OP
I appreciate your extreme honesty, and respect you for it.... because what you have shared clearly opens the door for judgments and criticisms from others.
My main thought, you are DEPRESSED and have been for a long time (before your mom died), you just don’t know it.... actually, you do know it, you just don’t understand it or have not labeled it.
But knowing is half the battle, so there you go. I do not know ANYONE with normal brain chemistry and neurotransmitters who would sit at a computer for so long and unemployed. Meaning, something biological is going on. But, your crappy decisions have reinforced your depression thus hurling you further into the realm of, apathy, depression and hell.
I am sure mental illnesses have big stigmas where you are from, so, I understand if you don’t recognize the tiger for the tiger.
Take your money, see a physiatrist before anything else. Research supplements for low apathy or depression (5htp, L dopa, lots of fish oil, and adaptogens come to mind). Try a phycadelic or dissociative, this has a very good chance of causing you to rethink your life, and bring healing to your brain biology.
Try some magic mushrooms, some ayahuasca, LSD or ketamine... you need a kick in the ass and something to change your perspective... and these substances can do that! Yes, this time the answer really is drugs. Just do it, try it, do something!!!
