It's worse than that.

Elliot Rodgers was on PUAhate so therefore it was the manosphere's fault he killed those people.

Player Supreme did an analysis on Rogers predicting the dude would snap.

That video analysis of Elliot Rodger is eye opening -- I've never seen a video of him before. I won't bash him for his body language and awkward mannerisms. I've also had poor body language in the past. It wasn't until I met a member of this forum for the first time that I had someone point it out to me, and I greatly respect him for that.

To me, the real underlying moral of that story and the main one in this thread is that there's a severely lacking element of social mentorship in middle class (or upper middle class) society. Just one older or more mature man in his life could have pointed these things out to him -- if not his dad, then maybe an instructor, TA, relative, etc. There are so many times when lost young men like Rodger could have been built up into someone better, but there was no one around to teach him.

We can blame soy, feminism, media programming, lack of physical work, etc. But let's not forget that the whole concept of older or more mature men mentoring the younger men is completely foreign to modern mainstream, socially-acceptable American society.

I've seen the Elliott Rodgers video. I'm not buying into the body language and quirky-ness being the cause. The not getting success with women is causing him to become lose confidence. If this guy was 6ft, he wouldn't need to be jacked. He wouldn't need to be tall or jacked if he went for Asian women but he had an inferiority complex about being Asian which prevented from that. Obviously there were a hundred things he could have done to get a girl but these days the standards women have are much higher. He was living in LA if I recall correctly. You can blame this guy all day but he's just the first of many incels society is creating. Game saves lives, yes, but just admit it's a uphill battle for young men all the way and the genetic lottery will play a bigger role.

Regardless of whether it's a matter of confidence or body language / quirkiness, the point is that there was no one around to teach him better.

I guess that story you wrote came true in a way, Roosh.

His beard should have been a dead giveaway of insanity:

In addition he looks more like a SJW white non-Hispanic Hispanic.

There are millions of potential Ramos' and Rogers out there in US society.

Our society is perfectly designed to manufacture these crazies at a startling rate.

If you sat down and designed a program to make as many crazy homicidal spree/revenge shooters/bombers as possible, if you intentionally wanted to create a era of US history in which mass shootings increased and became normalized...you could NOT DO BETTER than the system we have now.

Take young men and indoctrinate them from birth that "they are monsters". Then eliminate the US military, farming, and other brute physical labor, as a way to gain some success. Then eliminate marriage and family. What you have left is about 5-10% of the boy population that COMPLETELY INSANE.

Any of them can snap at any time and start killing people.

You can't stop them.

You can't detect them.

You can't ban weapons...they can make explosives out of common household materials. Or drive cars at high speeds into crowds.

What's the solution: THERE IS NONE.

Eventually this will grow and destabilize the country, the law enforcement agencies will go crazy and lock down every possible behavior, but it won't fix anything. Eventually this leads to universal male criminality. Then men, destroyed as a gender, will really go crazy and then you have a *real* war and women lose. Then we have Gilead and universal female servitude.

Asymmetric Threats. You can't fight them.

PS. If you want to get your comment instantly banned on any discussion forum, mention this dilemma. Of all the thing that strikes instant, insane and reflexive fear into any woman, it's this issue. Why? Because this is the root of their problem with the universe and they know it. They bred teenage males to be homicidal, the most aggressive killing machines on the planet, for a million years. Now they suddenly don't want it any more. Oops. Ain't gonna happen ladies. Read a book called "the Gate to Women's Country" by Uber-man-hater author Sheri s. Tepper.

I'm confused. The military still exists, so does marriage, and so do millions of well paying blue color jobs. And I seriously doubt there are "millions" of these people out there. Calling this post hyperbolic would be an understatement.

Sorry, but I don't agree with this or what BlueMark said when it comes to Elliott Rodger. All the info you guys are putting out is correct, but it leaves out one important thing: Some people are just weird as hell, and no amount of guidance or help can correct that.

This matters most *at first* when it comes to men, because women will instantly turn off when approached by someone "creepy." And if you think height or looks will change that, try getting a male model to go up to a stranger and say something "off." Women will call security, no matter how "hot" the guy.

For men, this situation is different. Men will put up with creepy and strange so long as the girl is hot. Hell, some men (ahem) have even been known to prefer odd-but-attractive women.

But men pay the toll later on, when these insane women do (surprise!) insane things inside of marriage, and the guys get taken to the cleaners when they're hit with a divorce suit.

But all that said, I've known men who are just not right for one reason or another and put women off. Elliott Rodger and the Annapolis shooter seem like those sorts of guys.

While some PUA lessons generally help average guys, my guess is that these are not average guys who happen to be awkward or shy. These are emotionally and mentally disturbed men, and reading Mystery and Neil Strauss won't change a thing.

We need to learn to draw the line when it comes to some men (or people in general) who have deeper, more serious issues that go beyond what we all deal with. You can't cure diabetes with a book; you also can't cure mental illness (no matter how slight) with a few PUA lessons.
