Listened to Hillary's speech. I was laughing through the whole thing. She was pretty much just dropping one reason after another, like Rodney Dangerfield one liners, why I should vote for Trump.

Does not know the difference between supremacist and nationalist. She lied that the hijab fencer won a bronze medal. She lied about Nigel Farage, and she said that under Trump black people and white people will not be able to swim in the same swimming pool! I guess I wouldn't want "super predators" in my pool either.

I was absolutely losing it when she quoted Milo's Feminism or Cancer headline!

P.S. Damn, even though hijab girl got wrecked in the individuals, she won a team bronze.

Remember, the MSM is now going to try to support what she said in the speech with a week's worth of "investigative reporting" on the alt-right's racist threats to America and to put Trump on the defensive. If the polls don't show her pulling ahead by a point or two over the next few days, then she failed. It's about persuasion, not logic.

By the way, the reason her speech was delayed is probably not her health but because her speechwriters were doing some last minute back-and-forth with her remote persuasion experts and consultants (Godzilla) with some last-minute tweaks to the speech.

Another factor as to why Hillary's speech today fell flat.

She doesn't have the truth on her side.
She can only resort to lies & propaganda.

This. You have to focus on one idea / one headline / one phrase. That will get into peoples heads. That's what every marketer knows. Hell, they did that with "I'm With Her". They could have focused on just attacking Trump. Call him a racist etc, but with more pin-ash. Maybe something is wrong with my understanding of politics but Hillary's speech seems a disaster technically and context. Much of Hillary's base are older women and minorities (likely didn't watch) and she spends time namedropping obscure (certainly to her demographic) online pundits who these people have never heard about. It would be similar to going to Oklahamo and start namedropping Jezebel and Lindy West, what is the purpose? Names people have never heard about, never gave any thought. Alex Jones is a harmless kook to an impartial observer. I just can't see how anyone is now convinced of this alt-right menace from that.

Then the whole incredible reactive Trumpening, droning on and on about quotes from Trump, which got hearty laughs for it's outrageness (what got Trump the nomination, alpha game). I would say if a conservative did this it would be a massive fail to prop up your opponent like this, but I do understand that the regressive left, many of whom are women, are used to reactiveness, define themselves in opposition to something, not for anything. Probably didn't hurt as much.

Hillary's fatal flaw is that she is just really an awfull candidate with no charisma, no ability to create emotion, no apparant positive qualities honestly. Bernie would have been a much better option for the Dems. I am sure the polls are cooked, there simply is no way people are actually going to vote for Hillary in large numbers except for some hypotethical demographics game, where I sorely doubt blacks and latinos are going to come out Obama strong.
