Both Wikipedia and Infogalatic say that the the 25th dynasty of Egypt is "known as the Nubian Dynasty or the Kushite Empire." Don't know a lot about the Nubians and/or Kushites but it's my understanding that they were black (Robert E. Howard definitely thought so). Still, I'd imagine that the Egyptians they ruled over were from the same stock as all other Egyptian dynasties (Semitic, I think). Regardless, it seems like a stretch of delusional levels to infer from this that whites "stole" all their achievements from blacks.
Ethnically and racially, Egypt and the Nile are a continuum. South Sudan is solid dark black African, north Sudan is a brown semitic mix, with Blacks and lighter browns and everything in between, while north of that, Upper Egypt (upper as in upstream the Nile, the south of the country, think Upper Canada), is a light brown semitic mix. And finally northern Egypt (Cairo to Alexandria) is a mix of semitic Mediterranean with a bit of African.
The rulers of ancient Egypt were mostly from Upper Egypt with some input from both southern and northern peoples. Race wasn't a hard barrier, and that's also true of the Roman Empire, which had emperors of north African and middle eastern stock.
Some African civilizations were fairly advanced, with libraries, universities and notable constructions, but they were more like the organic southern civilization outposts in the Sahel and coastal east Africa tied with Mediterranean and Indian basin civilizations than the origins of ancient civilizations (which shouldn't detract from their quality).
