I'm much more sympathetic to Harvey than to Cosby. Whereas Cosby drugged and nonconsensually raped his women, Harvey was straightforward with his intentions: "fuck me and I'll (maybe) get you a part in a movie." The actresses knew exactly what they were doing and at the time weighed the reward vs the risk and chose to fuck him for the chance of a big break. These actresses are all adults of sober minds when they chose to fuck him based on his words. and Harvey did not force them to do anything they didn't want to do.

Apparently, Harvey followed through on many of his promises as well: Uma Thurman and Jennifer Lawrence's and others big breaks came after they fucked Harvey. They'd be nobodies now if they hadn't. They're silent on the Harvey issue because they realize that 5 minutes of having Harvey fuck them was worth it for a lifetime of world fame, Oscars, $100s of millions, etc. I'm sure there were many times where the girl did not get the promised part, but again this goes back to the risk-vs-reward decision-making of the girl when she chose to fuck Harvey.

I think the problem really is that Harvey is a fat, disgusting slob who treated all his employees like shit. Everyone who he wasn't making money for finally had enough when they sensed an opportunity for attack.

This reminds me of a time when I was 18 or 19 and spent a summer living on the streets of Hollywood. I snuck in a party in the courtyard of the Egyptian theater. Within 15 minutes of me being there a B+ comedic actor sidled up to me and chatted for a few minutes with something like, "You don't look like you belong here but you have a cool style." I'm a teenager and I was thinking, "that's cool! This actor is down-to-earth and really cool." But then he soon told me, "I have a movie that's about to start soon. I can get you a part if you wanna come get high with me in my limo right now." He had a male assistant there who winked at me and encouraged me to join him. Now this was an actor who was not publicly known to be gay as well but I figured out what was up. I was only 18 and I thought, "WTF!!" but I was still of rational mind to decline the offer and promptly left. I later found out that Will Smith and Brad Pitt got their first breaks in a similar matter to this with certain big-time producers.
