Banned but I think the 1-10 scale I'm using is harsher than his. Too many guys call an average girl that is realistically a 5 a 7.5. On my scale 5-6 is good, 7 is cute, 8 is hot, 9 is a stunner, and 10 doesn't exist outside of Photoshop.

After eating pizza with an other RvF member (cool to meet you bro) I had date number #9. I went to a relatively high-end club and came back with the number of this girl. She is very tall, was dressed classy and looked to me like "my type".

Boy, was I wrong.

This girl was hot. So hot that before the date I started to get nervous. I hadn't had this in a while. But when she texted me where she was waiting for me, my body felt like it was going into a panic attack. I had never had this before for a date. I don't know what caused it. Maybe it was overtraining a few hours before, or maybe it was really the girl.

It was a bit disappointing to see her again. She was not dressed with as much taste as previously. Now she wore standard H&M clothes, which was just boring. Still had a perfect ass, and the tallness....

But I'm getting distracted. Beauty shouldn't be the most important thing in a girlfriend, if I have to believe the above posters. Unfortunately, conversation-wise, it didn't go anywhere.

On arrival I tried to make conversation for a few hours, but she didn't react or invest as I'm used to. After we had some food (which was really crappy and I couldn't get down due to the nerves) she wanted to go shopping.

While writing the above sentence, I realise how fucking lame this date really was.

My nerves still in overdrive, I decide to lay down for a minute and do some controlled breathing. After that, I realise that for the past three horus I had taken a lack of investment that I would have never taken from an other chick. I had already called her out on several occasions, and she didn't give in. I was questioning why I was even going through with this. So I walked up to her, told her it was nice to meet her and left.

Maybe I should have given it a bit more time.

I haven't read much about the happy gene but if you can't get a genuine and honest smile out of them on the first date, the kind that lifts your spirits, then there's not going to be much of a future there.

Given time everyone will say something stupid at least a few times.
Your comments on weight and face but attractive personality are how I rationalize why some guys wife up chicks they could easily do better with.

And what may be contrary to what membership may think, if you want a wife. having one who once becomes old and wrinkly, but still provides good company would be important.

Unless you plan to up rage to newer models every 10 years.

I asked her if she wants to visit me in my next destination,, but she "doesn't think she can", citing work-related and family reasons. This was very disappointing, but it was probably too much of an investment to ask in such a short time of knowing each other.

How do you guys feel about flying in chicks to your current location, as in paying their flight ticket? Is this the "normal" thing to do?

You found someone nice quickly and you can do so again. This is the problem with genuinely pleasant girls, though. They get hooks into you in a way that THOTs aren't capable of.

With a THOT you put hard effort in to enjoy a few hours of a-grade snatch and five seconds after you blow you can't wait to go for the door.

Genuinely pleasant girls require less effort and give you a result like a perpetual morphine drip that dulls all of life's small worries. Once you have one in tow, it's hard to imagine being without.

But, good wake-up call. It has been a week and a bit. I can imagine that asking her to fly in sounds like a big deal to her and the membership here. While for me, the travel itself is nothing (i have moved cities every two weeks for the past 4 month). Having her come to my next destination for a weekend or a week is my lazy way of avoiding having to settle in. Paying half of the ticket also is little money to me... but maybe for her it comes across as "holy shit, he wants me to fly to a different country and I barely know the guy"

With a woman I'd lean towards paying all or nothing. Chipping in half the bucks for a buddy to come see you is normal and reasonable, but you can't go half way when you're playing moneybags with a chick.

If she can't/wont afford all then she probably can't/wont afford half.

A reasonable compromise would be to tell her that if she can fly over then you'll take care of all her expenses while she's there. You get to be the gentleman when she's on scene but the overall split will be a bit more equitable.

As for paying her flight expenses, I've done it both ways. I've flown chicks to visit me on my dime. I've also had chicks fly to visit me on their own dime (but I paid most of our transportation, hotel, and meals, etc).

It just depends on the girl, but I only do this if I really want to spend time with her and she has a strong interest level towards me. My personal litmus test is right after I nut -- do I sincerely want to spend more time with her, or do I want to head for the door as soon as I get the chance? If it's the latter, then what's the point?

Thanks guys. Here's an update.

She didn't want to fly to my next destination. Too far, too scary. So we came up with a compromise. We met up in her mother country, which was a short plane ride away from the country we met in. I paid for her flight and she stayed with me. We spent a week together. My intention was to get to know her and to see what would happen.

I think that overall this was a good idea, also while covering her ticket. She paid for her food mostly herself, but here and there I jumped in. It was great to have her around, she definitely has the happy gene. She also was very supportive in every way.

However, in a way it also didn't feel right, and I don't really understand why. It felt a bit too comfortable, and I really missed raw attraction (which disappeared after a few days of living in the same space). The longer I know her, the less sexual desire I felt.

It might have something to do with low T (I commented in the T topic about it), or a STD (had some shit on my dick for the last week). But it also may be that she is not so attractive physically, while emotionally she is really cool to be around. I'm not used to this situation.

Now, we are back at square one. She is back to study, I'm in a new country. if she's not willing to come visit me there, that is the end. I don't know if and how I should communicate this to her.

Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of room yet to commit to a certain country for a longer time. So until I find a way to commit to a country, I might have put off the GF-project.

How much do you mean by "longer time"? 3-6 months? 10 years
