Guidelines for this subforum v1.1

As the culture war heats up, there is increasing overlap between "politics" and "culture," making it difficult to know if your thread belongs here (Politics & War) or in Everything Else.
Here are some guidelines:
1. Post here if your thread directly involves the government (agencies, politicians) or international institutions (UN, World Bank, etc) that generally involve a level above local police.
2. Post here if your thread is about policies relating to terrorism. Acute terrorist acts, random small-scale shootings (bank robbery gone bad), or catastrophes (nightclub fire, hurricane) can go in EE.
3. For threads about geo-political analysis and esoterism which tries to understand elite forces at play and their intentions, post in the Deep Forum
4. For general SJW or feminist freak-outs in public or universities, "rape culture" topics, new laws, or other happenings with a strong cultural component, post in EE.
Lastly, if you have under 50 posts, you cannot post here at all. If you do, you will be suspended for at least 7 days.
Hope that helps.

Now that the sub 250 rule is clearly known to all members, the punishment for breaking this rule will be a one week suspension instead of three days. If the member already has a 40% warning, the rule violation will result in a permanent ban.

Should the version in the thread title be changed to 1.1 or 2.0?

Suggested Posting Limitations
You cannot post in the Game section, unless you have completed 100 approaches.
You cannot post in the Newbie section if you have more than 250 posts.
You cannot post in a section other than the Newbie if you have less than 250 posts.
You cannot post in the Travel section unless you have visited 2 countries.
You cannot post in the Lifestyle section if you are under 21.
You cannot post in the Weightlifting and Fitness section unless you are current lifting weights and are fit.
You cannot post in the Deep Forum until you have submitted one 1500 word essay to ROK.
You cannot post in the Politics and War section unless you have 250 posts.
You can post in the Everything Else section.
Does this seem far-fetched? If someone makes 250 delete or blank posts are they more capable of making a Donald Trump or a politics and war post than beforehand, especially if it is based in life experience?
Regulation is seldom the solution. Encouraging people to positive action and example is much better. What is the mission here? Where are the objectives for the Forum discussed? It seems as though discussing more of what could/should be done and how it could/should be done is the critical path. You want to protect the speech mechanism by which the group is stabilized and can be dynamic.
7 day suspension accepted for this post.

The first part is a parody G and is not a good idea, they can be likened to potatoes. The second to last sentence is the meat. Your sincerity is appreciated.
14 days or maybe I will be banned.

Since the election is over, I have changed the minimum requirement for posting about politics or race from 250 posts to 50 posts.

I felt that 250 was a solid marker. If you can make it to 250 posts without getting banned I would think there is no doubt that you have an understanding of the flow of the forum and not about to spout off some dumb shit.
Maybe it is too much but I think 50 definitely too little.
At 50 posts I was still learning and stayed in the newbie section.
