More worrying was the attitude shift. One guy even muttered "go back to America" when I was reading an English language roadsign.

Frankly,, after all my time in Ukraine/Belarus I've come to see these places as long term spots.

I've had some cute girls here and I imagine I could have something really good if I stayed longer...but I need to finish med school somewhere decent. A former Soviet Union education isn't my goal ( Moscow/St.pete excepted)

Lviv is nice to visit though, like Krakow was pre-EU, early 2000's.

Metro Club

If you like your pussy barely legal, then Metro is the place to be. Average age is probably about 18. This is the only club in Lviv that black dudes are allowed in to!(there are a fair few black dudes in Lviv as they come here to study medicine, as it's dirt cheap).

Perhaps this is moot now since Deb is banned but I asked my black friend who spent significant time in Ukraine and he said this was bullshit. He was irate that someone actually said that because it's not true.

This would not surprise me, I went to Fashion once there were no blacks. I went to Metro and they are almost all downstairs in the R n B room.

Maybe IKE can confirm if this is a myth

Sorry, have little info to offer. I'm absolutely ancient and work almost completely through social circle and day game. Nightclubs are probably just about the worst venue for a shy and unimposing guy like me.

Considering the fact that i'm English, not a lot [Image: wink.gif]

Being American has no advantage to being from any other Western nation. In fact their favourite country seems to be Britain, they are crazy about Britain here, you see loads of people wearing Union Jack clothing. I feel more patriotic here than back home hehe.

I notice this too in poland. A certain subset of people have a more positive view of britain than america. It's definitely not a small percentage. But chicks do dig americans quite a bit, and still view it as the great place. Just depends.

For russians America is number 1 place they want t ogo, that includes Ukrainians ,however the western side of ukraine leans away from russia and more towards europe ,thus i ca nsee the brit thing beign better. Russians, including eastern ukrainians have more in common with americans, mainly narcissism and materialism, lol.
10 years ago more polish leaned toward america then they do now, the whole George Bush ,wars in the middle east might have changed that. Interesting that in surveys phillipines followed by poland is most loving of America,I think UK is number 3.Although u.k. govt supports usa foreign policy ,ALOT of uk citizens do not. personally i see it as a more liberalization of the uk, conforming to continental european liberalism and socialist ideas. They must have loved obama(biggest con man in history).it annoys me, i once met a gir lwh osaid she not sure about coming to america becasue of geOrge bush. I was like "fool". Mind you ,she had no proble m staying in ukraine where thier president is corrupt and all of thier govt . I TOLD HER I AM SURE America wont miss her and can find someone else the make 50k dollar per year while she continues to make 200 a month and i rubbed it in that ,those Americans are paying her salary considering we give ukraine financial aid.lol, actually i tell my mother in law we are paying her govt the money that pays her pension. yeah i know it sounds mean, but don't they realize the avg american has nothing to do with the govts foreign policy and could care less?

Mostly it has to do with mentality.Girls have told me they regard Americans as short sighted and linear while they regard Europeans as more complicated in general.

What's with all the t shirts you see with the British flag! Is it a love of Britain or they just like the red white and blue pattern? Wherever I go in EE from Abkhazia to the Blatic I see hundreds of chicks wearing clothes with the union flag emblazoned across it.

Maybe they express their success in scoring a flag from an english guy.

I'd treat it only as a fashion thing (another example could be USSR Red Star or Che Guevara, but for politic reasons those two are banned in some parts of the world). I wouldn't say Union Jack has a hidden meaning or it shows emotions towards British nation.

In Cuba whenever you see locals wearing anything with a Canadian flag or a Canadian sport's team logo, you know it was given to them as a gift by Canadian tourists (who are plentiful there). The British flags in EE could mean the same, but could also mean a superficial fashion especially in punkish/emo/rebel girls chicks whose rights of passage must include like for the late 1970s British punk/anarchy identity.
