In my experience, it's best to make the girl pay for her own trip if you haven't fucked her yet. It can be understood that you'll pay for her expenses while she's staying with you, but she needs to take care of a significant portion of the plane ticket herself. If she gives you some good sex, then you can decide to help cover the cost of her transportation if you feel like it or she has genuine hardship. However, as Pitt points out, it's not a hard and fast rule. If she's really hot and fun and you're sure enough that she's DTF to take a chance on it, and you can afford it, then why not? Like Pitt said, you can test her compliance by asking her to stay for a couple of weeks instead of just four days.
I've had girls fly or drive long distances to see me and I did help some of them with their transportation expenses, but it was AFTER they fucked me. If any of them had come and stayed with me and immediately put me in the friend zone, there's no way I would have reimbursed them for any part of their travel.
I've known a couple of guys who helped pay for girls to come stay with them and then the girls friendzoned them and never put out. It was very humiliating for the guys involved. Even if they didn't say anything, you could tell the girl wasn't "with" them because of the body language and demeanor when they were around each other. It was very awkward.

Flying out girls seems kind of pointless, why not just game the girls in your city? Your basically just gambling by flying out a girl you never met. I'd probably only want girls to fly out and visit me if I had met and fucked them while I was traveling.

Ok, weird change of plans. So I just got notice I have to fly out to her city for work again, I'm flying out tonight and have the wkend free. For me, it comes down to the classic money v. game paradox.
Quite simply: I wouldn't do it unless this girl is extremely invested, even if you can afford it. Investing that much in a girl you just made out with is basically putting your balls in her purse. Don't inflate the expectations of these women.
Now, as was previously said, if she's given herself to you in every which way, and is literally begging to see you, and offering herself completely? That's a different story if your bank account is tight.
Logically speaking though, if you're making enough money to be able to afford such a thing, you'll get a higher ROI in your local market, and there's a very good chance there's a girl dying to meet you, and fuck your brains out without you having to pay for a plane ticket.
Choose accordingly. Your bankroll is way more important than even top shelf pussy until your passive income has you covered.

I agree that many of the strategies in this thread could work. My opinion is that your decision should be based on how much you value the money and if you will be able to remain outcome independent after buying the flight..... and the girl's personality. We don't know much about the girl and how she is communicating with you so it is difficult to say.
One thing to be aware of is the likelihood that she agrees to the trip and then cancels. It's not uncommon for attention seeking girls to agree to something like this without intending to follow through. Girls will do this purely for attention and the validation from knowing that the guy will spend the money on them.
Something much more common is for her to agree and then change her mind at the last minute. Girls don't always think through their plans. Also, you paying for the flight can backfire because her attraction for you can decrease once she mentally processes that you paid for the chance to bang her. On the other hand, there are girls that wouldn't consider doing something like this if the guy didn't pay.

So, she was trying to get a free trip to LA. It doesn't mean, however, that she wouldn't have fucked you. If you had said that you would reimburse her for the ticket after she arrived, it would have put pressure on her to put out. But, if you had said that she likely would have tried to get a ticket from one of her other Instagram followers before she used your offer as a last resort.

Absolutely. Why not? If you're dating girls much younger than you, they're likely going to be financially immature, until they get their shit sorted out. I don't think there is any dilemma here at all. If you can afford it, why would you not invite a potential mate out to visit?
That having been said, it would seem in this case, my theory wouldn't really pan out on the positive side. But, I dunno. $400 is not very much to me. So, I think, in almost all situations, I would do it. Even if you only log a 25% success rate, that's still only the 25% of what you tried. And if you didn't try at all, you'd never even get that 25%
