Paradise Papers - the rich stay rich...

A data leak brings politicians, super-rich and corporations in Erklärungsnot. The Paradise Papers show how people and businesses worldwide use tax havens.

Trump minister earns money with Russian gas. US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross benefits as a private businessman from doing business with a firm owned by the son-in-law of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kremlin-affiliated businessmen.

Facebook and Twitter got Russian money. Russian star investor Yuri Milner was apparently provided with hundreds of millions of dollars from the Kremlin when he joined the social media companies Twitter and Facebook a few years ago. The purchase of the shares of the short message service Twitter was therefore co-financed by the Russian state bank VTB, the investment in Facebook from Gazprom Investholding.

Documents show how international corporations avoid billions in taxes. The sporting goods manufacturer Nike built only on the Bermudas and later in the Netherlands, a system that saved the Group outside the US billion euros in taxes.

Panama papers, FIFA leaks. I'm sure there is a way more. But what will happen? Nothing because as it seems most of the stuff is legal. Affordable for those that are already rich. Laws are made for them. The ones who pay taxes are the poor ones and the stupid ones.
The phrase the rich get richer is not just an empty phrase. Soon there will be clashes when a few hold the most property and wealth against billions of people that own nothing or get owned by a few rich ones and the cooperation. The middle class get bleed out

The inequality of wealth distribution has now become grotesque: there are 1,542 dollar billionaires in the world, together they have a fortune of six trillion dollars. Thus, the concentration of wealth is as high as at the beginning of the 20th century.

Most wealth is not made by people that got rich by their own business, today its inherited and spread into a system of super rich that not even pay taxes for it. And it get more and more with a system that favours this.
In Germany and Austria most people can not afford a house even when they work 30 or 40 years. In the US after university people get owned by the banks with student loans.
There had be always people that messed it up and others that did become wealthy. Thats not the issue but the whole system now is created to support this even more. How can it be that you work your whole life and end up in the welfare system? There is something wrong with the system.
Like the Migrant invasion, the ones that suffer are the ordinary people but the elites put their agenda. At the end its a complete system to control the masses and hold them in a form of capitalist consume slavery.

We will stand tall in the sunshine
With the truth upon our side
And if we have to go alone
We'll go alone with pride

For us, these conflicts can be resolved by appeal to the deeply ingrained higher principle embodied in the law, that individuals have the right (within defined limits) to choose how to live. But this Western notion of individualism and tolerance is by no means a conception in all cultures. - Theodore Dalrymple
