That is open to abuse by those who want to get a youtube account banned right?

Nothing could stop paid shills like Share Blue from bombing someones chat with stuff the auto-admin will see?

The new tech (most probably AI tech) to control, manipulate and censor the content of livestreams and live chats in real time was probably one of the things being uploaded/implemented onto the website during the time youtube was offline worldwide.

Are people still shocked by this? Start using BitChute.
Why would anyone imagine that SuperChats that give money directly to YouTube/Google/Left are a good method for opposing ... YouTube/Google/Globalist Left?
I get that ultimately every method of financially supporting people whose content you find valuable is compromised, but each superchat is 30% going to Google. If you just used PayPal the cut is 3%...

Youtube is the biggest video site out there and people are lazy. Just go out and ask 100 people on the street what bitchute is and other video hosting sites and see how many know about them.

Time to make the move to d.Tube (decentralised) and Real.Video (centralised). The latter is getting about 150K visits / day.

There's also Bit.Tube (decentralised), which is growing.

BitChute (decentralised) is the biggest and is probably getting 500K per day now. Seems you can upload your videos with an account.

All of these sites have grown quite rapidly this year for obvious reasons. Get in now and you could get the benefits of being an early adopter.

The trend is in. Tech giants have rapidly moved into the positions of censors. This will result in the growth of new pastures. Just as the rise of alt-media was put in play by the removal of conservative and other voices form the mainstream.

Bitchute is okay, the quality sucks ass, and you'd better rent a server and install webtorrent on it and seed your own videos or they will die on the vine! Little to no support I can't find answers to the most basic of questions and they ignore me on discord. Also my automatic uploading from youtube just randomly broke.

DTube, live streaming doesn't fucking work at all, no support anywhere, questions ignored on discord.

These platforms have a long way to go to catch up to youtube.

Alternative tech is a good option of last resort but the very nature of the beast pushes in the direction of one large entity like Youtube. It's not in the nature of 90% of people (or more) to bother with more than one service.

Trump has to step up at this point. There's no other way. Decent people are being ground underfoot by these Silicon Valley giants all the time and while the momentary outrage boosts support for Republicans it will bleed them out in the long run.

We're getting a glimpse into what the world will be like post-Trump, where Right wingers are flat out banned from accessing any digital services while ANTIFA is organizing literal lynch mobs on Twitter, and anyone who doesn't think this is going to metastasize to their internet connection entirely, their water, their electricity and their gas is kidding themselves.

We are not long from the day that the state will sew a figurative Swastika on your coat by depersoning you from 21st century technology as well as any corporate services, relegating you to stand on the corner looking for day-work like an illegal Mexican laborer.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

Well at least it's an answer, not the one I wanted to hear though:

I can't really fault them for having trouble with the live streaming, that requires a shit ton of bandwidth, it's a whole different ballgame than just static videos. Imagine 500 people all watching a 2.5mbps data rate video all at once and there's what live streaming will cost ya: 1250 which is more than a single server's gigabit ethernet card can handle so you're looking at 2 servers just for that one dude.

Hard to tell how they're doing the live streaming, maybe they're using P2P for it, most people don't have much more than 3mbps of upload bandwidth so you'd need a lot of peers to make it work.

Dont get me wrong, I remember the days where people were saying "youtube, Google? Whats that?". Films started pushing them years ago and it caught on.

You are right that pastures new will grow because two forces are at work, 1: where youtube is pushing people away and 2: less invasive censorship on the other platforms.

I gave up on DTube since it doesn't appear they're going to get live working anytime soon.

Signed up for a DLive account (using my YT account to log in hah!) and trying it out. Seems find to me so far, they even have an android app already! My iOS device plays the stream through Safari.

https://dlive.tv/

https://dlive.tv/newest/all

Compatible with OBS and all that jazz, just had to set Keyframe interval to 2 which is common for people who index your stream for thumbnails a lot.

It runs on the Lino blockchain and you get paid in that, however you can cash out with PayPal or BTC if you want, and people can buy Lino coins with a credit card.

Also seems to be very active, I have several more viewers on my 24/7 stream than we ever did on youtube. Although any attempts at 24/7 with YT got me blocked for copyright.

This is what I was hoping to see when blockchain started becoming popular. It will be interesting to see how or even if Kim pulls of the complete decentralization of a entire platform.

The no hosting is the interesting part for me. I also want to see how he addresses the domain registration since that is probably the biggest weak point when talking about censorship.

Moderators pulled from the community are easy prey for incursions by outside sources. I dont have any hope for such a platform being governed by people not in a tight-knit and controlled group. Its too easy to penetrate from the outside to drive an agenda or censorship in the future.

It looks like Jewish Alt Right Youtuber has been doxxed.

One of the smartest commenters out there.

He deleted his Youtube Channel and his Twitter account is gone.

One of the few Jewish people advocating for accountability for Jewish people.

His videos were great and I am sad that I won't be able to hear from him.

Fuck, they got Forney today! And of course for an old video just like Roosh and others:

Published on Nov 2, 2018

Not an hour ago, I received a Community Guidelines strike on an episode of my old podcast Matt Forney After Hours that I'd posted here over a year ago. Because of this, I'm barred from streaming on YouTube until January 31, 2019. I have appealed the strike, but in the event that my appeal is denied, my Twitch channel will be the exclusive home of Matt Forney Live as well as my gaming streams, so please follow me there.

On the subject of alternate platforms, I just recently came across this and noticed it's free now:

http://castr.io

Multi-streaming to many platforms at once! I tried it out with 5 yesterday. Just send a single feed from OBS to them, and they'll multicast it to the others.

People just aren't going to mass migrate from one social media platform to another overnight. It's just not how these things work.

They will eventually when all conservatives get shoah'ed.

Smart ones make sure they push their website HARD because it's the one thing they can keep (within reason *cough daily stormer *cough). Then just link to whatever piece-of-shit social media site you're publishing videos to at the moment until you get banned, then switch to another and change the links.

ALWAYS SAVE YOUR VIDEO MASTER FILES!
