I find after dusk meetings for some reason to have much more of a "let's fuck" vibe. Morning/afternoon meetings always make me feel like I'm just a buddy to her.

To each his own I guess...but I would've been OK with her suggestion for meeting in the evening for dinner in this case.

I'm glad to be reviving this somewhat insightful topic. Here are two of my personal experiences. This first one is from almost a month ago in almost the exact same words.

And here's another one from just yesterday. It was a girl (mid-20's) I met 3 weekends ago at a bar. I texted her a few days after that and she couldn't meet the following weekend but she suggests the following week. A few days after that, I set up a date for this past Friday and she couldn't make it for another reason but she suggests meeting yesterday or today. She seems all eager to meet up tonight and then I get this text yesterday.

"Hey so the honest truth is that just accepted a job offer in [redacted] and I'm moving in 2 weeks so I don't want to waste your time. Im sorry"

For the record, that place is a certain large New England city that gets criticized quite a bit here. This kind of behavior just doesn't shock me anymore when it comes to women.

One that I get a lot is a 'friend emergency', specifically with their dorm-mate. They text last minute and say their friend has had something happen and really Needs them or something. My brother has gotten that too on the one date he tried to go on (I warned him about flaking beforehand so he was ready for the blow).

Got a good one from a Korean chick the other day. We're supposed to meet somewhere and she isn't there after I show up 5 minutes after the time we're supposed to meet.
