Deleted it about four years ago, because it was a waste of time. I have real life to live, and a limited amount of time to do that. FB and other social media tends to steal inordinate amounts of time (and remember, time is the stuff life is made of).

I still spend time online (obviously) but I avoid FB, Twitter, etc.

Everytime a face is tagged Facebook adds the information to a database with biometric data. It is not restricted to face for facial recognition, but the article claims it also keys in clothing and posture.

Also, Facebook has filed patents for technology allowing Facebook to tailor ads based on users’ facial expressions.

Facebook claims it will not sale your personal data, but currently there is no state that passed a bill that protects consumers for facial recognition data collection and usage, except a weak bill in Washington. Also, no federal law regulates how companies use biometric privacy or facial recognition, and no lawmaker has ever introduced a bill to do so.

Just another reason to take on the challenge.

I almost never post things to it. Only use FB these days for screening girls for LTR possibility or pipelining to meet girls in a foreign country. FB is a time suck unless you use it for a specific purpose. Oh, and, yes, Zuck is the devil.
