It was probably unnecessary but I have to admit I lol'd. Hope she doesn't get a payout.

She's less than 120 pounds. The fall face first was hard. The clip doesn't tell the full story but I have no sympathy for her either way. Any male doing the same as her would have been roughed up worse. She thought the bubble she's in at varsity follows her into the real world.
As for police brutality, it seems the 'official' disincentives are weak for cops to not think they can target "minorities" and the weak with impunity. So the effective disincentives are arising through the current socio-political climate. The pendulum had swung too far in one direction - typical incident where unarmed black male gets shot (insert number) times; officer not charged, or officer acquitted. Consequences. Now the credibility of law enforcement is questionable. Too many years of "Cops shot the deceased because they thought his wallet was a gun".
