The fragile masculinity argument never bothered me. I've had sex with women as young as 18 and as old as 32. I'm probably one of the only mid 20s guys in my circle with that kind of range. It just doesn't matter much to me as long as the girl is a consenting adult, reasonably attractive, and is pleasant to be around.

What bothers me more with these types of debates is some women take it to a level where older men who go after college aged women are either power hungry, a sociopath/psychopath, or just guys that prey on the "weak minded" when these things aren't true in most cases. Expats that go to Southeast Asia tend to get this the most, its just a very extreme argument honestly and it ironically assumes women are too weak when younger to make up their own minds. That can admittedly be true with some girls, but others usually go the route of keeping all options open while they still have them.

Let's face it: whether it's PC or not, if a woman in her forties walks down the street with her teenage daughter, men of all ages, including the mom's age and above, will look at the daughter, not the mother. Although according to this hag, they all have a fragile masculinity.

Even women will admit it when their guard is down. They know their bodies slowly go downhill after that age. When we debate peak I always make the point that 18 was the point where things start deteriorating slightly, and it seems I have been proven right. See what this data means? The only category of relationship where the man is reliably older than the woman is where the age gap is up to 4 years between the two. If the age gap is 5 years or more, it's far more likely the couple is homosexual than heterosexual. And that data source is likely collected with a hell of a lot more rigour than this bullshit experiment did.

These trends are very likely to be reflected in the US as well. I can't quite sweat the data from the US Census website, but someone else probably could.

Do you have citation for this claim? I have crossed into many high profile people who were gay in my career. And I don't work in fashion or any of those faggot dominated industries.

Also it is known that gay people have more disposable income since they are two working man with no kids etc.

I met my current girl when she was 18. I was her outdoor survival skills instructor for a week long program. I was 32 years old at the time. Ran into her again later when she was 20.
Started communicating closely after that.
Turned out she'd had a crush from her time in that program. Along with a few of her similar age peers.

I don't agree with the 1/2-your-age-plus-7 rule. Especially when you consider how old she'll be when you're a certain age, and the fact that as you both get older the age gap becomes less significant, not to mention fertile / youthful years.

I would tend to agree, although my frame of reference is somewhat limited in the matter despite living in Toronto I would say that the gay men I've known be it at work or otherwise were quite successful and well off financially.
