Gaming in Colombia vs Peru?

For those of you guys that have done both Peru and Colombia and can compare them, i'm curious about your thoughts. I've spent a few months in Medellin and been to Cartagena, Barranquilla, and Santa Marta.

In general I had a lot of fun in Medellin and hooked up a fair amount, although it took some time to get used to gaming there. In my experience, it was fairly easy to get numbers and make-outs in bars, but was difficult to ONS with girls I met the same night. Using online game, usually it took 2-3 dates to get a laid if it was going to happen (generally over at least a 1-2 week period), usually when I was using pretty aggressive game (ala Roosh come over and let's cook together methods). Although to be fair, I had a few buddies down there who had more aggressive alpha game than me who consistently were having ONS's in love motels with girls he just met. Personally I suspected a few of them were prepagos doing freebies, though. I suppose the difference is I usually play long term game (eg maybe i'll move here some day, etc) versus they were very straight up with chicks about what they wanted.

I read a bunch of the prior posts about people's experiences in Lima/Bogota/Cali and as usual there is a lot of differing opinions. It seems like some people say getting laid in Peru is easy (which corresponds to the experiences i've had with Peruvians while traveling in latin america---but they may have just been in vacation mindset--so it is biased). Others, though, have said Peruvians (e.g., in Lima) are similar to Colombians and are not so easy to hook up with.

Obviously, if it is true that Peruvians on average are about as hard to get into bed as Colombians, i'd much rather go back to Colombia (preferably to spend time in a new city like Cali or Bogota).

Can anyone share their opinions in how gaming is similar or different in Peru and Colombia? Also, can anyone compare Medellin to Bogota or Cali? For reference, my salsa is shit, my Spanish is fluent, and my game is fairly strong. A few people said you def need to know salsa to do well in Cali---is this really true? Colombianas en Medellin loved reggaeton (fond memories of bendito seas), so I find it hard to believe there aren't also a lot of mostly reggaeton-esque clubs in a city of 2.5 million??? Rompe rompe rompe..

Honestly I have not read your post cause it would make no difference. Any big city in Colombia hands down beats Lima and especially Peru in general. Both quantity, quality and game results wise.

If you are satisfied it terms of women and are looking for quality of life, good food and ocean then you can go to Peru.

You have beeen lurking for so long and Now you opened 2 threads to ask things that were discussed in the past. .
thread-58245...ia+vs+peru And thread-44829...ia+vs+peru

Your game is strong, but You can't get ONS and you rely most of your game in online. That's strange. Anyways, as a local below average peruvian with newbie game, i had opportunities to get lay in Tinder.

Finally, I just can say that You should consider Vinny's advice.

Not particularly helpful. I had a job when I was there and it was just easier logistically to set things up as I did. Worked out pretty well for me, anyway.

@Vinny haha okay fair man. I know it's annoying to do repeat threads but if you jump on tinder from afar and look the girls in both Lima and Cali look decently hot though, thus my post. Also, there's something to be said for going to a new country if you've been to Colombia a few times. Just sayin!

Not even a comparison. I was in Peru (for 14 weeks) and I am in Colombia now.

Peruvian girls for the most part are racist and don't like foreigners and don't make eye contact with you. They also have high bitch shields.

Colombian girls eye fuck foreigners a lot, are prettier/sexier, walk sexier, like foreigners a lot and are much nicer/friendlier with a more pleasant personality. It's definitely in my opinion easier to get a quality mini relationship in Colombia with a hot girl than In Peru. In my opinion Peru is a wasteland for game.

In summary, Peru is shit for game, and Colombia is awesome for game.

I think a lot of your questions have already been answered in countless threads.

I don't know what Australia sucks is saying that women in Peru hate foreigners it's quite the opposite, most of them love foreigners.

Since you have already been to Colombia maybe you should check out Peru for a bit and see if you like it. Sometimes you should see things for yourself and make your own opinions.

The biggest difference I see is that attractiveness is not related to socio- economic status in Colombia. There are hot poor, middle class, and rich Colombian women. You can meet some stunning girls from poor barrios in Colombia. Whereas, the most beautiful girls in Lima seem to be in the wealthier classes. Cracking into these social groups will take time. In Colombia beautiful women are accessible without having a social circle.

I'm not sure what race you are or what city in Peru you were in, but this is absolutely not true for white foreigners in Lima, Trujillo, or Arequipa. Its actually quite the opposite of what you said.

But Colombia def much better for gaming - Hotter girls.

I stayed in Medellin for 3 months and 1 month in Lima. I will return in winter to Lima again for a few months, let me tell you why. Short-term trips maybe be a different experience, but still there are more english speaking girls on tinder in Lima than in medellin.

-Lima has a better nightlife, in medellin nowadays is packed with americans and lleras most latinas go out in big mixed groups, cant approach properly, also there are beach clubs in lima (Asia and so on)
- girls in lima speak more english evne though i am learning spanish, but still
- THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT, in Lima its easier to date richer, well educated girls, in Medellin the high society its almost impossible to get in. In Lima i met some nice girls with cars and could go to their beachhouses, after laying 5 comuna girls, you want to get better quality with looks and status.
- Food is much much better
- you have much more tinder dates in lima
- girls were better in medellin, but the ones i fucked in lima were also 7's and much less effort for laying them.
- didnt need to pay everything for the girls in lima ( food, taxi and so on)
- better and cheaper spanish school in lima
- Medellin was a bit cheaper than lima
- i liked a lot medellin i will return for sure also this winter, but i will stay longer in lima.
- I dated doctors, girls with own business and so on in lima, in medellin its much harder to date girls from higher class.
- WHITE GOD factor is also higher in Lima, since most are indo-ugly fat.

Thanks guys for the fantastic info. Special shout out to dantes for the great SES qualifier. I've definitely had my share of experiences chasing barrio girls all over latin america and this makes a lot of sense. I know Peru v Colombia has been discussed a lot but as you all know there are so many qualifiers that make different trips different (e.g., length of trip, etc), so sometimes it's helpful to collect a little more info.

Verdicts still out on which i choose, but I appreciate the info.

Hey, one more Q: is Cali a total bust if your salsa game isn't on point? How can it be a city in Colombia where there aren't normal reggaeton clubs???? I'm drawn by the supposed hotties of Cali but as some other post wrote, don't want to be the chump in the club if 90% of the music es chicas que quieren bailar salsita

Salsa game definitely helps if you are going out at night. However, it isn't necessary to score in Cali. Online is solid in Cali and girls are approachable during the day; however, quantity of targets are not always there.

With that said, it is worth taking a few salsa lessons. I took a some private lessons in Medellin and it was worth the money to learn the basic steps. You don't have to be a dancing master, but dancing is so important to Colombia culture, you should be able to dance with a girl. They won't be expecting much from a Gringo. Just showing an interest in their most important cultural activity will win you some points.

For the guys saying that Peruvian girls are not racist I will give you the context. I was born in Australia, but have middle eastern heritage and slightly tanned skin, black hair and brown eyes. A lot of Peruvians thought I might be a Brazilian Tourist. I did not get treated well by Peruvian girls but have been treated very well by Colombian girls. I was in basically every major city in Peru during my 14 week stay.

Colombian girls seem to like any foreigner from a rich country. Perhaps (only a guess) Peruvian girls only like the "white"/anglo looking foreigners and are racist towards the rest. But i found Peruvian people in general to be racist and unfriendly whilst Colombians are very open, welcoming and friendly (Santa Marta seems to be an exception though). Another indication is that I saw heaps of Colombian black men with attractive girlfriends (black or white girls). This was very rare in Peru.

Colombia is awesome and I am really enjoying it a lot.

I loved both Peru and Colombia. Colombia girls are hotter and have more baller apartments cheaper but peru has better food and general quality of life. While most people say Peru women are ugly I think that while they do have women MUCH more ugly you still have access to the hottest girls being a foreigner so it doesn't really matter. As far as ONS goes I think they both do it but in Colombia I encountered more girls who tried to play innocent and didn't go further than a handjob on the first date.

The peruvian girls were only racist against their own peruvian guys, they loved me and my blue eyes [Image: smile.gif] and i can only agree with shimmy, that colombian girls tried to play innocent and that you have in peru also access to the good looking girls. In average the girls are prettier in colombia, but you fuck maybe more hotties in peru than in colombia with less effort and thats what i am lookng for.

What you're describing isn't racism. It's sexual preference. Everyone has a sexual preference of some sort and of varying degrees.

As far as what the definition of sexual preference is, well, it's maybe a mix of:
- Social conditioning (pop culture, social and economic factors, marketing/branding of certain countries)
- Biological urges (e.g. in caveman days, spreading your DNA via giving the seed to a certain tribe)
- Exotic factor (if people in the country are more homogenous or aren't every colour of the rainbow, then certain looks will do better or worse)
....Plus probably a whole lot more factors that come into play, but I'm not gonna write a thesis about it.

Your BS of calling a nationality racist is victimhood 101. Also, there's a lot of irony because by you labelling and stereotyping one group of people as something derogatory it means you are technically being a racist yourself.

Take the red pill [Image: smile.gif]

Jungle it's not only a matter of sexual preference. The average person on the street including men, old ladies etc were not very friendly or welcoming (in my experience). Colombian people are very warm in general.

I did not feel this in Peru. I've met a lot of travellers who have been to multiple South American countries. All of them said people are nicer in Colombia and Chile than they are in Peru. I have been to Peru, Sabtiago (Chile) and Colombia. Nobody that has been to all three countries can tell me with a straight face that Peruvian people on average are as nice to foreigners as Colombians or Chileans. I met a lot of foreigners in Peru who agreed with me that in general Peruvians are not really fond of foreigners. I do not think this point is even debatable.

Racism exist in Peru, but It is mostly between Peruvians. Despite of that, i would prefer the word "ignorance" because It has no sense how a mestizo(mixed blood) discriminate other mestizos.

Jungle gave a good term, Sexual preference. Even If i don't agree with the exotic factor, it is well known most of peruanas are so crazy for white guys. Australia Sucks can pass as a local, that's why your experience is totally different from what other foreigners can experiment.

I just laugh when He said that Peruvians hate foreigners. The truth is peruvians love foreigners a lot. Then how do you explain that peruvians are so interested to date foreigners and interact with them. . I have it harder, but i am working to get good results and I am happy for it for what i am getting. My message is that Everyone can bang a peruana, it is much harder for non whites, but We should learn game to accomplish it.

To finish my point, i will agree with Wolfer and Shimmy. Peruanas are mediocre in average, But a decent looking foreigner with some game can score cutie peruanas

What about Anglo/European guys with brown hair/brown eyes, white skin? Sort of like how some english/spanish/italian guys have brown hair and brown eyes but absolutely no tan, completely ghost white skin. They could pass for anything from italian to german to polish to russian etc.

I guess technically someone with those features could also pass as a (very white) local. Would it be best to open in English to make it clear you are not a local?

Or is the preference strictly for blond hair/blue eyes?

I've not been to Peru, so I came here with a follow up question to this. Is this maybe a case of Peruvians being more conservative and more shy than the Colombians?

The reason I ask is because I spent some months in Ecuador, and I really like them. But the Ecuadorans aren't as outgoing as seemingly friendly as the Colombians - up front. However, I found that if the Ecuadorans spend just a small amount of time getting to know you, they're just as friendly and welcoming as Colombians. Like Colombians, the Ecuadorans will quickly become your new best friend. My observations are that the Ecuadorans are just more reserved in public.

Is this scenario also possible in Peru? Maybe they're just a bit shy with strangers? And were your experiences in big cities or smaller towns? Bigger cities' citizens tend to be far more standoffish than the countryside, and I think that's a universal trend no matter which country.

BrewDog I was in Peru for 14 weeks. I went to a mix of small towns and big cities. People were in general unfriendly everywhere. They were unfriendly not just upfront but the whole time, even after they know you for some time.

I did meet some nice Perivians but they were definitely the minority. In Santiago Chile, and in Colombia I met some white foreigners (Germans, Kiwis, etc) that had been to Peru what they thought of Peruvian people compared to Colombians/Chileans.

All of them said Colombian/Chilean people were much nicer and yes these tourists were white. I even remember in Santiago I was talking to a German girl who had blonde hair and blue eyes. She said Chileans were much nicer and Peruvians were only nice when you bought something or gave them money.

BrewDog have you been to Santa Marta in Colombia? It's like in Bogota, San Gil, Cartagena, etc people are friendly, helpful and love foreigners, whereas in Santa Marta people are more cold, rude and unfriendly. Multiply how bad people are in Santa Marta by two and that is what Peru is like.

I feel like I need to defend Peru here... I have been to both countries several times and while I like Colombia better, Peru has its advantages. The girls flake much less, are easier, have less plastic surgery, and are more down too earth. While Peruvians are more standoffish, once you talk to them they are quite nice. Colombians are more outgoing for sure, but I had more issues there with sketchy guys robbing me, or trying other random crap. It is true that in Cusco they try to charge a gringo tax on all the tourists, the same could be said for Cartagena. I think you need to be careful about trashing a whole country because you had a bad time. Lots of people have been there and had a good time, including myself. I just prefer Colombia because the girls are hotter and the country is nicer.

I have lived in all three countries (Peru, Chile and Colombia) for more than a year. Of course people in a carribean country like Colombia will be more outgoing and warmer on average, but saying that Peruvians hate foreigners couldnt be further from the truth. Yes, girls are hotter on average, but who cares about the average? In my epxerience upper-class in Colombia is extremely segregated from the rest and is not really open towards foreigners (this holds true even more for rich people from Medellin), while upper-class in Peru easily mingles with foreigners.

Actually it's pretty funny that you mention Chile. While racism is existent everywhere in Latin America, Chilean society is extremely racist and classicist. Any Chilean will confirm you this. You won't even get invited to a job interview without the right family name.
