It is disgusting to me that Washington D.C. was in first place on that list during that last round of data collection.
I wish you hadn't pointed that out. I was having a good time in this thread.
The whole city is awash with money stolen from the rest of the country!
Every big corporation in the world - including most international ones are sending out their well-paid lobbyists to Washington.
But what is even more amazing is that they beat the billionaires of Silicon Valley and the scores of multi-millionaires at Wallstreet.
I once talked with a girl whose father has 10 mio. $ in net assets. When she came to the European equivalent of the US - Brussels, she talked about how impressed she was at the lobbyists. She said that she got aroused and her panties got drenched fully the first time she talked to a 38yo guy making 2 mio. $ for being a lobbyist to a multinational corporation. He barely saw her arousal and remained "professional" as most of those blokes have zero Game, but the way she described him was akin to talking about a Rock Star. Though to be fair - she was working in the same field, so that certainly skewed her interest giving the guy a huge leg up in status.
Washington is awash with those blokes. Plus there are legions of well-paid individuals who are doing the real work- drawing up the legal framework and policies which are being signed off by the politicians who would never be able to read it all anyway.
