I think we underestimate just how unlikeable Clinton is. All of us here might be able to appreciate Clinton's ability to memorize lines, which was indeed impressive, however there's more than that and Hillary simply comes off as a know it all, goody two shoes, teacher's pet. She laughs sarcastically at Trump, she smirks, she is condescending. Undecided voters, low information voters, many will think she is smug and talking down to them, doesn't matter what she says, it is the tone, the kind of condescending tone used to denigrate these people for most of their lives. Not smart enough, not educated enough they've been told, that's the tone they've been told that in. Trump speaks at a 4th grade level in debates, yes it's true, identification is big here. I think the end results might be that some low income blue democrats see Hillary less positive and Trump more positive after the debate.

I think we're also underestimating just how good the average American is at detecting bullshit. Education aside, even those with a low IQ know when they're being played.

indeed, she was very rote, standard and political.

If we are right about that being old and uninspiring anymore, it doesn't really even matter how Donald performs. His baseline will be good to awesome, and he will win going away based on turnout and the status quo not being liked by any average american.

Did anyone else get nervous when they asked the question on Nuclear policy and went to Trump first? He did a solid job dodging that one.

I found it odd how they only went to him first with that and when asking him to explain parts of his past.

Yeah, it was weird. I think its because they want IYI and undecided women to associate TRUMP=Nuclear but he actually had the most coherent answer I've ever heard on nuclear. When he stays in Frame, he wins, big time. When he tries to play on their turf while defending himself, he loses. I hope he learned from this and hijacks the shit out of the frame next time. He can softly redirect or "pivot" as others have said without going over the top.

We need to think about how the debate played out in battleground states.

I bet Mr Trump's "law and order" comments versus Hillary's let the blacks riot cause they're oppressed attitude will play well in NC with the recent events there.

Hillary's cold indifference to the impact of nafta is not going to sit well with voters in OH and PA and New England.

Take care of those titties for me.

Don Jr I know you are reading this read.

Please tell your dad to bring every domestic issue back to jobs & trade, which is his strongest area

Health care - better jobs, competition for employees, companies must offer competitive benefits
Race - blacks most adversely impacted, good jobs improve neighborhoods and communities (must use the language of the left on this issue)
Debt / Deficit - better jobs create more taxable income without an increase in the tax rate, or even with a decrease
Regulations - less overhead spent on compliance = more growth, more investment, more jobs
Energy - jobs in oil, natural gas, coal for working class Americans.
Infrastructure - construction jobs, low hanging fruit here.

I woke up at 3am and saw some posts in here and on the Donald Trump thread saying he didn't do well and then saw the shit quality posts they were and ignored. Saw some other more respected posters being worried too which did make me wonder how stacked the debate was against him.

Did a bit of reading during and after work and all I saw was;

Hillary's talking points

- Racist
- Misogynist
- Chauvinist
- Trying to prove Mr Trump is an idiot and abuses laws (FUCKING IRONY BITCH!)

Trump's talking points

- Things that matter to people at ground level
- Handling a hostile candidate and moderator
- Handling potential media hit markers who will twist his words

Hillary did exactly what I knew she would. Pointing her finger and making him explain why he isn't a racist and even spun the racism to make Trump look like he had something against Obama because...he is black. What a shit show and hopefully there are enough people who saw through that racist astagonising.

Just what the US needs right now. The would-be POTUS pointing fingers, claiming certain individuals are racist because you criticised a black person's place of birth.

People voting for Clinton are voting for a firebug who can't help themselves burning down stuff around them.

The Trump train has been going along smoothly for so long I think trump and his supporters forgot you need to fight it out, even against old racist grandmas who are ill of health. He will be better in other debates. All he needed was to wash of the rustiness he has accumulated. He hasn't shared a stage with any big names since whacking the other republicans off the stage.

The best fighters are forged in battle, not on twitter or soaking up the limelight in front of their own crowds. He needed this debate to be some sort of hit to his character and policies rather than being told yes Sir, three bags full sir!

Trump should find a way to bait Hillary into more "teacher's pet" moments.

If she combines a sanctimonious tone with an accusation of racism, very many otherwise liberal white men in the audience will feel their testicles shrivel.

Having said that, they aren't the crucial demographic any more. The main shift in opinion among white male democrats has already occurred.

Trump is not playing to win. But allowing Hillary to attack is probably the only way to make her repulsive to female voters.
Why do women sympathise with losers, at least on a surface level?
Because in their ideal relationship, they are the sidekick to a winner, and not a winner themselves.
They sympathise with people they feel are similar to them. Rebels shit test the authorities, then women cry when the rebels are punished.

If he can't gain cooperation with sympathy, women will expect him to dominate them directly, which is not possible under female suffrage. From being a fellow shit-tester getting the switch, he would go to being the one shit-tested. Unfortunately, Trump needs to accept a little punishment, while maintaining as much dignity as possible.

Mr Trump: yeah, and you should know a lot about trickle down, because that's exactly how your catheter works.

I was just commenting on this in the other thread.

I don't know why he doesn't say "I know you're unaware of how the economy works, but my tax policy is one part of several initiatives that will be working together. Yes Hillary, if I lower taxes only and keep the terrible economy that you and your boss created, the govt will "lose" money. But when my other polcies are initiated in conjuntion, we'll see an explosion of revenue and jobs like you've never dreamed of. But number one after cutting taxes for all americans will be getting rid of corrupt, fraudulent, abusers like yourself out of government so our taxe dollars can go much farther than some politicians pocket".

Follow up questions are then welcome.

Hillary is clearly gunning for the prodigious (in both size and weight) fat women, voting bloc. Yahoo ran a hit piece on Trump for calling the winner of his Miss Universe Beauty pageant, Miss Piggy. They also are alleging he made racial statements to her (she is Latina). Apparently, she gained SIXTY POUNDS after winning her crown.

The job of a beauty pageant winner is to represent the Miss Universe brand for the whole year until a new one is crowned. She must have thought that once she had won she did not need to watch her weight and appearance. In what occupation can one get hired on the basis of one attribute, in this case her beauty, and then totally neglect that one necessary job skill and expect to still have a job? None, thats what.

Hillary is really grasping for straws if she thinks calling out Trump for fat-shaming is going to restore her lead in the polls. It is a natural reaction to be disgusted by fat people, even fat people are disgusted by themselves which leads to depression, which leads to more binge-eating.

The Miss Universe is a beauty pageant but foremost a business. Only shallow women are attracted to a career in beauty pageants anyway. Trump is evil because he had an employee that didn't uphold her end of the contract and he was looking out for he and his stockholders fiduciary interests.

He would be stupid and in breach of the law if he didn't use his position to protect the Miss Universe brand and competition.

I am so sick of identity politics. Bitch, you were a beauty queen then you let yourself go. Who's fault is that? Trump is evil because he didn't want a land-whale representing an instituion he had just purchased. That is not fat shaming. That is called being a smart businessman and not letting your employees take advantage of you. Plus, he probably just couldn't stand having to look at her. Who Would?

Here is Yahoo's hit piece on the subject:

Most of the reason I do not comment over there.

Most of us here know that a sad majority of men are looking for magic bullets. All their life, they see that all they need is to gain more muscle, or wear a cool hat, or be 6' tall or have a stack of cash. If one of those things are not there, then its despair.

It should be no surprise that men who wish the world to be as it is imagined, right now, with no effort or obstacles, are crying at this.

Any man who knows that it takes effort, failure and re calibration to win have already moved forward.

Let the meek do what they do. They will be back on side at the first sign of hope.

I can't believe how stupid those people are. The "cool" commenters there are such retards, especially that "lolknee" guy, who thinks he's the shit. And the idiots over there buy into all that crap. Gimme a fuckin break!

Been creeping the forum lately and not posting (also have been busy):

The shills and newbies fucking seriously need to BTFO - I highly suggest reading the trump thread - start to finish - yes that's right - START TO FINISH. I kept up from Day 1 of Sam's amazing thread. Ironically read my first post on that thread [Image: lol.gif]

I also foresaw Brew getting banned - not surprised by the caustic chip on his shoulder about something.

Overall pretty much how I view the debate results is how most the vets on here view it.

My question to the people who are worried about the first debate:

How the hell did you not think he was walking into the lion's den ?

Leftists mod incahoots with Hillary on a leftists news organization. I wasn't surprised they brought up the birther question (especially after burning them at his tower). Race was a given and so was his taxes.

He could've done better, he held his own, Hilldog was robotic.

Trump not "winning" was a win, the snap polls show it. Hillary....is just unlikeable and a fake bitch.

I listened to the entire thing at the gym kind of cracking up - it was shit show that the moderator let get out of hand.

Now where I differ is what he could've done:

Women - drop bombs about muslim countries who support her foundation when she brought up sexism and misogyny. WITHOUT even touching on Horny Bill and defamation of mistresses.

"What's ironic is that YOUR foundation gets MILLIONS from countries who abuse/rape/cattle women etc"

Emails - they were good but he needed to hammer the point home more.

"Your finger was on the DELETE button and risking national security"

Birther - he did flip the script BUT they kept it rolling.

"I already said Hillary's camp made this nasty accusation and I put it to rest, how about we talk about foreign born terrorists invading our country."

Race - this was such a shit show from both parts, from stumbling to robotic answers.

There's a few other subjects but they've been well covered already.

To me this was a "draw" to most average viewers, Trump clearly wasn't prepared and was standard off the cuff, Hillary was over prepared with robotic responses she shot from the hip.

I agree - this makes Trump literally not Hitler, but the Trump we knew before the politics.

Trump did fall into the frame at times and got a little hot headed.

Trump CAN do better and will do better - whether he was truly holding punches back and has more tactical nukes - I don't know.

Browsing FB most liberals touting hillary had plenty of comments from bernie bros saying she's horrible, or #letgarydebate

Trump supporters were ecstatic and said he beat Hillary.

I think by now, everyone's really made up their minds (even independents) - this debate will have the highest viewership of anyone. The rest will fall to the wayside (unless something major happens).

I still believe Trump can AND will win this election - you just can't relate to that fake ass Hillary smile/cackle/speaking.

American has woke up, the average American voter isn't stupid - deep down in side they know they have a better chance with Trump than Hillary.

Although some guys are good (GoJ for example), others are starting to piss me off, like the guy you mentioned. He basically doe not care. He tends to forget that, if Hillary wins (God forbid), males in the US (and eventually, in the most developed world), will become not a second class citizens, but a fifth class citizens. And then, guys like Lolknee will feel that on their own skin, and will think twice before posting nonesense.

It is getting harder to find some good comments in the comment section. It is full of idiots and paid trolls nowadays. Finding something of value is like looking for a needle in a big pile of shit.

I watched the debate in a very crowded bar with a bunch of local RVF members. My favorite part of the debate was when Mr. Trump said, "not in a bragadocious way", because some Hilldebeast fan was very triggered by it.
