Just wanted to say I enjoyed your notes on Buddhism. I have been meaning to learn more about the subject for some time now. It's an incredibly interesting topic.
I am going to be ordering "What The Buddha Taught" on Amazon this week.

I hate bumping older threads but has anyone been to a temple. I want to go and try to relax but is that ok? They wont turn me away?

There are temples and there are temples. I am not sure how things are where you are from, but google it a bit, read about the tradition and lingeage of any temple around your area. They might have a website, and usually there is a satsang or some sort of weekly meetings for first-timers.
You don't need to go looking for "temples" per se, but there are meditation centers for different lineages. The thing is finding one that suits you.
