I named myself after one of the savviest military geniuses the world has seen, a man who apparently slept with so many women a non-negligible number of Asians carry his genes and who forever changed the world with all the conquering he did. Had it not been for his untimely death, he might've conquered Europe as well. One of the biggest Alphas (even though I hate this term) the world has ever seen. Seems appropriate for RVF

Shortly before I registered I'd read the definition of the word "hermetic":

Quote:Quote:

Full Definition of hermetic
1
often capitalized
a : of or relating to the mystical and alchemical writings or teachings arising in the first three centuries a.d. and attributed to Hermes Trismegistus
b : relating to or characterized by occultism or abstruseness : recondite
2
[from the belief that Hermes Trismegistus invented a magic seal to keep vessels airtight]
a : airtight <hermetic seal>
b : impervious to external influence <trapped inside the hermetic military machine — Jack Newfield>
c : recluse, solitary <leads a hermetic life>
hermetically play -ti-k(ə-)lē adverb

I liked this combination of meanings, so I took a play off the word for my name.

I'm also a big fan of sci fi/fantasy writer John C Wright, who uses it in his series Count To The Eschaton. This is probably where I first started seeing it used in its more mystical sense.

I used to study Latin in high school and always enjoyed the sound of the word "Fortis."

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

I grew up in Atlanta and happen to be male. Great city if you like to sleep with a lot of women and like a low cost of living.

Got "booshala" from lyrics in a j-pop song... not from Assyrian yogurt soup as several members have asked me. Although the coincidental relation always makes me laugh.

Guriko is a character from my favorite Japanese manga Worst.

It is about a school called Suzuran which is famous as it houses most of the delinquents within its area.

It’s like reading a mob story. You have beefs between characters, group clashes, betrayals, loyalty…

The main character is Tsukishima Hana who is basically a Boy Scout that leads the school against another school from Toyko in an epic clash at its climax.

Hanaki Guriko is Hana’s antithesis. The anti-hero. Womanizer extraordinaire who does his thing and cares fuck all about the general situation, until one of his friends get assaulted. Then he shows his true colors, his loyalty to his friends and the rage it unleashes inside of him.

It goes without saying that they are the best of friends who duke it out in the end. And what a glorious fight it is. The buildup, the punches, the defeat and its aftermath.

What I love most is the permeating sense of honor. The sense of traitors being more vilified than enemies. The sense that even enemies can respect each other and help if a greater foe arrives.

The sense of everything that is lacking in Western society.

It’s worth a read, I recommend it.

Because we all have a little bit of Hana and Guriko inside of us.

Romans 8:31 - 'What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?'

I want to smash the patriarchy, and the quickest way to do that is by becoming an undercover patriarch.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

A couple of days before registering I was watching this classic Star Trek episode:

Khan Noonien Singh struck me as being a pretty cool villain, and Ricardo Montalban (the actor who played him) and William Shatner made for great adversaries on screen. Both in that episode, as well as in the 2nd Star Trek movie.

Brick Tamland, weather man in one of the greatest comedy films of the 2000s, Anchorman: the legend of ron burgundy.
Adam McKay (director & writer ), Judd Apatow (producer) and Will Ferrell (writer & lead actor) were at the height of their powers then.

(PS - The sequel was really terrible)

Because of the play which delivered a red pill message to me: Caligula of Albert Camus.
I really liked the ploy of forcing people to be logical.
I liked how logic battled with a whim, too.

And yet, if I am still looking for a moon, what will my fate be....?!

The spelling version "Caligula" was already taken, so it is "Kaligula".

I'd like to point to my body of work:

I am the original outsider. My friends stabbed me in the back to white knight for girls.

I am and was the greatest. They can never fill my shoes. I put my middle finger in the air and my dick down their girlfriends' throats.

I am the Count of Monte Cristo.
