I have not been to chisinau but have been to many other FSU cities(minsk, kiev, odessa, lvov, etc) and have been to Tiraspol in Moldova. For example, I've lived in downtown provincial capital for 180 usd/month. Dates with a girl usually run around 6 dollars for coffee/dessert. Food is maybe 50/usd per week...but I love cooking, so I usually spend closer to 100 at the farmer's markets (a nice cut of pork with fresh basil and garlic, fried eggplant, garden tomatoes, and raspberries + almonds for dessert...mmm)

Get a local to help you and be prepared to spent several day(or longer), searching for an apartment.

If you don't plan on spending at least a couple months, don't bother. I'd say it takes time to get a quality and hot girl, 18-24 y.o
If you prefer older girls, it gets easier and faster.

The longer you stay, the more the investment pays off. As many have already said, FSU is not for quick bangs.


Let me know if you have more specific $ questions. I've gotten pretty good at getting bang for my buck. Its a lot easier to spend wisely than to have to work for more money.

Nope, but wish I was there. I would hit Drive tonight and Sat. There is a Russian bartender (blond, gym rat, pro-usa) - speaks perfect English. Good shit, hit him up for the current intel on the city. Check out "City" after "Drive" slows down. Head to "MalDova" - a modern mall to see women during the day. There is a decent club on Sunday night, its located in the Botanico district. Can't remember the name, ask around. Lots of women, but its a bit on the Russian side, so keep an eye out for assholes.

We got faced controlled in Drive, not sure why as we were dressed elegant and they knew we are foreigners.
But it does not matter as we have been in Cocos, which is fancy bar with some spaces in between to dance, super hot girls there, top quality!
As for the attitude in Chisinau some girls refused to talk to strangers at all but some do, my only lay was from love.mail.ru, attractive blond 27, skinny and a bit crazy.
Got many leads, in Cocos got 2 numbers from 2 girls both 8, one had a make out there. need to invest more date/s.
Day game, about 20 approaches indirect, no success. Now I am in "Malldova", will try here a bit.
English, young mostly talk and upper class girls like in Cocos also.
Looks like a good place if you stay for a while, better than Ukraine IMO.

Too bad about Drive. I was always solo, perhaps thats the trick. Fucking idiots. Glad to see you liked Cocos, I never hit that place - but will next time. Your experience pretty much parallels mine, except that I never work the day shift. Spot on about the extended stay - my results improved the longer I stayed. No intel about Tiraspol. Hit up Vorkuda, he's been there and raves about it.

Looks- Ukrainians on average looks better, but same culture of high heels, fashion etc.
In Chisinau they are more intelligent and good character, on average more girls speaks better English, phone numbers are very easy to get from 8,9 and you have to invest time and dates as girls are suspicious that you are a sex tourist. In my dates all girls offered to pay their bill but surely I insisted and payed.
Good place for LTR or/and having multiple "girlfriends".

Never been in Kishinev in November, but IMO you should wait the "real" winter to go there, the city (well, at least Centru) is wonderful when snowy. And girls are at their best in fur coats and fuck-me boots. FSU in winter is enchanting.

I mean websites where locals search, not those easy to google short-term apartments for foreigners that are absolutely overpriced. I don't mind if the site is in romanian, it's close enough with Spanish and understand most of it.

Check this site. Humanly priced apartments, especially for a one-month rent. Radu, the manager, is a reliable and very helpful guy. I like the apartments on Decebal av (the A33 is quite nice, great view), just above Jumbo mall - good mall for daytime game.

The Decebal 23 building has a guarded outdoor parking. If you really want an underground parking, your only option is to rent an apartment in a "last generation" modern building, as Crown Plaza in Centru (google it, you'll find rentals there), but it will be more expensive.

Really invaluable info, thanks! I don't mind overground parking as long as it's guarded. But of course underground is better. I was wondering if it's possible to strike a deal with a nearby public underground parkings (those that you pay per hours) to rent a parking place for a month at lower price. This is possible in Madrid, but then again Madrid is full of underground parkings.
