Jacinda Ardern, the 37 year old socialist prime minister of New Zealand, has announced after less than three months in office that she is pregnant. Of course she refers to the father as her "partner" who she has also announced will be a stay at home dad and primary care giver. Perhaps this information would have been important for someone taking one the role of national leader.
