Folks, there is Hooktube, Bitchute, SteemIt. Don't need YouTube when you got others! Go out there and utilize them!

I have taken to using BitChute lately for the content creators who upload over there. Their platform seems solid, videos load fast, UI is generally good and it's not (yet) pushing a weird cryptocurrency scheme or obviously featuring pornographic content. For mainstream appeal the site needs to be SFW, even if it has an adult mode.

There are a few downsides:
1. BitChute as a name is still terrible. SpeakOut was also bad. I guess it's not that important
2. Recommendation engine. So many of my favorite content creators on YT were found simply through related videos. Desperately needed to start connecting individual content creators into rich webs of similar video content.
3. As with all these alternative sites, each one is fragmenting the eyeballs and the more there are the harder it is to support each one.

What's really needed for alt-tech endeavors is to have some kind of dashboard-in-between tool that can manage accounts & uploading across a range of sites, crossposting Twitter to Gab (etc), so that creators aren't blowing huge chunks of time unnecessarily doing what could be automatic across various platforms (and let the best one win).

BitChute needs to come up with an embedded player that doesn't use iframe, that's a big no-no with wordpress.

Forney and I just did a quick video on the new type of shadowbanning being rolled out by Google:

TL;DL - Livestreams are now taking up to 24 hours to process, when they used to take about five minutes. Furthermore, it's interesting to see who's being affected by this, and who isn't. I strongly suspect that there's some sort of corporate support behind certain right-wing voices, and while I agree with everything they say, I'm left wondering about what they aren't saying?

Facebook does the same thing. Banning you three times and the third time forever. All the while asking you for I'd and proof of real name. Facebook should just change it's name to the C.I.A. Excellent vid related to the shooting and the natural monopoly of Youtube.
AH makes a good point that companies like Windows, Google, Youtube, Facebook are so-called natural monopolies that were bound to happen.

There is a good reason why they developed and if they had not been founded by Bill Gates or by Sugarmountain, then some competitor would have taken their place anyway.

Windows was popular because a graphic operation system was bound to happen and word and excel were bound to be developed, because people and companies want compatibility. The same goes for search engines and Facebook.

The current natural monopoly of Youtube is somehow seen as being founded by genius men who believe that they are the biggest most smug geniuses and now decide to censor any user they don't seem to be fit executing supreme rule.

But essentially they are akin to a supermarket in a small village. Only because they are the only natural monopoly in that village because a town does not support 2 supermarkets, then that does not mean that this supermarket can now decide who to sell to, what to sell without respect for their clients etc.

If those buggers overdo it and the people boycott that natural monopoly and instantly move to a different supermarket, then that supermarket and that Youtube or Facebook is gone tomorrow. If both sites are deleted tomorrow, then by next week vimeo or Bitchute would be the new natural monopoly.

Would the founder of Vimeo be then the smug super-genius that Zuckerberg thinks he is? It's about as preposterous as the founder of the local village supermarket thinking that he is the genius businessman for opening that shop first.

The vid itself refers ot the crazy Iranian bunny-lady who shot up Youtube because of the abuse of the natural monopoly of that company.

I think one of the points of the video, though, is that the people in the example town are not in the position to move to another supermarket - and as such the supermarket should not be in a position to arbitrarily decide who they will and will not sell to.

It isn't a perfect analogy but he is on to something with respect to the geeks at the top of the heap. They know damned well their products are difficult if not impossible to directly replace. If one should fail, it's because the market for that product itself finally dried up, not because direct competition took it out. Friendster and MySpace versus Facebook- they were really not synonymous products at all.

Zuckerberg is a classic example of the social misfit who thinks he's a genius. Fact is he stole the technology from his friends when they trusted him. Who's to say they would not have taken the product just as far without his spoiled little ass at the helm? Now we have a socially retarded nerd who needed something like Facebook to get laid censoring public discourse in a manner that the phone company, the post office and even the newspapers could never have imagined.

< Certain businesses start to behave more like public utilities, since the natural monopolies of businesses like Youtube, google and Facebook pool all the financial and advertising incentives of the global corporate world. It's virtually impossible to create an equal competition - at best a very different platform that might replace it in the future.

In truth governments should start to treat them more like utilities in certain respect - similar to water, electricity and waste disposal etc. Some of those endeavors for example - water and electricity - can hardly be left to the market, or someone will just buy out all the water and have you pay 90% of your disposable income just to survive - and the poorest will simply not survive at all. That has been very well understood in most countries in the world.

Nowadays companies like Google and Facebook or Youtube are behaving like water utilities who stop delivery because of a perceived non-PC racist comment. They would be willing to cut you off for life, just because you are a wrong-thinker.

There is a huge difference between criminal activity or actual real harassment where you find out that person's phone number and emails call that person 500 times per day via a calling program. Those are real cases of actual trolls. Nowadays all it takes is disagreeing with a feminist or a trans-person and you are banned. You make an ugly black millionaire actress cry on Twitter by a joke about her not-so-pretty face and you are banned.

The reason why I'm posting this video is the fact that this creator is pretty neutral on his news reporting. He tries to give balance reporting on current events. Youtube it seem is trying to limit his reach and shut him down with demonetization. When youtube start to go after this guy, assume the worse is going to happen next.

I've noticed some new shenanigans going on at youtube the last few days.

There was a massive world wide outage of ALL youtube comments, across ALL platforms. It was noted on Reddit and even had official youtube spokesman commenting and apologizing.

Funny thing is, this went on for several hours, at peak time, but very few have mentioned it. It's almost as if it was selective.

This is what made me suspicious. I've made some very serious posts on some major channels the last few days/weeks. Not trolling but would definitely be seen as inflammatory to some. Not a single like. Not a single response. Nothing.

Ok, so I'm a bit of a bore who no one wants to respond to. I get it. Happens all the time. But when preaching to the gallery and being used to getting a few 'validations' I just thought it was odd that it looked like my posts had been shadow banned.

So I logged out. Weird. My posts are still there. Why is no one commenting. Why is no one liking. I'm going from past metrics here not how wonderful and enlightening a writer I am. Past behaviour and all that.

I dug a bit deeper. Some of my comments have just been plain removed, sent to the memory hole. No warnings. No notifications for hate speech. This is stuff working on building race relations and black and white people coming together. This has happened before. I notice a lot of posts which are overtly racist towards blacks/whites are still up. Getting likes. Getting responses.

Something funny is going on. This is what I think is happening.

Google uniquely fingerprints your machine when you use its services. Everyone uses its services. You can't not. So it has a unique fingerprint database of all machines connected to the net. It's that simple.

This is without cookies and other methods, which you can try to evade, but you can't really, unless you really are up to no good. I'm a big fan and proponent of VPN's as you know, but I'm not so naive as to think that google and gootube don't know exactly who I am when I use youtube.

So they have taken shadow banning up a next step. They are not just banning people via whether they are logged in or not. They are showing all posts a person made WHILST LOGGED OUT, so the person thinks it's not shadow banning, but in reality, nobody else sees your posts. You have been shadow banned, but to a much more sophisticated level.

Log in log out. Your posts are there. But they are invisible to the world. This is apart from gootube just deleting your posts anyway.

It's quite clever. It's totally doable by the tech they have. Google now have just about the perfect database of all machines connected to the internet. With over a 90 percent accuracy. It's this tech they are using to ultra-shadow ban people. If your IP has been logged, even via a VPN, it goes in a database. But it doesn't even need that, it is now relying on unique fingerprints of actual computers.

I hope I'm wrong. But this is pretty scary. The fact this worldwide outage of ALL youtube comments happened this evening is making me think they are rolling out new censorship options.

Ok I'll step back off the pipe. I'm paranoid and just need to rant because someone didn't give me my dopamine rush of likes. :-)

The funny thing is, I actually seriously trolled some channels where I knew I would catch major shit, just to see. And again, nothing. Not a single response. My comments were there when I was logged in, and they were there when I was logged out, but yet objectively it looks as if no one else can see them.

I've had a few responses here and there I must admit, I'm talking generally here. But the massive worldwide outage tonight really made me think something is up.

Mister Metokur - a funny well-appreciated guy was recently banned from Twitter and now Youtube. He had 2 strikes and now he is gone.

His shtick was making fun of extremely out there individuals and their public content.

Now Kraut and Tea - a semi-SJW who even engaged in concentrated doxxing. He became famous by actively debating the Alt-Right and various race-realists personally. Of course he was utterly destroyed on every term and his best resolve later was to try and ban those evil racists.

It's funny when those morons who are closer to Sargon of Akkad happily go into the identical censorship territory. They absolutely cannot face reality, cannot debate on open terms - their biggest critics must simply be banned as "hate-speech".

Guise! Doncha know that we need to learn to debate the left more effectively and win in the marketplace of ideas?!

Anyway, at least the dumb cunt responsible probably got lazy and forgot to ban Roosh prior to the release of his book. He got one show in to announce it at least before they fucked him.

Sorry to hear about this. Conservative shadowbans and net traffic "detours" are reaching extreme levels, much less the outright banning. It would be nice if there was even the vaguest sense that Trump was looking into this. In the meanwhile I'll just have to continue praying to the small Nasime Sabz shrine I've set up in my towel cupboard.

It was the "treated like dogs" term. That got them riled up and the commissars stepped in.

I shared this, but this is very fitting. The CEO of Twitter seems to have recently published an article where his solution for the US is to flood the US with more immigrants, so that the Republicans will never get elected - he even cited California as a glorious example.

He admitted to 600.000 accounts being shadow-banned.

Google/Youtube did not even bother coming. They will continue to ban everyone left-right-and-center. The noose will keep on getting tightened year after year until everyone who is not an obedient apparatchik gets his internet-license revoked.

I was just thinking today that they will tighten the noose ever more.

They will likely one day make it only possible to post under your own name or one that is easily traceable to everyone - so no real anonymous posting (anonymous at least to the public, peers, family etc.)

Then they are going to one day delete or highly wipe out sich forums like this, ReturnofKings and Rooshv.com.

Roosh might get banned completely since he is already on a blacklist. If I were him, then I would open a separate Game-only site that has all the products, books on, but has zero mention of any politics, not even anti-feminism. That way at least part of hte business-side would survive the purge in the coming years or decades. They might move against PUAs and Game-teachers, but then you would have to just rebrand it as a tool to teach Muslim and African refugees to pick up White women - then you are golden. I have some ideas about the cover - it would come straight out Blacked porn production.

I've long advocated for BitChute since it's nice and safe, but just found another nice feature they intentionally put in for people getting fucked over by jewtube.

There's a little box in your channel setup for the YT channel ID number, it isn't said what they use it for right there, but after searching the official help file turns out it AUTOMATICALLY mirrors all your YT uploads from that point on!

My only complaint with BitChute so far is quality, I'm using it on my end to bypass copyright, and my current project is uploading all the singles from the Eagles "Their Greatest Hits" album in order each day. There's a really nasty copyright block on those, so far everything except "Take It Easy" got killed right away worldwide.
Anyway, the reason I mention quality is because I upload the exact same master file to them with my super high bitrate AAC audio stream inside, and it's obviously being transcoded to a garbage bitrate because there are horrible artifacts.

After downloading it from them and analyzing the file I was a little disappointed, but then again it's a free service so I'm not going to complain too much. Hopefully it's something they can improve over time. I don't really care about video quality so if I can encode the files in a way where it'll leave my audio track alone I'll do it.
