People travel to have a good time and to get away from it all, they're not going to interview you. Go. Have a good time. If you're really that self conscious about being in your late 20's (which is not old at all), lie and say you're in your mid-20's. There, problem solved. I promise you nobody will call you out on it and demand to see your ID or anything like that.

I'm not sure why so many guys are hating on hanging on with the 18 - 21 year olds. There are some prime girls walking around these party locations and guess what many of them want? A slightly older and more mature guy, which you are.

A Beer Is Enough, go to any party hostel in Budapest and you'll get what you're looking for. Nobody is going to give a shit about your age. A girl isn't going to demand ID in the clubs or boat parties. Go, have fun, make friends with both guys and girls, just be an enjoyable human being to be around, and watch what happens. You'll have a great time, trust me.

Look, stop overthinking, book your plane ticket, and go. Nobody is going to card you or give you shit. You're in your late 20's, not your late 50's, stop overthinking this shit.

Because when you get to your late 50's, you're going to be kicking yourself in the ass for thinking you were "to old" do this shit in your late 20's. You'll look back and realize just how damn young your late 20's really were.

Well to tanswer the question, I'd say Poland.

Poland is a great country to be 18-25 years old and travelling around and there are many reasons:

First are the girls are just so hot in their teens. If you see a group of 5 or more 16-18 year old Polish girls you can bet your ass at least one of them is a stunner, looking like she stepped off the pages of teen vogue.

Poland isn't well known for big age gaps, the biggest I knew about was a 22 year old with a 38 year old boyfriend. But the majority of the time, teens did not hang out with much older men. So enjoy the iron while it's hot.

Poland is much less expensive than the western European countries. Can I assume most 18-25 year olds don't have a lot of coin? Beer in the bars for 1-2 dollars $US. You can go out and have a great time on 10-20 USD each night.

Poland is indeed nice, Summer to Winter it is always really great. Zakopane is really cool if you can stand the cold weather. Krakow is a must for history fanatics, the salt mines are definitely worth to visit, the Eastern part is also pretty (especially North East/Masury region), well Warsaw is well Warsaw so go there to, Hel is quite interesting, there is always something to do in Poland.

Maybe there is something I am not understanding here or something I am wanting that is unusual for a guy perhaps but why does it always have to be about the pussy? I am a little confused even as a guy who hates the "don't put pussy on the pedestal" crowd.

I'll try to explain my desire one more time and hope maybe someone gets what I am getting at. I am not wanting to go to these destinations mentioned on the thread to just get pussy, I am trying to go there because I missed out on the alcohol fueled ragers, awesome parties and even a chance to make friends who engage in that sort a lifestyle when I was 18-22.

Maybe it is because my situation was rare but where I was at in the 18-21 age range, it was really only the frat guys and rich kids who were having that kind of a life. A lot of kids I knew were trying hard to put themselves through college and didn't have as much time or money to get wasted hard in college. Unusual situation maybe, perhaps that is what it is.

I am actually trying to go to these places to experience the party fueled lifestyle, crazy antics and all the alcohol rage that I did not get to experience in my youth. TBH I could give less fucks if I don't get laid, that be great, I just want my wild party stories with loud music and oceans of alcohol involved.

Its just that my anxiety was by the time I can afford to put myself through that, my age will stop me from legally enjoying it or being a part of it all. How unusual and weird it would be to try and experience that at the age of 30, I mean even this forum itself looks down on men over the age of 30 sleeping around and partying hard these days so I cannot imagine how rough it would be to do it in the real world and not have your life ruined.

I just want to get it all out of my system before I turn 30 and life goes downhill in terms of fun, excitement and story worthy experiences for most men.

I understand your problem very well and unfortunately it's very typical with brown guys who spent their youth focusing on education and being beta. This is why it's so unhealthy to deny yourself the college experience by working your way through school instead of taking out more loans. You might set yourself up better for the future, but it it really worth having a lifelong complex like beer has?

To provide some context, I lived that life: great fraternity, huge party school, ragers, spring break, etc. Once I graduated without job prospects I went through a period where I was convinced that I peaked in college. I then frantically tried to relive college through blackout nights with random people. Looking back it was one of the worst periods of my life and I wish I had been able to shut the door on the "college experience" right after college. This period of my life is analogous to your "get a job as a bartender or die trying" philosophy.

Although you have lots of options for a fun post-college life I have to say this: the ship has sailed for you to be a frat star in a traditional college setting. Elite college social circles are tight knit and they don't just let random partiers in. You have to go to school, pledge, live in the frat house, which is just never going to be an option for you. As a cautionary tale, I know a guy who partied his ass off in college and couldn't let go for years after. He decided to recreate the experience again by going back to our school for a masters degree. After a few months he realized that no one in our old frat house knew him. They didn't invite him back to parties, sorority girls wanted nothing to do with him and he wasted a couple years and got into debt just try to get a few extra years of the college experience.

If I were you I would look towards a two step strategy:

1. Save up $10-20k and immediately move to an island in Thailand known for American/European partiers and an expat community. This is going to be the closest thing to a college experience, the people there will be living a carefree nomadic lifestyle, open to meeting other Americans, with constant vacationers and ragers. This type of experience is clearly important to you, I can see you getting more and more unhinged in your posts because of this missing piece in your past.

2. Return to the US and look to work for a certain type of company. A lot of companies have a somewhat "college experience" program for people such as yourself. They hire 100 or so kids out of college for an entry level job, drink in the office, happy hours, networking. Yelp is a good example of a company made up of entirely postgrads. It's a shit job/company, but you'll have the opportunity to meet so many young people, hot girls, and network your way into a lot of parties through your mutual suffering and hatred of the job. It's pretty easy to find out from Linkedin/Glassdoor if the company has this culture so do your research. you'll be able to shoot the shit and drink with dozens of other people your age and party with them after work.

Oldie but goodie, bumped. Thank you for your feedback Graft.

Had to take time off of this forum to gather my thoughts, a lot going on and I was getting unhinged.

I don't ever intend to do anything with college kids and especially not Greek Life related at all, in fact I don't even like the idea of fucking college girls as much. You didn't have to tell me to stay away from college, I knew that a while ago. My thoughts are I need to belong and be around others in similar situation as me, twenties and not committed to kids, marriage and a mortgage. The only thing I did want to do is experience the alcohol raged party destinations in Europe which I am going to do anyways, especially with RDF giving me great ideas.

For bartending, it can be fun no matter what age you do it at if you find the right spot which I will try to do in my new city although I had something setup for a barback weekend gig in my current city. I want to do it moreso because of my love for nightlife and the kind of environment that is there as well as how much I love interacting with people.

I also read about the law of intention, if that is what it is called. The more you want something and the more obsessed you become with it, the more it alludes you. All I am going to do now is set up logistics in my favor, live in the young area of a major city and just do what really brings me to life. My thoughts are I am not the only dude going through this, most of us were not rich frat boys or privileged sorority girls. There must be countless people in their 20s who are well off but lacking socially looking for company and I think I will eventually be able to find some to call friends and have in my life. Hell, if need be and it continues to rot me away I will just take on bartending at a nightclub full time!

I do like Russia and Ukraine a lot after my month trip there but again LTR's is a problem if you want to have fun and get SNLs and stuff like that. Its possible but people marry very early in EE. I've heard good things about Poland though as they are half westernized in terms of promiscuous culture and fashion/trends but still value conservative/traditional family-oriented values. I'd say Poland

Ultimately, we should care more about being effective than simply nobly intentioned. It is not enough to dream well: the true measure is what we achieve.

I cannot think of any other city in the US where someone fresh out of college can move to in order to find others in the same exact situation as them. Even if you make less than 80k, go there and live with roommates.

But then it sucks when you're trying to bring women to your place for a ONS when you have a bunch of roommates

Make our guns illegal and we'll call them "undocumented"

From 23 to 30 I think it's cool to explore a bit of everything:
1 year in North America (skip Canada)
1 year in SE Asia (especially Thailand)
1 year in South America (places like Brazil & Colombia)
1 year in Japan (or Korea) for that dose of an exotic location
1 year in Australia (and a trip to New Zealand)
1 year in Southern Europe (places like Greece, Spain and Italy)
1 year in Western Europe (places like France, Germany and maybe a bit of Northern Europe especially Denmark and Norway)

As a student (18 to 23) there's no better place than Eastern Europe. You party during the semester and travel Europe during summer. Focus on learning 2-3 foreign languages (especially Spanish). You'll also have access to the most beautiful women in their prime without the toxic brainwashing going on in the West. I would definitely avoid any Anglo/Western country at that age, you'll regret it later. If I was in that area of the world I would move.

After 30 you may be thinking of starting a family so I would either go back to EE or to another country from your world trip that matches best your personality, the place where it was easiest to make friends, meet girls and be happy. By that point you should have a lot of choices.

I think you should target specific experiences/events. Things that are more dirty and budget with lots of drinking and a hook up culture so you can get that gritty edge later in life. Nothing high end, you'll get blown out by the big ballers and guys with more game/bank/life experience.

1. St. Paddy's Day in Chicago
2. Mardi Gras in New Orleans
3. Spring Break in Cabo / Florida
4. Running of the Bulls or La Tomatina in Spain
5. Full Moon Party
6. Ultra Music Festival in Miami
7. Coachella
8. Vegas pool parties (don't do Memorial or Labor Day)

Hit some college weekend shit too. Like Alabama/LSU and stay in New Orleans for the partying. I would probably do a Bus Tour like Contiki in Europe where you rush through a bunch of cities and get wasted and hook up with Australian girls the whole time.

I remember researching a few years back and this looked like a blast: https://thepinkpalace.com/

Can you name some of those islands?

The problem of Thailand is all the popular island names contain "Koh" in them so it's confusing as heck. Phi Phi is the only place I remember well because it's super famous due to a movie. All the other places blend together because they're fundamentally the same: long stretch of beach, same kind of food and occasionally things like "magic milkshakes" (you can fly higher than a kite if that's your aim).

But I definitely went to two islands that had fairly large Scandinavian populations and had Swedish restaurants catering to them too. I think it may had been Koh Lanta and Koh Samui. But nowadays it seems like vlogs indicate the Thai Islands have shifted into a couples' destination and a lot of the moon parties seem sausages fest like (whereas in the 2000s when I went the ratio was like 3 white women for each western guy. Guys didn't care about the beach much in the 2000s and arguably still don't. They just go to the Thai islands to look for sex. Social media in a nutshell ruined the Thai Islands just like Kiev?).

But all over SEA you meet Scandinavians. Even a random hotel in Saigon I met some Norwegian women and went drinking with them.
