Interesting and thoughtful quote for social media in general.

However, ironically, it doesn't apply to anyone trying to game hot, desirable girls.

The place to see and be seen by those types of girls is Instagram.

No matter how much you hate it, you have to play the game.

(Otherwise, you can opt out and decide that Instagram-type girls don't matter to you. This is a perfectly valid option.)

Hey guys - instagram question. Was out with a buddy Friday night and got a girls number as she was leaving with her group. Very cute. Much younger. I’m only interested in discreet. We’ve texted a couple times and she asked for my IG. I just signed up 2 months ago - mostly pics from a roadtrip I did in my Porsche and some biking pics. I don’t think it’s linked to FB and my real full name isn’t used anywhere. If I give her my IG can she figure out who I am? Or should I just say I don’t have IG?

Lol why the paranoia, you married or something? Chances are she probably won't go digging and find your real name, but she could look at your followers list to find one of your friends, look your friend up on Facebook, and then search his friends' list on Facebook for your first name to find your profile or even looked at tagged pictures to try and find you.

Up to you, but I would just say I deleted my social media or something.

Anybody aware of an instagram handle that plays up the EDM Festival/Spirituality/Wellness vibe? If I were to go all in, that’d be my first plan...But I imagine you’d need videos/stories from several different music festivals, not just a once a year post...

What if you lived in a city like New Orleans and you worked a regular job, how would you play that up? Would you basically post pics of new Orleans culture, cuisine, and nightlife and show how you are plugged into to the pulse of the city?

Seems like this could be a very easy way to get new girls once you get the right lifestyle set up.

Seems more expensive than nightclub game though. Do y’all hire professional photographers? Set up short term contracts or is it more of a one-time deal and you reach out to photographers that fulfill your niche?

So tough to take travel pictures that have the full landscape and actually have you in the photo. usuaully need to stand 20 feet from the camera which doesnt show your face close up. to get the full picture when traveling.

going to try taking both. and using the multiple image per post on instagram.

my instagram has some cool photos at the best locations for those countries... but 99% of my photos are me about 20 feet from the camera.. Lol .

Yeah, there's tons of guys that play up the EDM thing. It works well. To find them, search the festival name under locations and look at most recently-tagged photos.


Dudes are getting tons of poon because they are going after festival girls and they often have a ton of social photos, etc. Here's a random guy that probably has potential to get as much play as many guys in this thread if not more: http://instagram.com/aangel_perez.

Basically the prototype that works well no matter what city you're in is "cool, socially-accepted, attractive insider". So lots of nightlife photos, you hanging out with friends, doing cool stuff, etc.

The lone wolf archetype doesn't play at all.

No need to hire professional photographers. Just get a good phone and put up a couple high quality photos of yourself. Rest should be social photos or photos showing your lifestyle.

For example, yesterday I went out with a friend. We just checked out a couple of bars in my hometown, chatting up a few girls, having a good time, but nothing special.
I thought about taking some pictures during the evening for posting a story or whatever, but wasn't really sure, what kind of pictures to take? I also thought, well this is not cool enough anyway.
On the ride home, I checked my social media accounts and saw that barely anyone else was online or had posted something etc.
I.e. my evening was cooler than that of most other people in my circle, but 98% of them will not know about it.

Do you guys have any recommendations, rules, articles for someone, who just isn't used to post stuff on social media?
Part of the problem with me not making any headway with Instagram game, is that I have that (false) modesty thing going and I'm just not sure what to post.

Thanks, I'll followed some local guys with a lot of followers, but a life style and posts, I think I can emulate.

Thinking about it, I guess it's partly an inner game issue, feeling like I have nothing worthy to post. Something to reflect on...

No, you're just a private guy and don't have an excessive need for external validation. It's understandable. You just have to do it anyway. Be a Salesman.

That "Instantical" tool likes pictures from all the other botted accounts using the service automatically. That's probably the fastest way to get your account banned. Instagram will catch you.

But in one sense, I do agree that it doesn't really matter if you get shadowbanned or not. All it does is preventing you from hitting the explore page and hashtags. Whether that is relevant or not to you depends on who you are and your goals with Instagram.

I have had several chicks hitting me up who claimed they found me through the explore page. So I try being somewhat careful as to not mess my account up too much.
