So basically the CIA runs the government and they can do what they want.

It's been that way from at least the end of world war two, if not earlier, by some accounts. Disturbingly, the evil CIA is merely one part of the deep state.

This is disturbing. I've always used Notepad & Notepad++ for years. Look like I'm going to have to find an alternative program.

Under Persistence Components, note the "Lol" text in the last column.

Description: Registry key that was designed to assist with debugging and allows the user to specifiy an executable that should be run instead of the specified application. Lol.

This registry key can be used to redirect the execution of any application to a different executable. It is likely monitored by many PSPs. The specified “debugger” application will be called with a path to the original program as the first argument.

Crazy. Buckle up!

People in tech have known about or at least been very suspicious of these kind of technology exploits for a long time, so this revelation is more of an "I knew it" moment. I used to run the tape webcam trick on my laptop too.

The scary thing is that this may be the first leaks of many, and we don't really know how deep the swamp is

Many of us vaguely knew about these spying capabilities, but to see it confirmed, and all in the hands of one organization with essentially God-like powers to assassinate anyone and go undetected, is disturbing.

I'm not sure if I should feel vindicated and happy that AJ was right again, or horrified that the crazy fuck has been so on the money. It makes you wonder what else he's called right.

The question now is... Which OS is safe? I might have to create a BSD install now. Seems like that's the only OS that they don't have the ability to control.

I used to do the "tape over webcam" thing, but that doesn't stop the microphone from being surreptitiously activated. Now I just don't even hook up my webcam and mic to my computer unless I'm actually using it. As soon as I'm done I disconnect it.

The sheer scope and malevolence of this spying operation is absolutely staggering. Is there no way to be safe from these bastards? Basically all smartphones, all TVs and all cars in the world are available to these scumbags to play with at will. Even the most simple tasks such as communicating through encrypted apps or browsing privately are impossible, and Tor and Linux are cracked so they can easily track you as you do that too. Is there any solution to this crap other than moving to an abandoned cobalt mine in Uzbekistan?

Asking for a friend.

Budo, they don't care so much for the common man as they do for control. If they let a few terrorist acts slip through, that encourages others to make attempts or be more brazen, effectively finding them more targets more easily. Either that or they're incompetent, or a combination of both (I presume it's a combination, especially with how much they lose control of). They couldn't care less about civilian casualties so long as they think a certain path will best serve them. This is why they happily would frame other countries for their wrongdoings by using their malware/spyware: they don't care if they're hurting an ally with this, they just want to further their own goal of control.

Thanks to a thread somewhere on this forum, a forum member mentioned checking out Privacy Tools.

I've been using Debian for years along with Whonix, which I installed in a Virtual Box a few months ago to play around with. Lately, I've been thinking about trying Quebes OS.

You cannot have a current vehicle built in the last 17 years, or a car with significant computerized components relevant to its vital operations(braking, navigation, acceleration). No computers or internet connected devices in your home, or if you wish to travel leave your phone at home and no GPS. All email and computers are monitored and the contents stored indefinitely-Period. The CIA knows what porn you like, how long you searched for it, how many times you watched it, and what you watched before it since 2007 at least. That is just the why it is....

I did some cursory reading through the leaks... They have exploits for Linux. So i'd assume ALL linux distros(of which debian is) have been compromised. Windows is compromised, Android... iOS. Pretty much everything it seems but i didn't see much about BSD.

You all sound like those moderate liberals who finally realized muslims aren't compatible in western civ.

The government isn't your friend and never was. It shows how naïve even many 'red pill' men are to the evil out there. It's like podesta with the pedophilia in DC. Open satanic sacrifices, the federal reserve controlled by jews, ban on cash, etc.... Stop being naïve. Anyone with power is going to crank it to 10000x with modern technology. Here many were thinking divorce laws were the government's way to destroy western civ when the rabbit hole goes much, much deeper.

Even what WikiLeaks obtained is probably only small portion of whatever technologies they really have. Imagine a ban on cash into all-digital transactions, gee wonder why they want that when you see the depths of control they can exercise.

That is what I got too from reading the Press Release as well as skimming through a few WikiLeaks' pages. There will probably be some discussions in the Linux and open source communities on this stuff.

The people working at the CIA are like the otaku in World War Z (the book, not the film); he thinks that he knows everything about the zombie outbreak, because his 1337 hacking/chan skills keep him abreast of information that the MSM isn't broadcasting, and yet the day he wakes up to find out his parents are dead he wakes up in shock.

These creeps think that having control and blackmail over everybody will allow them to leverage the world into some sort of utopia, while they remain completely unaware of how incompetent they are at running the world. Rome is burning, and they think they're the solution, when actually they're the cause.

That's why San Bernadino happened.

"In 2017, you'll be a full-bore Trump supporter who only gets his news from the Roosh V forums, Vox Day's blog, Drudge, and Alex Jones. Oh, and you'll have stopped drinking entirely and are obsessed with living a minimalist lifestyle."

If you had told me that three years ago I'd have laughed. These leaks, though - how else is there to react?

I've always been intrigued by the "Brain Force" product. Does it work like that drug in Limitless?

No worries Roosh, we all know that these "leaks" are all fake news spread by the evil dictator Putin as he feasts on gay blood in his Kremlin fortress while plotting which country to invade next. Our esteemed comrade Zuckerberg will fact-check everything in a few minutes and we can all move on with our lives to discuss Kim Kardashian's latest butt selfie.
