That's somewhat of a plan B. A good intermediary plan until I can feasibly get an international work opportunity is to locate in states like Texas, Utah, or Colorado which are a bit less socially leftist, capable of self sufficiency, and geographically isolated from potential violance that is most likely to originate from ethnic neighborhoods in major coastal cities (+Chicago/Atlanta) and spill out into surrounding areas.

This isn't directed at anyone specifically. It will be interesting to see if those who have stated they will leave the West, in the event of a Trump loss will have the courage of their convictions. Keep us posted on your relocation status if Trump loses in November.

The scariest thing is that they are framing what Trump said as sexual assault, not bad language. This means that the rape culture witch-hunt, and the language policing, will only intensify. It will not be safe for a man to live in the USA unless he has his life very much figured out. For young, single men it will be far more dangerous that it is even now.

I wish like hell that I could bounce out of this country if Trump loses. Been planning it for 2 years (shout out to Travel section on RVF). Yet, I've caught a case and am on probation for a bit meaning I'm even stuck in my own damn county.
I also wish, with my beginner Russian proficiency, that I could bounce from my state directly into southwestern Russia and do my online business from there.

I'm already gone. But I went to Europe and we're pretty fucked over here as well. Fortunately I speak fluent Spanish so S.A. is always an option. IF I can find a spot where I don't have to be worried about me or my girl being kidnapped and held ransom while they send our body parts to our relatives. For a long while I considered Chile until I started participating in the AllChile forum. Depressing place down there apparently and the women are among the ugliest you'll find in S.A. Plus most recently they are being invaded by Haitians - say no more. Mexico is too Wild West for me - not sure what's left then. Costa Rica? Dominican Republic? Panama? Columbia - I like the accent but wouldn't feel safe there. And Argentina is getting its own share of illegal immigrants I've read (not sure how the fuckers get there).

Any of you guys have any suggestions? No Asia is not an option for me.

Interested to hear where the guys who are planning to leave in the case of a Hillary win are thinking of heading. I'd say for at least the first year or so, you will still have more freedoms and be more right-wing than either Australia or the UK. That may change if Hillary is allowed to enact her full will on what she wants to do. Obviously those 2 countries would be the ones with the least overall change in lifestyle and language, but there are much better options. Russia perhaps? Or maybe somewhere in South America.

What types of careers would you guys have in mind abroad? At least when getting started?

I've spent 5 of the last 10 years abroad, including consulting in some of the factories that the US and Canada have sent to Mexico. Falling back on normal skills we can use in the USA doesn't fly unless you want to make 2$ an hour.

English teachers make 6-9$ an hour in any country where there is any fun to be had, though I could be wrong on this.

Obviously there are a lot of business ideas but its tough to jump ship and start a business while burning savings without some sort of backup plan.

Any other ideas for income abroad?

I don't mind sharing an old idea I had before my circumstances changed. A few years back I had a plan to sell real estate in Santiago Chile, targeting foreigners specifically. I've noticed this working in many major/2nd tier cities abroad and Chile was being shoved down foreigners throats by Simon Black, Doug Casey, and those types of people. Seemed like a pretty good idea considering lack of regulations(no license required) and my ability to speak both languages. I just kept taking juicy contracts and never went through with it. Might be something worth looking into for somebody else. I know of a couple businesses in Medellin doing exactly this.
