I remember being impressed with his work at the time, and I've tried finding his online store again but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Reminds me of "The Angelus" by Millet.



There is something inherently human about a painting in a pastoral setting.

And let's not forget Monet, who could make even a couple of haystacks seem somehow infused with significance.

I never understood the fascination with Frida Kahlo. Having read books about that time period, apparently she was considered "hot" and "exotic" during those days.

She slept her way through Europe banging all the European artists of the day. Hell even Leon Trotsky hit that during his time in Mexico before he got killed.



I never understood it. I could never get over her mustache.

The sad part is that she's been seeing as the representation of Mexican women world wide and its because of her the world thinks Mexican women are ugly and have mustaches. It is what it is.
